I thought I'd remind everyone of some of the nice items available from the last battle.

Duncan has claimed the curve blade and a taclash, but he can't use the armor upgrade until he can get some light armor with an upgrade slot. He can't use the assault rifle.

Anyone could use the motion detection badge. Duncan might be the one to wear it, since he's the gadgeteer. It can be useful in detecting enemies advancing.

Things will get underway once again tomorrow night. I was travelling today, and just ran out of time to start posting again.

There is an opening in another Starfinder Society PBP game just starting. It is the The First Mandate. The GM is therealthom. The campaign name is Opening the Scoured Stars Chapter 1. The plan is to go through a series of the early Scoured Stars modules. Most PCs at present are 3rd level, I think.

Questiion: Would it be possible to reverse-engineer a holder(or implant) for the Aeon Stone, using the Azlanti design? Having an item floating around your head seems distracting.

@ Me'Mori: I would have no problem with that happening. I'll try to think of a reasonable cost for such an apparatus. You'd also need an appropriate engineering check.

Duncan has high engineering skills if you need it for the stone.

I'm experiencing a similar crush of work of late. Tuesday through Thursday will be very busy for the next four weeks.

To clarify -- is this a swarm attack?

I'm trying to figure out what Thak can do other than shout supportive words to give people back their stamina.

He has no weapons that can deal with swarms. :(

It is not a swarm attack. Each of those enemies shown on the map is an individual insect, categorized as a tiny animal.

You'll soon know these as "Odheos." This seems like a word that is very fun to say.

Odheos sounds like a breakfast cereal. :)

Thanks for the clarification -- and yes, "odheos" sounds strange... like some sort of Greek seaweed cookie.

With the slowdown in posting (mostly my fault), I forgot that Chiaiese has left us.

I'll remove her from the initiative order next time I post.

Meanwhile, it's also been a while since we have seen a post from Sevens. Perhaps I'll send out a PM and see we can get him to take a look here and make a post.

I feel like I am getting back into the groove with all of my games. I do have one game ending relatively soon (maybe another couple of months).

The only hiccup I anticipate is Gencon in about a week. That will end my posting for about a week starting next Tuesday.

I forgot that Chiaiese left too.

Sevens -- Are you going to move into melee combat or keep shooting? if you're coming into melee, I'll keep moving north toward Duncan. If you're shooting, I'll move back to the left so Yoro has a flanking bonus.

Yoro -- Sorry to inadvertently mess up your flanking position. I was focused on giving Sevens a clear shot.

Thak -- Don't worry about it! No apologies are necessary. Combat is complex and dynamic, just like fights in real life. In addition, Yoromishtali could have communicated his desire for flanking. Thak isn't a mind-reader.

Doesn't look like any of the aliases associated with Sevens' player have posted for months. I think we may have lost this PC.

Dangit... that's too bad.

Thak will lead a moment of silence for our lost comrade after the battle.

Yoro -- Thanks. Depending on what GM Q does with Sevens, Thak will adjust and see he we can get flanking going again.

I think I will have Sevens at least finish this combat. After that, I'm not sure.

I attended back when it was in Geneva, WI and I was an undergrad at Purdue.
