The group taking their time to look over the room and the paintings sees that, four evenly-spaced canvas walls run parallel to each other in a row stretching from north to south through the middle of this room. On both sides of each wall hang dozens of paintings, drawings, and sketches of a variety of violence-themed scenes. A solid wooden door is in the middle of the south wall and a heavier, oaken door is in the middle of the north wall.

Their keen eyes do not spot anymore traps or dangers within the room and Gru'gar feels as if there is possibly value in the gruesome paintings...he can't truly discern anything of note. Gab! attempts to mimic some of the linework with his own tools but failing to do so, assumes they can't be of much value with such an odd style.

With that the group prepares to head through the heaven oaken doors ahead! Checking it again for traps and pushing it open slowly reveals that a half-moon-shaped cliff splits this room in half. The lower side, along the south wall, is twenty feet below the higher side along the north wall. The cliff is rather smooth, seemingly absent of handholds or any easy way to climb it. Two simple wooden doors lead out to the north and east. The room smells vaguely like cooked meat.

As the group approaches the cliff, Uaine and Benson both spot hidden handholds along the center spines of the cliff which should make climbing it much easier. Climb DC 10.

The others also spot that within the handholds appeared to be some spent mechanisms that fired large spikes, turning around reveals they are embedded deeply into the oaken door they entered through. Perhaps, the unlucky souls that came before the group is saving you much trouble and possibly your lives. Your skilled trapspotters can tell that they will not fire again unless reset.

Most of the group gets up with little trouble, Sadaf slipping back down on his first attempt.

At the top of the cliff, there are two doors...one to the north and one to the east. Against the eastern door is the source of the smell in the room. Two deformed and burned bodies lie against the eastern door in a puddle of congealed oil. It appears to have dropped from a triggered oil trap above the door.

As the group finishes their ascent and begins to explore, Benson investigates the bodies to find that anything of value is now a molten heap. Sadaf opens the eastern door after being sure it isn't tampered with, which reveals a small antechamber of carved stone with a thick black curtain on the other side.

In the dim light, Sadaf misses the poorly set rock-fall trap embedded into the ceiling but Gru'gar and Uaine quickly hold his shoulder stopping him from stepping forward.

The trap appears ready to trip at any moment and may be difficult to disarm, if triggered the rocks would rain down in the antechamber.

Benson could likely make a skilled jump over the area within the rockfall trap without triggering it, if successful. The issue is there is a thick curtain on the other side, the question is will you make it through the curtain (increased difficulty from my perspective) and then what is waiting on the other side. If you are worried about it completely blocking the way, there appears to be a lot of rocks but not enough that would be impossible to clear in decent time. Perhaps 3d10 minutes at most.

Gru'gar struggles with taking apart the haphazard trap mechanisms, but thanks to the assistance of his allies he narrowly avoids triggering it early.

Assuming the group takes a moment and tries again, he is able to correct his mistakes and disable the trap with ease. The rocks still hang precariously in a cart above the hallway but no mechanisms will have them falling.

As Sadaf and his companion delve deeper into the corridors ahead, they get a good look at the hand carved tunnels braced by thick wooden planks. The ceilings reach about 10 feet above and are only wide enough for single file. The floors are damp and dripping water is a constant background noise. His sharp eyes spot the water creating small streams of the water trickling down the tunnels further in.
