Zeph turns to the team, "Am I the only one who speaks the elven language?
Zeph thinks for a minute ...
"In some ways, this might be easier if we all linked hands and I showed you this directly."
Sgt. Tremersynn Anovus
"Am I the only one who speaks the elven language?"
Tremersynn shrugged. "Not me."
"In some ways, this might be easier if we all linked hands and I showed you this directly."
Tremersynn looked uneasy.
"Uuuuh; ookayyy..." He drawled out.Reluctantly he reached his hands out.
GM Wolf
With that said you either hold hands or don't.
Your connection through the mind link allows for more relaying of information since you have a common language. She is able to tell you about her homeworld filled with magic and wonder. She was captured by strange human mages who she soon learned came from another world. She was tested on and experimented with. She is ashamed of her inability to get free and stop what they were doing to her. Though she was able to remain uncorrupted. Most of the experiments would fall into depravity and charnel desires, seeding the corruption. Eventually with the presence of Chaos magic and their own corrupted souls they would begin to change. It took years, decades, maybe even centuries. She was but a young girl when she came here and now is a weak adult. You can see that she has done what she can for exercise as that was the only thing to block out the scenes from either of the other cells. That or sleep.
N-1
N-1 is not sure what Zephyr plans but will join hands. "She has gone through a lot, but she seems to have held onto her sanity."
Zephyr Starrr
So the plan worked, we have rescued the only valueable test subject it seems ... are we offing the rest?
"My Lady, I am sorry, your name did not come through my mindlink. I am Zephyr. Would you please tell me, from your time here and all that you know, should we eliminate the other experiments? It seems they are basically infernal at this point. I hope all of us to be able to clean and rest once this area can be made safe.
GM Wolf
Your group does what they can to settle into the rooms you have cleared. Would someone go and bring the dwarves this way? There is a palpaple feeling of magic coming from the walls. Also dread from the 'pictures' you have seen, let alone the cries of the beasts still in their cages.
At the word Kaylee is able to open the cell to the elf. Also at the mention of offing the rest she offers, "I could purge the other cells, which should electrify them."
In a pleading voice the elf replies to Zephyr, "YES! Destroy the demons! Oh sorry for the outburst, I have had my fill of them. I had many names but most of my previous life is but blurred memories. Alethia, Zephyr... I know the name but... maybe it is something else." She begins to focus but can't seem to recall anything else.

"Kaylee, please, purge them. We can finish whatever isn't taken care of ... and then work on the cleanup. We could even try to dispell some of the magic, but I can certainly clean the walls."
GM Wolf
The creatures are purged, the cleaning begins, and the dwarves are told. Soon the dwarves come and setup in the Western room.
Three days later... assuming that works for the group, The black metal cells are cleaned and painted. Only the etchings and scratch marks remain but with Zephyrs mending ability those will be gone soon too.
Tell us what you do to make the room your own. Also put your character picture in your room.
N-1
N-1 takes a room in the back and will not do much with it. As an android he keeps it pretty neat. He would try and get some items scavenged to make a makeshift bunk or bed that was comfortable.
Zephyr Starrr
Zephyr takes the room on the "left" and pours himself into purifying and customizing it. He brings the walls back to their natural light gunmetal coloring ... and then begins the process of painting a starfield on the ceiling. He wants to ceiling eventually to imply the presence of Black Butterfly.
Anything to make it seem like a "nice place in space" rather than a demonic holding cell.
GM Wolf
Each of the black metal cells have a bed that is cleaned by computers. Likely the only thing that was not desecrated. There is also a desk in each of the rooms with lots of shelves full of trash and the items are worthless now. A few decorative rocks that are shiney could be saved if you didn't just trash it all.
Nice Zephyr!
If given a room the Doc would setup a proper clinic so everything could be easily reached.
Kaylee makes the back terminal her little work station in the hall.
Drabbon takes space between two cells to make a hammock bed.
Sgt. Tremersynn Anovus
Tremersynn takes a convenient room and strips it down bare and cleans it till it shines reminiscent of a marine's bunk space. He keeps his armor on a rack for cleaning and servicing.

The next morning N-1 gathers his gear and comes out. "Shall we go see what else we can find today?"

"You found another doorway did you not? When we were first doing recon? Let's check it out."
Sgt. Tremersynn Anovus
After a good rest, Tremersynn goes through the morning routine.
After eating whatever was available for breakfast, he pulls out his datapad and projects an overhead map of what he knew of the tunnel network.
He then invited the others to network to the projector what they knew as well to see the possibilities for exploration.
N-1
N-1 points at a place and says, "This was the door I found."
Cassadar
Cass was taking some time to get situated in the other room, making sure that there was nothing in there that was threatening, donning some gloves to make sure that the area was cleaned to his standards before getting settled. He seemed distracted, lost in his thoughts for the amount of time that he was cleaning, and then spent a fair amount of time interacting with Zephyr and the former prisoner— Alethia. His Elvish was rusty at first, but it became something functional by the time that people were setting up for bed.

