Before shooting at it again Bonkers uses some harsh language so, if it fails as spectacularly as it has been, he'll feel like he's accomplished something at least.

You rolled a '6'! Two of them! You should be proud of that with this group! :)

In the flurry of melee attacks and projectiles Bonkers manages to get a good clean hit in downing the final robotic assailant at last.
END OF COMBAT!

As the construct goes down Bonkers looks down at his rifle, "Well, maybe we won't be melting you down after all... Everyone OK? I hope that was all of them!"

"I could use a rest and should run a diagnostic. Whatever has infected these robots appears to have inflicted my targeting computer and weapons as well." Lylo laments. "Then, let's get to the Lorespire Complex. They should be provide any additional healing or first aid we need there."
Could use a 10 minute rest, if not some healing.

“Thanks again for keeping me alive. I’m needing some rest.” They give the drone a look. “I might be able to fix him once more.”

Sorry for the hold up
With the robotic attackers destroyed and your wounds mended somewhat you press on. At the Starfinder Society headquarters, it’s immediately clear that a massive battle has just taken place. The charred and crushed
remains of robots identical to the ones you fought in Drifter’s End lay scattered across the lawns and courtyards. Armed Starfinders stand stationed at each entrance to the main building. Many of these guards bear the familiar Exo-Guardians emblem or wear gear and
insignia associated with Radaszam’s Obsidian Spiders mercenary outfit. As Starfinders, you automatically know that these are both factions associated with the Society that actively recruit combat trained agents
into their ranks—it’s clear that they have come together to defend the Lorespire Complex in its time of need. These Starfinders nod grimly to you as you pass but are too involved in their tasks to offer further assistance or conversation.
As the you approach the facility,
Celita the leader of the Dataphiles faction, intercepts them. She’s
wearing an armored vest under her usual attire, carries a rifle slung
across her back, and is clearly out of breath from physical exertion.
“You must be the Starfinders scheduled to arrive today. It’s impressive that you managed to bridge this distance so quickly. Thanks to your quick reflexes, and to the efforts of a veteran team who helped defend the Complex grounds from those machines, we were able to evade the worst of this attack. The Archives and Guidance remain uncorrupted by the virus—for now.”
She pauses, glancing overhead to the patchwork of erratically moving starships visible in the artificial sky. “Most of Absalom Station is still reeling from the attack. There’s currently no way to estimate the full extent of the infrastructure damage. It’s unclear whether Absalom Station was the sole target, or if this is one of many coordinated attacks across our system. As soon as I have more data, I’ll pass it on. Stand by for now, but first... head to the infirmery to get checkout out.”

![]() |

Bonkers nods, the dismissal in her voice was obvious. Something very big has happened.
"Well. Infirmary? I'd like to try to find out what actually happened here but now does not seem to be the best time to ask directly."

![]() |

"You don't have to tell me twice." Lylo affirms as he heads to the infirmary.

![]() |

The quorlu listen carefully before replying “A virus? That’s what caused all those troubles. We found many on our way and tried to help people best we can, that’s why we were delayed. I’m glad most people are fine here. I’ll follow Lylo to the infirmary, some of those wounds still sting a bit.”

XperimentalDM |

You all check in with the infirmiry and are cleared to recouperate in your own quarters the next day. Absalom station is still reeling from the attack and you were far from the only agents in the medical ward that day. The cause of the attacks is still unknown, but it's clear the threat is far from over.
Thats the end folks. I have to say having run this 3 times and played it twice, that was the roughest I've seen the last encouter go, but you all handled it well. Chronicles should be out by the end of the weekend. You earned the full 720 credits and +2 reputation with your faction. Results have been reported for a while now. Sorry for the stall out at the end. If anyone would be interested in a session of Intro B: For the factions in the near future, I would be happy to get one started in the next week or two. I'll post again when chronicles are ready.

Thanks for running XperimentalDM! I have a dwarven mystic of sorts, who would love a seat at For the Factions!
And thanks all for a fun run (and keeping us all alive!). I look forward to sharing a table with each of you in the future!

Thank you for running and thanks to all for playing! Bonkers has already been pulled into another game but I need to finally make my brand new skitter-character. Pretty sure I haven't played that one, doesn't ring a bell. Is it year 4 as well?

Technically it's "Year less" but yeah it came out with season 4. It is one of the two seasonless intro scenarios they released.

Yeah, I like to think of the three "Intro" scenarios as 4-001, 002, and 003. Don't want to say too much, but one of the characters is only introduced this season.

Thanks for running. Is Celita out of breath because somebody forgot she was an android? or should I be more worried about that box text?

Thanks for running the game XperimentalDM, and for all the other players for the adventure.
XperimentalDM, I would gladly go on playing that character with you on another game.

Cool. Would be happy to jump in with a level 1 skitter!
