@Eliana -- I did not ask for and don't really require a specific reason. Why not "she was born with super strength and doesn't know why"?
Basic, but it works. I'll just say it manifested alongside the rest of the magic. Moon magic solved all problems! Something else she can try to figure out.

It sounds like vampire metamorphosis is a homebrew buff that you made up and applied to yourself. Is that accurate?
It's a buff in so much as it's a Psionic power favored. And powered by Psionic points just as a spell would be cast and flavored.
The mechanics of it are
Class level feat
-> :Expanded-knowledge [Metamorphosis][Psionic]
Metamorphosis power
-:Metamorphosis 7mins [from feat]
You channel your psionic power, snapping bones and twisting flesh, transforming yourself into a new shape or form. You can take the form of any creature of the same size as yourself, but this is a purely cosmetic change, your abilities, powers or stats do not change beyond the options selected below. This grants you a +10 bonus on Disguise skill checks.
Pick 3 choices from Enhancement Menu A. You may not choose the same option twice
+2 enhancement bonus to Strength
+2 enhancement bonus to Dexterity
+2 enhancement bonus to Constitution
You gain 3 choices from Abilities Menu A from minor metamorphosis. You may not choose the same option twice.
- You gain a natural [s]slam/claw/[s]bite (pick one) attack that deals 1d8 damage if Medium.
- You gain a +1 natural armor bonus.
-You gain 5 temporary hit points.
Its a psion-induced change Gm

Dotting for interest. I'm not familiar with the setting, but this sounds very cool. I'm thinking of a pyrokinectist cult leader who considers herself the vessel of a reborn/reincarnated Avacyn (or a vessel for its power). A real fire and brimstone type, who is intending to burn the evil right out of Innistrad. GM, do you think there's space for a concept like this in the game?

Ah, sorry, let me repost the question I had, I think it got lost in my discussion with Storm Dragon, or I missed your answer.

How do you feel about Vigilantes that don't play at all into the dual identity feature? I'm considering that as a replacement for Vampire Hunter, as the social talents Renown and Safe House I think would be very fitting for a theoretically plane famous monster hunter that roams about, never having proper homes but setting up bases among those sympathetic.
But, I don't see him having a Dual Identity, I really just want the social talents to mechanically represent those ideas. So I'm wondering if I can just forfeit all the benefits of Dual Identity and Seamless Guise, and we just count him as always in his Social Identity? With me never taking level 2 to get Vigilante Talents, the only thing I'm losing out on is +4 to Intimidate which is fine with me.

You got it GM, and when she changes to feed mode, V that power, she looks like THIS

@Fighting Chicken -- That sounds great!
Ok, I'll move forward with this concept then. Like TarkXT, I'd like to take Leadership as a 7th level feat to mechanically reflect her cult. I'd also like to spend her some of her starting equipment on a cult hideout. Would it be best to use the GP values in Ultimate Campaign for various rooms and assemble the hideout from those rooms? I'm not so interested in running the downtime rules in their totality, though that would be an option if you'd prefer.

Slowly getting there with this one. I am filling the profile with background entries as I write them down.
Question on the initial gold, however. Leinathan, can we use some of the gold on spell research? Ie buying scrolls to learn? If so, do you have any limits on the distribution between gear and other stuff? I am taking craft wondrous items, and plan on making a headband with it, but I was wondering about expanding the spell repertoire as well. Thoughts?

Alright, I did put some effort into the backstory, and I realised I am writing a damn novel. I absolutely will not be able to have the extended version finished by Monday, since I have plans for the weekend. With that said, I did write up a summary (4 pages, sorry) available in the character profile.
If that works for you, I will have a full stat block (her and the familiar), and the whole shebang up by Monday evening. The crunch part, that is.
As I said, the extended backstory will take a while, but the scaffolding is available at this point.
Ps if you find any issues in the text (typos, editing, possibly grammar), note it was written very fast and I will review later.

Right. So I will onyl be able to keep the summary in the actual character profile. I am already over the character limit for that page. The summary works for now, and I will finish the full backstory in a separate document which I will link if needed.
All I need now is to set up the gear and the profile is complete.

Hey all! It seems that submissions have slowed and stopped, and a few people have dropped. I wanted to drop in to say that I need to check and see if anyone has anything they need to adjust. I may just need an extra day to get my notes together. I will open up more threads and invite people to them soon!

Hey all! I'm very sorry for the days-long wait. I meant to come back earlier this week, but I simply could not muster the energy to put down anything comprehensible on the paper. I'm moving to a new town, and there's been lots of things that are on my mind lately. Makes it hard to focus on secondary priorities.
Anyway, my stance on the recruitment is this:
If you've finished a character all the way, you can join the game. As far as I can tell, that means Isabela, Taime, Karthan, Eliana, and Li'omrut.
I've opened a Discussion thread, and I will open a Gameplay thread so that we can all keep up on our Campaign pages together.
