Craig is able to sneak over under this device with no problem but the technology idea he had seems beyond his grasp here

Kaydee slides under the camera fairly easily, joining Craig. She looks at the other kindred and shrugs. Perhaps they don't need to disable the camera at all.

"The two of us should probably go on ahead," Kaydee whispers to Craig. "That guy," she motions toward Kent with her head, "will just have to figure out how to make himself useful."

You move ahead and are able to disable the camera from below when you reach it. As Ben flops back and forth you know you will need a key for the pent house that the guards would have.


”Ok, enough of this” - Triel passes right by the guard that keeps staring at her, and just throws a haymaker at the second one, trying to take him out - ”We are just wasting time” - she growls.

My memory eludes me on this one GM Ring of Gold - any cheat sheet you can point me to, for the attack? What to roll to hit, damage, and such? Triel is just trying to knock him out. Thanks!

No roll for damage, right?

You roll STR+attack successes then add that to weapon damage (if you're using a weapon) and i you might have to spend blood to add potency (i don't remember), but you don't have to roll potency, it counts as free successes.

correct it's one blood to activate potency, then spend a point in str just for fun. You have two successes to hit + str + pot for damage

Kaydee grins as Triel decks one of the guards. "Get it, girl!" she says.

"We need their keys by the way."


So... What was the effect of the punch? :D


The guard reels and flops on the ground and the second guard looks down at Ben suddenly speaking and says hey just take my keys and don't hurt us. I won't say anything I promise and he holds up the keys and backs away from Ben like he was the plague.

You still have to roll the damage. That looks like two successes for your attack roll and you have 3 dots in strength, so you need to roll 5d10 and add 1 success for potency if you spend the blood. Also, you're 9th generation, so you can also spend another blood point this turn to pump your strength and roll an extra d10. Total successes is the bashing damage your target is trying to soak.

Triel grabs the keys, and throws them to Kaydee, then moves to restrain the conscious guard - "Just behave, and everything will be fine - we have nothing against you"

Triel wants to move him out of view of the cameras, disarm, restrain and gag him.

"Do we know where these images are being recorded? We will need those tapes" - she adds to her companions.

Kaydee catches the keys and makes for the elevator. They've been a little less subtle than she'd have liked, but that just made things more exciting.


"Do you know where the surveillance tapes are kept?" - she growls while tying up the guard.


The guard gets tied up and says hey the guard room is down a floor and in front of the bathrooms and the tapes are in there


"Good boy" - Triel winked at the guard and gagged them, then joined the others.

"Down a floor, in front of the bathrooms - let's go"

Craig follows, "Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggy, while reaching for a rock"


Old Ben is still laying on the floor when the group says let's go and leaves the guards tied up and gagged while going down stairs.


And what do we find downstairs? :)


When the group moves downstairs they find the security room as described and after trying the key finds the office opened and a small desk with a VCR connected to some wires.

Ben shrugs and sits with the guards. "Sorry. If it makes you feel any better at least she didn't snap his neck."


Triel checks the equipment, intent on removing all recordings of their presence.

You erase the tapes of your time and make sure no new tape is made by leaving it empty. Where to now?


Triel actually wants to grab the erased tapes also ;)

"That's done - time to get up to the penthouse and take a looksee" - she smiles at the others - "There was an elevator right? I say we send the elevator up, but use the stairs, just in case" - she suggests.

You make your way up the stairs at an even pace without breathing it's a quick trip and you come to a locked stairwell door.

"Ok, let me have a look at this..." - Triel rubs her hands.

Locked Door DC7: 3d10 ⇒ (9, 9, 3) = 21

Continues to sit and amicably talk with the guards about the weather.


You easily find the correct key and unlock the stairs with the master hex key and make your way into the penthouse area coming as you do to a pair of ornate walnut doors with stained glass on either side.


Triel peers through the glass first, then checks if the doors are open by any chance.

Triel, you don't seem to see anything out of the ordinary or troublesome.

Craig:
Craig, you hear something on the far side of the door... A shotgun racking very slowly with the auspex and then you see... Something more and else you see two hawks fighting over a field and below you see a flag with thirteen stars and a flag with blue and red crossing below with men in battle with muskets and then you find yourself back in the hallway in only a moment

Craig's eyes widen for a moment, then dance as if he were watching rapid movement before him, like a man watching ripples from small stones thrown into a pond's surface.

He motions the others to be careful, and and mouths , rather than whispers, away from the door where his peers can see it 'Shotgun on far side of the door, being readied'

The American REvolution? A grudge between kindred started then?


Could we have a headcount? I would like to make the game move forward, but Triel is not stupid. Benjamin is not there, and I have not seen any other posts apart from me or Craig since the 22nd October. I guess my question is, how many of us are here (and in the game)?


I am VERY rusty as far as WoD combat goes, but:

Drawing both her Desert Eagles, Triel winked at Craig - "Just say when"

Not sure what kind of armor would make sense we could have, but Triel has a leather jacket and that is about it :P

"I'm sure you have some fight in you" - Triel laughed at Craig, then moving also to the side, she shouted at whomever was inside - "We have no quarrel here! We only want to take a look around at the behest of our.... Employer. Can we make this civil?!"