How much interaction is possible with the team that was here before? Could a passing Diplomacy over time improve their regard towards us?
GM Wolf
What do you have for breakfast?
I would be fine with each of you making a diplomacy check to see about their regard towards you. The one player who has the most ranks or boost to it makes the main roll and the others are going for a 10, 15, or 20 for an assist. You choose your DC before posting, I am trusting you guys.
N-1
At this point, I am not sure we have much other then whatever non-humanoid stuff was found in these cages.

Hence, Zeph keeps his Aeon Stone activated so that he doesn't need to eat ;)
Kaylee Morgrave
She is in her hammock in the back of the hallway and is nonplussed as the large vesk advanced towards her.
"I am doing fine Drabbon. I could use some fresh food but these MREs work for now. Yeah cycle is a better word as the standard clock says it is 22 hours. Oh yeah you were saying something about a shower. If you go into any of the workrooms you should be able to pull on a lever on the back wall which would pop out the spigots and such. Though I am on a hunt for food."
Zephyr Starrr
"It's time: the rest of you need food, and we came here to make money. We need more than a rifle. We need to do this. Let's go check out the other section N-1 found. If it's another lab like this, we need to eliminate the demonic influence ..."
GM Wolf
Following N-1 back to the room he found, you see it is very different. The doorway has scorch marks around it and the door itself is warped metal just on the inside of the room.
Looking around you think it almost a museum as there are different things on display. Glass or forcefields secure the different displays. There are pictures on the walls. A large red tower with a red ball on it. Also there is a collection of items including: a ray gun, a spear, a stuffed animal of a purple dragon, a bag with multiple buttons upon it, a coke bottle, a discman, and a set of razor sharp claws.
Several of the displays have been broken and items are missing.
N-1
N-1 looks around and then walks over to the ray gun to see if he can access it.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
As he moves towards it he notices something in the glass and bends over to pick up a ring.
GM Wolf
Spellcraft or Mysticism check for each.
Tremersynn you read the gold leafed wooden plaque that the spear rests upon, "He who is touched by the red stone shall weild this spear."
The description vid reads, "Ancient Vesk Artifact. Though no Vesk could weild it. Perhaps it came from the Vesk homeworld and weilded by their enemies."
The ray gun is still secure in a glass case.
N-1
"There was some weird stone on the vid that we saw before we got here. I think it was red, but that may be wrong. We could go back and check the messages that were being sent out." N-1 replies as he walks up to the glass case and examines it to see if there looks to be anything odd about it before he removes the glass or breaks it.
I look to see if any wires or other things are attached to the glass or if it looks to just lift off, have a lid, etc.

"That ring is magical N-1, I can try to Identify it later. Not sure if that's trap cast on the other case or not, but it's magical also."
Cassadar
While all the items looked interesting from the standpoint of culture, Cass was wary of places like museums. No place dedicated to preservation of items was without a security system. Instead, he was looking around for terminal access, trying to get a sense of what kind of ship this was that they were currently on. The systems here, while old, were quite formidable, and what he was acquiring by poking around the systems and gleaning instruction and tips where he could with a cobbled-together system that was more patchwork relative to this ship than any other standard system.
If he could make sense of whatever language the ship used, figuring out the rest of this ship would be easier. Finding food was going to be a priority soon unless they were very fortunate.

Cass finda a central terminal and is able to understand easily the language in this computer.
N-1
N-1 sees no visible sign of the trap that Zephyrr mentioned. So he backs up some and draws his gun and says, "Fire in the hole!" before shooting to hit the glass case where he would not hit the gun inside.
Azimuth Laser Pistol Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Azimuth Laser Pistol Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
With that damage I think my blast doesn't damage the glass. A sad but true statement... Maybe it sets off the trap. :P
N-1
N-1 shakes his head at the pistol and without responding goes to try and lift the glass case muttering about battery alignment.
N-1
"This case is not moving. I think we will need to break the glass. Can you smash it Armond without hitting the item inside?" N-1 asks Armond while frowning at the case.
Drabbon Armond Kralburt
He nods and moves forward, "I believe I can, glass will shower upon the item but my strike should not hit the gun."
greatsword with PA: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 1 = 6
damage: 2d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 + 3 = 16
He winds up and swings above the case. He looks a bit sheepishly and then takes a steadying breath before trying again.
greatsword with PA: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 - 1 = 13
damage: 2d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 5) + 6 + 3 = 17
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
He gets hit by the arc of electricity fully and stays standing but looks to the others, "Anyone have some healing?"
GM Wolf
Drabbon's second swing hits the case and shatters it and at the same moment an electric arc shoots off at Drabbon. Reflex DC 13 for half of 2d6 E damage.
Lucky for N-1 it was just an arc of energy and only hit the large vesk.
After N-1 gets the ray gun he looks it over and sees that it might be operational but the batteries need to be recharged.
N-1
In case N-1 gets struck by it as well.
Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
