"Could we not just gather the remains and find a functional airlock? Fires on space stations are dangerous. Even chemical decomposition would be safer than a fire, don't you think?"

"You are probably correct. I just think we should make sure the remains are fully disposed of. Chemical decomposition is probably best if we can find the chemicals. I am not sure I want to be all that close to any air locks right now." N-1 says in agreement.

Finally coming to his senses, Tremersynn shook his head.
"Uh. OK. But later. Let's clear the rest of the room first; find out if there are any more experiments." He said.

"We still need to take out the arm. N-1 motions to the arm in the remaining tank, "But my gun is not great against these armored tanks."

He charged up to the tank and swung his hammer hard against it.

Tremersynn slams his warhammer into the glass and it shatters, opening a large hole in the chamber with Zephyr's help. Water rushes out and the blade like arm comes with it. Though out of the water it falls to the ground and can only wriggle like an eel.
N-1 shoots the last of the fleshwarped appendage though misses it.

Most likely the group aims their weapons at the last nearly helpless fleshwarp and eviserates it.

"That does seem like a good idea. I wonder if whatever created these monstrousities is still around..." N-1 will begin trying to prod all the body parts into a pile to destroy.

The weapon was put away now that the immediate threat was handled, Cass returned back to stand beside Zephyr, out of the way of the vandalism currently occurring. He almost seemed like nothing had happened and their compatriot had not been recently attached to a head from a tube. He knew well enough to stay out of the way when there were large weapons being swung about, much less with oddities in tubes being destroyed or freed... that was the uncertain part.
"Given the situation regarding contamination: should that not have been done before things started getting smashed?"

N- 1 keeps his gun out but nods and follows along as the group returns to report their findings and see the doctor.

After the group tells about the attack, the doctor checks out Drabbon and injects him with a few vials. He states, "Those antibiotics and immune boosters should help with anything that the skull left in you. Anything left over should not affect you. Though if I could look at the research material, I could do a better check."
Kaylee and the Doctor begin to pack up with their quick bags. Leaving behind the portable medical station.

With your permission then, I would like to count this as having said something, and will assume no one is surprised when Zeph steps away to meditate. He really does need to recover those spells.

Shouldn't the dwarves be somewhere nearby? Could someone check in with them on their scouting while Zeph meditates? Maybe we should tell them about the creepy things?

When Zephyr wakes up and is ready, he goes to the doctor to check-in re: Drabbon's condition. He then asks if the doctor examined Tremersynn, who was brought under some kind of bio-psychic control at one point ... which they might hope to avoid in the future.

He quietly replies to Zephyr's concerns, "There is no lasting effects that I could see that should affect Tremersynn or Drabbon. Though without knowing more about what this creature was that infected him, there isn't much I can do. I gave him some antibodics and a general booster.
"Thank you Doctor; when we go back, I am sure we can get some samples for us to take a look at. Thanks for helping keep everyone in one piece."

N-1 gathers his gear and tells the dwarves, "We found what seems to be a complex of rooms that might work as a base camp. There were strange...things in the front room. We are going to see if there are more dangers to be handled."

The dwarves nod to N-1's words, one of them offers, "Let us know when it is clear. We have found some rooms too but they are all infested with some kind of red stone and is covered in a red mist. Your rooms do sound like a better place to make a camp."

There is one door to the North. You also might see that the assault rifle is back on the wall. Even though the one who grabbed it still has it. A new rifle?
Entering into the next room is rather easy, with a click of a button next to the door, it opens. The next room is full of computers that are along the walls. The center floor is bare and to the North you see four doors that lead to individual smaller rooms. There are no windows and these smaller rooms seem to be covered in a black metal of some kind. There is also a door to the left and the right.

Looking at the doors, Tremersynn frowned in thought.
"Anyone gonna take that rifle?"
In the next room...
"OK, we'll take the doors in a clockwise pattern." He said, moving to the first door on the left.

As Tremersynn takes lead and opens the door on the left, within you see a room with energized cages. Strange fleshwarped creatures writhe and screech. These are full beings as opposed to the pieces that you saw in the chambers before.

Drabbon Armond Kralburt |

He stows his greatsword on his back and collects the assault rifle from the wall. He checks its chamber, loading spot, and finds the magazine release to check out the bullets and if it looked properly put together. Satisfied he slams the magazine back into its spot and aiming it at the robotic arms smiles.
He then follows behind Tremersynn, looking in after him ready to move in or shoot as needed. He clicks it over to automatic. "So what's the plan as they are caged up?" He asks.

"It won't be much of a camp with a bunch of screeching mutates in it ... can we tap in to the computers to see if there are records of these experiments? To see what these creatures are?"

At Zephyr's question she states, "I need to connect to this computer system physically, it is on its own grid." She looks for a main terminal or at least a port that she can connect through.

Drifting behind the others, Cass does what he can to remain out of the way, still trying to make sense of this ship that they have been marooned on. This curious area appears to be a research lab, but was this of experimentation, or creation? There was not enough to say just yet, but it was easy enough to focus more on the task of salvage than anything else right now. There was no point in leaving here empty handed. Trusting Kaylee to make sense of the system in the room, he took a look at the rest of the room with an eye for study.
