GM Spazmodeus |

Hey guys,
Been a bit busy so I've had to put off the PMs . I've added a bit of an intro to the campaign tab, to set the scene.
Also added a link to a guide to Diamond Lake, narrated by one of the locals.
And added a map of Diamond Lake.
As I get my s*$! together, one of the things I would have asked for each of you to add 2-3 ( or as many as you'd like) NPCs that your character has interacted with , in Diamond Lake or elsewhere.
For some of you, that will have been the total that I'd have asked for in a PM.
Thanks
Al

Nym Phiren |

Added some Diamond lake contacts to my profile.
So I was looking through our team and we got:
• An outcast kobold pretending to be gnome.
• A half-orc murderer and deserter(?).
• An elven 'recovering' junky
• A dwarven mining company enforcer.
• An elven nature warden.
• A dwarven law bringer.
Do we become heroes, or antiheroes? This party could really end up going either way here.

Krios Dinrulsis |

I see us as the heroes the world is stuck with. I feel that, and correct me if I'm wrong, but most of our characters have dealt with mortal evils; greed, jealousy, vengeance, etc.. I feel that characters start to really turn towards good when confronted with terrible evils such as those that are awakening in the Age of Worms.
I can see a lot of our characters could go onto the path of "trying" to be better.

Reknar Heldergast |

Added some specific acquaintances to Reknar's profile. GM Spazmodeus let me know if the below is acceptable.
Luzarne Parrin (from the Retired Goon trait) – He has worked (and maybe still does?) for her. Reknar hates bullies, and right after arriving back at Diamond Lake he got into a scuffle with some of Smenk's goons. Luzarne saw it, a nd decided to offer him a job, which he accepted without much hesitation - not for some sense of duty, but because he needed money.
Other acquaintances:
The Garrison - Captain Tolliver Trask. The Captain was already around when Reknar was imprisoned. He knew the boy mostly from afar, but something made him intercede. It was thanks to him that Reknar was given a chance to serve a shorter sentence in the army. Now that the half-orc is back in town, they have crossed paths more than once but have not exchanged words yet.
The Captain’s Blade - Tyorl Ebberly. Reknar works part time with Tyorl. He knows his way around a forge, so he has a verbal agreement with Tyorl, and comes in every once in a while to lend a hand. Seems like a good enough deal for all parties involved - Tyorl gets a strong arm assisting him for a small pay, or a choice of a simple weapon or accessory here and there. Reknar enjoys the physical labour - sometimes it helps him to think, others it simply allows him to think about nothing at all except the task at hand.
Will finish populating the alias with the character profile in a few.

Avion Flintheart |

Avion Flintheart is a very disagreeable individual, who acts extremely mercenary and has no compunction about eavesdropping, blackmail, intimidation, or violence.
Think James Spader's character Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist show.
As such, he has a professional relationship with most of the movers and shakers in town, but most people know to keep him at arm's length. All that being said, he has a pair of acquaintances who he treats a bit nicer than most.
Sally Stoutbrew, a dwarven lady of the night, who works at the Emporium. She is almost certainly using Avion for information and coin, but her dwarvish reminds him of his home in the mountains and she shares what she hears for coin just as readily.
George du Lac a Taldane page or squire who ran away from his master's house several years ago, and only hints at the depredations he suffered in their service. He fell into caring for horses and tack at the Carriage House, but keeps his ears open and his mouth shut. Avion routinely visits the business for trading as well as information gathering, and George is happy to share what he knows for the right price.

Shadoo Mortimer |

Hi guys! Posting it on all my pbps.
Our offshore team at work is very affected by the pandemic at the moment and with the fiscal year approaching to an end, our reduced capacity is terribly affecting my time. For the next several weeks it will likely impact me in such way that I simply won't be able to keep up with the forums, things normalizing only as we start approaching mid June.
For the games where I play, GMs please feel free to bot the characters. If you don't desire to bot me for so long, I completely understand, apologize for the late notice and wish you all the best of fun. If you hold me around, though, I should be back after this storm.
For the games where I host, my sincerest apologies to the players - I won't let you hanging so if you stick around until my return we will give it continuation as normal. Otherwise, please message me and once I'm back I'll recruit replacements.
To everybody, I'm sorry for the late notice and I hope we will continue playing together once I'm back!
Cheers,
Archlich

Since Kib put down his dot, Reknar will take it. Tough!
Without wanting to be gruff or unpleasant, I am going to echo Kib on this one - Spazmodeus, any idea when we will be able to move forward?
If after all you have come to the conclusion that running this game is not possible, it is all good - we all know how hard it is to run one game, let alone multiple ones.
Let us know.
Cheers!
