Extra question. Am I allowed to research spells?
Independent Research: A wizard can also research a spell independently, duplicating an existing spell or creating an entirely new one. The cost to research a new spell, and the time required, are left up to GM discretion, but it should probably take at least 1 week and cost at least 1,000 gp per level of the spell to be researched. This should also require a number of Spellcraft and Knowledge (arcana) checks.
Not to worry, I would probably not introduce custom stuff into the game. Unless you would give me an okay on that, that is. Just in case I would have issues looking for the spells I am interested in purchasing.

Alright, I think I agree, we seem to have lost Eliana. And it seems that Karthan is considering swapping to a different character? Anyway, I can play Eliana if her participation is all that Karthan needs to keep going. And I'm sorry for slacking on the posting -- I'll get back to it now. I'm just working and going to school! There's a lot to think about, let alone creative writing!
Yes! You may research spells. I am comfortable with custom content, but I do want review power over any proposed additional spells. I expect to dictate the spell level of proposed spells and potentially to add expensive material components if the effect is too powerful to be repeatable.

Eliana is most of what Karthan needs. The rest of it is just motivation to work with the rest of the group. Tiame's easy, mages are helpful as long as they're on your side. Isabela's surprisingly easy too long as she maintains her cover and doesn't just full vamp at the drop of a dime. Liom'rut is the hardest sell and the biggest target for Karthan's animosity but there are ways to get Karthan to at least tolerate his existence, he's a soldier not a paladin after all. From there it's just about seeing whether or not the rest of the group even wants to go down the route of building up law enforcement and creating a foundation of civil order that Karthan seems to be heading down. And if so to what degree?
If you guys don't then it would be easier to shelve Karthan than try to keep together compromises for the sake of one character.

Hi GM, well that is a 33, I just want to add that my PC literally has mind-reading-altering powers. If she can't get any info of use to progress this game here then there is none to be had. If she finds someone who has some info she will zero in on them and just read their mind.
If not then I have no idea why I made a pc with the skills needed to get info.
GM I'm going, to be honest here GM, I'm a little frustrated at the lack of pace in this game. It feels like we PC just keep banging our heads down dead ends over and over. Would it be possible to get some kind leg up to a plot/adventure here, I feel it would really help on the player fun side.
And let's not have endless roll for every tiny thing, that I think woul just slow the game down again. I am not saying slow is bad, just you have to keep the momentum. Somewhere there is a plot and it's about time I think we players were given a clue to it.
:)

I politely disagree.
Us wandering around aimlessly - Not really true, we have a few plot hooks presented - an eviscerated merchant, a fortress full of undead, a crazed angel, and the abducted citizens. There is also one or two personal projects Tiame would look into. Some of these are based on player backstories, yes, but the mad angel is (I would assume, at least) something that indicates to the plot the GM wants to present to us. We just kind of escaped from that fight and it was not touched since. I have reasons for that, as a player (not as a character - Tiame would intend on looking into that). Which brings me to my next point...
The party is split - this is something I have been trying to fix since I arrive to Havengul. Tiame has contacted Eliana multiple times now, but Eliana seems to be lost to the void at the moment. Which means - after we finish this gambling hall scene - I will try to get in touch with the "human commander" instead, and we will see whether we can get together as a party at last. We would pursue one of the hooks mentioned above, hopefully, and see where it gets us. When I start a campaign, PCs tend to be scattered, unless you want to go for something "usual", such as "You meet in a tavern. Say 'Hi', introduce yourselves, and let's bash some orc heads!", etc. From five groups, we formed two. Now we just need to get in touch, and hopefully it will work out. *cough* Karthan *cough*
Pace - I agree the game was a little on the slow side. However, there are two side to each coin. GM has school duties, as mentioned earlier in discussion. I would never try to put a game on priority when compared to anything happening in real life - well, when I say anything, I really mean I would absolutely put some things under the game in my priority list, but school is not one of those things. On the other hand, I -personally- went completely off the grid for like two weeks during holiday season. I do apologse for holding you back, if that were the case. But as I said, the players don't do daily posts either, so if we want to address this, we should look at everyone, not just leinathan.
My first priority as a player, and I have mentioned this multiple times, is to have the party work together first and foremost. Otherwise the GM has to work on what is essentially two separate campaigns, one of them being a solo campign for Karthan, where he can not do any back and forth with another player character (other than his mercs). I don't know about TarkXT, but -myself- I would find that incredibly dull; play by post, or not.

Well to be fair, I never said "wandering around aimlessly" so addressing any points to something I did not say would be a little pointless.
And I don't think we have, I think we have done well and done a lot, yes we split and that seemed to have caused problems. But the core of the party is in one place and doing things right now.
What I did say, you agree with, is my point about pace. But I agree with your points as well. RL b4 VL. Rl always comes 1st. Still we a Lille pace would help I think we all agree on that.
So that leaves my main point is its simple,
A leg up, some clue to which of the multi-plotlines will give us focus and rope back in the players who split off.
I posted what I posted because I feel now would be a perfect time to get us that line to follow and let us scup up with the other players in the process.
I think what I am saying is, it feels like we are a little off track, and now would be a great time to get us back on it again.
My first priority as a player is to have fun along 'with' others, GM included, I posted with that aim, to aid in that and get us talking, Which we are doing :)

Hey all, I think I'm just gonna call it. I'm sorry, but with my long-running game on a sort of hiatus now, I just don't have the attention span to be checking Paizo. There are too many other things I care about doing. Thanks for showing up and writing with me, though!
