Rani is very thankful for the wisps distraction. Between that and being FF, you *just* hit Power crackles over its surface making it 'twitch' in an uncomfortable looking manner.
Meanwhile Big Jim gives a massive smack down to the robot. Ouch. It totters, as much as a massive thing can in the oddly shaped corridor.... and falls.

The conveyor continues to move you all southward, towards more of the massive machinery...
But I'll give you a moment to decide what you want to do. You do know there are some hidden exit panels (roughly where those helpful "S"s are imprinted on the map on the regular map layer where I can't remove them easily. But are not sure yet about how to open them or *Exactly* where they are.

Up ahead it looks very, very similar to what you have just faced. More construction equipment with small side passages with different conveyor belts that sometimes have odd and ends, or almost completed robots, moved into them.

Mikey floats down the chute. You look through his video feed and see...
A featureless, cuboidal room containing a handful of mint-condition robotic soldiers, powered down and arranged in incomplete rows like a squadron waiting for its final members to arrive. Moxie drops down to the hidden chamber.

You head down the chute and end up in the chamber. You do note the 'wall' you came through looks like it can be easily sealed.
And using Daata's rolls from above
Interestingly it looks like these computers are remote from the main station routines - that is they are not actually part of the main station network. A quick check of statistics and counters shows that this is some type of autonomous pod. Once it collects thirty robots it detaches from its current location and heads towards the "rear" of the station where it seems to await further instructions.
There is some type of global counter here, that indicates that there have been more than a thousand of these full pods "delivered" since the station was purposed for this task.
A further computers check might reveal more..

Daata manages to extract the robots programming software. It will take a while to get anything useful out of it, but this is exactly the sort of thing that the society was after. If you didn't mind spending some time you might even be able to reprogram one of the pods. As to where the pods go... there is no indication.
Unfortunately... time is something you apparently don't have.
A jolt of feedback bursts from every armor-mounted comm unit, followed by an artificial voice oozing with saccharine spite. “The only biomass that should be able to enter this facility is garbage—fitting, considering how the current Society leadership is so willing to throw its best agents away. Not to worry, you aren’t the first Starfinders to be processed here, and the newer models are a significant improvement. I value my assets, you see. Would you like a demonstration?”
There is no pause to wait for you to agree or otherwise. The nearby hatch opens and a squad of what appears at first glance to be undead startfinders rushes through!

Apologies for missing the section between battles. I kept arriving too late to provide useful computers checks.
Oh no... no agents deserve this fate...
Okay, let's try this spell again and see if it can be useful...
Sefel strides to the side so that he has a clear shot through the doorway, and erects another laser net in the doorway that they are about to pass through.
[move] 10' E
[standard] Cast laser net (shown on map, in the doorway)
I still don't get the AoE of this spell, I would think it's just a line in the doorway, and the radius would be a vertical plane between the two anchor points that are the sides of the doorway.

![]() |

It looks like a Sci-Fi 'Web' spell with damage instead of impeding movement. It is a 20' radius spread effect (so goes around corners) that simply relies on the presence of anchor points to adhere it to. In other words, you can't cast it onto an empty playing field or into the air, there must be more than one surface to anchor to.
Given it occupies a large blast area, I am going to suggest that you redirect that spell to the AoE blast I have just put on the map. Yes it catches Big Jim and I am happy for that to happen - Jim has sufficient Fire resistance to negate the damage. The more of the spread they have to walk through, the worse it gets for them, or they stand still and potentially take damage too

![]() |

I imagine it as a great spell for a corridor, where you put up lasers that folk have to walk a way through. I also imagine you can set up the anchor points where you choose, so you could just make the room the undead are in active for the lasers. That said the text is pretty meh "A net of dangerous lasers between two solid points" If they are points, there cannot be a net, just a single laser beam. I think it makes sense to treat it as "surfaces" rather than "points"
Moxie shouts out some encouraging words, and then shows she is more than just nice words as she all but empties her battery into the lead undead. The electricity courses over it, causing it to do an eerie dance.
Looks like it is vulnerable to electricity.
Rani pulls out a tricky move, surprising the undead and allowing her to deliver a high voltage present to a nerve bundle. It doesn't look happy with her.
BJ takes up a position in the doorway, where he delivers some more bad news to the lead deceased starfinder.
Sefel meanwhile causes a load of lasers to appear in the next room, possibly frying the undead there. Though you really should have rolled for init
