F3b and F3c had cultist archers lying in ambush for anyone moving through F3a, but these got drawn into the massive fight you had after killing Staunton. Both F3b and F3c have an arrow slit point towards area F2, and while your party isnt strongest at ranged combat, you can certainly have a look through the slits
The door between F2 and F1 is currently closed. You do not see any enemies in the F2 area. You see 8 statues of winged humanoids, depicting fallen angels in the process of turning into fiends, shedding their angelic feathers to unveil bat wings beneath, and tearing of angel-like face masks of serenity to reveil leering fiendish faces.
Did one of the statues just twitch?

Are those stairs though? Inquiring minds want to know

The shooting slits from F3b and F3C are on a level with F2. The areas north of F3b and south of F3C are lower however. The 4 Ballista emplacements surrounding F1 are higher, but due to you likley approaching from F2 they do not have line of sight on you. F2 obviously has a ceiling. Enemies from F1 could assail you with ranged weaponry from there, but the door between F2 and F1 is currently closed. From the distance, it is not possible to make out if it is locked, barricaded or easily openable.

Verene Tanaquil |

Oh, so if I'm understanding it right and there are stairs such that F3c and F3b are kind of closed rooms looking into F3a/F1/F2 with just arrow slits out, so they are protected from anything coming into F3a, Verene will definitely go up to F3c and both look through the arrow slits toward F1/F2 and stay up there for the battle. No further spells to cast, though she will re-up her shield wand for 35/50 charges remaining. Anyone else (like Thesius or Wulfric) want to stay on the backline for the battle guaranteed?
Verene Perception, heightened awareness, heroism, tears to wine: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 21
Thamyris Perception, tears to wine: 1d20 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 16 + 2 = 27
Verene and Thamyris peer out the arrow slits from the room on the side of the main entry hall, and her spell-whisper comes to everyone. "No obvious enemies in the neck, but there are winged statues shaped like fallen angels. Be wary if you must pass them: they could be more gargoyles like the ones that attacked us yesterday. I cannot see inside the barbican yet as the doors are closed. Ready when you are." Thamyris merges with her again.

"Got it." Merixia looks at Azira and Elliot and nods, drawing her sword. Much as she longs to be the first to the enemy, hard experience has taught all of them that it's better for the healer not to do that.
If my current buffs are still active, I'm good to go.

This happens at the same time as the other "vision spoilers"
You blade speaks in your mind
Elliot? I feel, no I felt, a... familiar presence... for a moment it was there, then it wasnt? Or was hidden by something?
She she... killed one of my previous wielders, but not the one directly before you. No, someone I dont want to remember wielding me... wait...
I am not sure, I was wielded by someone I dont want to remember, and my memory prior to that one is... very very clouded. I dont know if she killed the one I dont want to remember, or someone prior to that.
You feel your blades... shame? Guilt?
But you will never be like that, you will never make me want to forget you right? Right?
There is both hope and fear in your blades emotion, you almost think it needs a hug.
