Day Job (Heal): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 20 = 21

Botting Zafira momentarily. I'm curious: has anyone contacted the player to see what's going on?

I will be traveling next week, returning Aug 23.

To be honest, those psychementals are really annoying. There's really no way to damage them properly: usually incorporeal is reserved for undead, which is balanced by the cleric's ability to damage them directly with channel energy.
These guys, however, are not even undead AND their main attack seems to be a way to heal themselves. There's really no point to have this monster around other than delaying the end of the combat by another 3 weeks or so.
Bad module design I think. The author was trying to be clever here and increase the challenge level, but these things are just a pointless speed bump. If I understand correctly, the main boss was the plant yes? I wonder if these things should be scattering by now?

GM Nowruz |

Yeaah! Completely agree!
These things are going on my nerves, too. See below for morale. They also have a lot of hit points. :-(
Here their main ability:
Defensive Abilities incorporeal; SR 19
Melee incorporeal touch +16 (mindwipe)
Special Attacks mass erasure (DC 19), mindwipe (DC 18)
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Mass Erasure (Su) As a full-round action, a psychemental can
move up to its speed and attack each creature whose space it
passes through with its mindwipe ability. A target can make
an attack of opportunity against the psychemental or forgo its
attack of opportunity to instead attempt a DC 19 Reflex save to
evade the psychemental. A psychemental can affect each target
only once per round, no matter how many times its movement
takes it through a target creature’s space, and it can’t end its
move inside a creature. The save DC is Dexterity-based.
Mindwipe (Su) A psychemental can erase a portion of the mind
and experiences of a creature it touches, affecting the creature
as mindwipeOA (CL 11th, Will DC 18 negates). Each successful
mindwipe heals the psychemental of 10 points of damage.
It gains any healing in excess of its maximum hit points as
temporary hit points for 1 hour, though such temporary hit
points do not stack. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Morale PSYCHEMENTALS: The psychementals serve the etheroot. They cannot be
reasoned with and fight to the death.
~
During Combat PSYCHEMENTALS: The psychementals focus their attacks on
creatures attacking the etheroot from range, primarily using
their mass erasure and mindwipe special attacks to inflict
negative levels. If mindwipe proves ineffective against some
PCs, they switch to using their ego whip I and mind thrust III
psychic spells on those ones. If the etheroot is not in immediate
danger, they use their mind probes to gather information for
the etheroot to use in its attempts to manipulate the PCs.

Well... the etheroot is dead, right? so... up to you as to what these things feel like doing with their newfound freedom. Retirement? a nice ski trip to the Astral Plane? lol
Also, have they been summoned to this plane, or are they native to it?? because dispel magic could send them back...
As a GM, if you insist on keeping this fight going, our only option could be to flee at this point since our party doesn't seem to be equipped to deal with it and the martial characters in our party are unable to deal the massive damage required to overcome their incorporeal/healing combo (super annoying design: only a barbarian or dmg-based fighter could really make a dent here... ALL the classes that use precision: rogue, slayer, investigator, swashbuckler, etc. are all out luck!)
If our characters flee now, was killing the plant enough to make things right at the village?

GM Nowruz |

Hmmm ... the scenario says.
N Small outsider (extraplanar, incorporeal)
"The etheroot has several loyal servitors, which are gifts from Aslynn to help protect it."
So not summoned. I will not send them to a Ski Trip! ;-)
But you are doing well! And they are not going to be here for long with Zafira up and awake now!

Ok that's good to hear! there's just so much I can do offensively as a cleric... ;)

Enora 7 pre-gen |

Let's hope Enora can kill the blue one with the scorching rays.
(They don't also have high touch AC, do they? Their penalty applies to touch, too, right?)
If it’s somehow still alive we should probably run...
