Between JAsmine and Lylo the final ooze is defeated. The rest is silence. End of initative.

![]() |

"Let's see if we can get through to the Lorespire Complex via the radio. If not, we have more of a trip ahead of us." adds Lylo.

![]() |

The quorlu sheats his melee weapon and looks at the creatures.
They then start working on the drone “I need to change his ammo batteries, one is depleted and the other only has a couple charges left. Let’s put the battery from my melee weapon in it. Then lets fix that dent…”
Rree-eelo are working on their drone while taking a little break. 10 minutes rest, 1 Resolve point to get back to full Stamina, and to give back 1 hit point to the drone that end up at full HP.
“If someone spots a shop selling batteries, tell me so that I can buy one or two extras.”

![]() |

Dafyd also takes a breather and comments to ʀːi˧i˩ro If there is a little charge left you may want to put that in your melee weapon. They are a lot less draining on the batteries they can about twenty minutes before needing fresh juice. I think I will be sticking to the gauntlets for now. Is there some stuff worth having in those oozes or were they definitely not of the assembly kind?
Having realised it makes little difference wether I attack once or twice with the melee weapons probably double attacking for the forseeable

XperimentalDM |

The party rests after their hard won fight. Lylo tries to get the Lorespire complex on comms, but gets nothing but static, busy signals, or error messages. You can continue on foot or head back to your ground vehicle.

XperimentalDM |

The destroyed polyphonic oozes do not have anything of value nor do that have a profitable use that any of you are aware of.

![]() |

"I'll get us there as quickly as possible," Lylo says with confidence as he takes the wheel of the borrowed vehicle. "Let's roll."

XperimentalDM |

You continue to take the maintanince vehicle down the ring for another 10 minutes. The path brings you past another station, this one near the Security Resouces Pavillion. You can stop here or continue on to the Drifter's end station (neat the Lorespire Complex).

![]() |

"The Security Resources Pavillion is nearby. I would hope they are aware of the various threats that have been setting upon the Station," says Lylo. "Although, if communications are down, they may not be getting updates."
He turns to his teammates, "What do you all think? Should we stop?"

XperimentalDM |

You are able to disembark the car at the station and after a minute or so of walking you are in thje heart of the Secuitry Resources Pavillion.
Security guards of all different species in a motley of company uniforms overrun the blocks of offices and training areas that make up the SecRes Pavilion, colloquially known as the “Merc Lurk.” Several dozen loosely organized squads rush to help get the situation on the Station under control. Most of these professionals brush past you, ignoring any attempts to communicate; others are swept up in a state of confusion and are similarly not receptive to communication.

![]() |

Rlee-eero watch all the mercenaries, and comment to their companions “They seem to be more organized and taking it better than what we saw up to now. We should try to find someone willing and having the time to talk, maybe we can help, or maybe they can give us information on the situation.”

XperimentalDM |

You get the impression that "using your words" has a different meaning here. An intimidate or profession(mercenary) would get their attention.

![]() |
"Settle down and order up," comes Jasmines telepathic command. "We have a lot to deal with, and we need to get everybody on the same page. You can either step up and help or step aside and let us do it."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

XperimentalDM |

A female shirren in white power armor takes note of Jasmines telelpathic shout. "You got moxie little starfinder. I like that. Were already working on getting systems back online and securing this area so we can offer support and shelter to others in the rest of the station. A group of black and silver robotic assets attacked the area right before the pavilion’s tech resources went haywire. Though multiple groups of automated security assets began behaving erratically or shut down entirely, I didn’t recognize the black and silver models as belonging to any known mercenary company or security corp. Keep an eye out for these hostile units. I wouldn't want to hear about the untimely demise of the Societies newest Junior agents after all-"
Her words are cut short by a series of percussive booms from behind a nearby building, followed by the sound of gunfire.
"Well looks like this is the opportunity to show what you can do. You want to get on the same page come back me up and we can check out the situation together."

XperimentalDM |

When you arrive on the scene you see several members of the SRP exchanging fire with a huge humanoid Shaped mech.
"Oh crap, the prototype must have gotten infected by the same thing affecting our other assets. We need to take it down."
She runs up and takes cover behind some crates before firing at the unoccupied mech.

Lylos shot misses the mech
Special attacks?
Lylo conveys what he knows to his fellow Starfinders.

![]() |

Bonkers looks at his needler and back to the mech and shakes his head.
"I should have just stayed in bed today. Meh, my alarm would probably be killing me right now..."
He casually points his needle pistol at ʀːi˧i˩ro and shoots him. He feels a certain lightness to his step...
Basic booster, +10' enhancement bonus to your move for 4 turns.
He also moves back a bit for some more cover. Hopefully.

hammertime,
Once every 1d4 rounds as a swift action, the
prototype configures its hammerfist from a solid gauntlet
into a weapon crackling with electricity for 1 round. In
this form, the hammerfist gains the reach and first arc AR
special weapon properties; it also gains the stagger critical
hit effect, and deals a combination of bludgeoning and
electricity damage.
power jump,
The prototype can activate its thrusters as
part of a move action, granting it a fly speed of 60 feet
(average maneuverability) with a maximum height of 30
feet. The prototype must land at the end of this movement
or fall.

I believe that is commonly part of construct immunities

Yeah they are also immune to nonlethal. Between the oozes and the constructs, this one is a bit rough for somse characters at low level.

I believe the pulsecaster and other weapons to which the construct may be immune can still provide cover fire and harrying fire. That could be very useful, especially if I continue to roll so poorly. ; P
"We should split up." Lylo counsels. Knowing the prototype has some sort of hammering fist attack, the halfling relies upon his short legs to try and put some distance between him and the robot before he opens fire.
