I should also note that this week has left me exhausted, demoralized, and without much enthusiasm for life, and none of that has anything to do with this experiment except in as much as it the effects it has on my contributions.
I've read Interface Zero and Sprawlrunners.
Interface Zero is very gear focused and does a great job of that.
Sprawlrunners is more descriptive. An initiative bonus might be from training or cybergear or magic, but it has the same effects.
In that way, it mimics some of the design philosphy of M&M, which is probably my favorite system, so I find that appealing.

Ah! Well then tally frickin' ho!
Take some me-time this weekend, drink heavily, and see how thy muse moves you.
I'll think of you and tip a banana rum in thy honor! (Hey, they make banana rum now!!1!)

Hope you haven't made the final decision about pulling the plug on this game; I was really looking forward to being able to explore this group of characters. Seems like there would be a really interesting mix here.
We're you to simply manage the story aspect of the game and post the stats of the enemies, I think it might actually be pretty easy to open-source the gming mechanics.

Honestly, I think the play-test got you off on the wrong foot. Besides all the RIFTS-mega-everything, you had to suddenly deal with vehicle rules, missile rules, etc. etc.
A normal RIFTS encounter doesn't usually (or at least, have to) include all that extra baggage.
I too hope to see what this PC can do (I spent a *lot* of time creating her), and I had even thought of the out-sourcing the DM'ing of the game mechanics idea before I saw Rigor mention it. Would you consider that?
But if you look over SW Sprawlrunners and find it appeals to you, I'd rather run in any game than none at all.
However, be aware that Sprawlrunners is a "toolkit" (just rules), not a "setting" (a description of the world, its history and its creatures, etc.). So if you go with that you'll have to provide the world and its background yourself. You can always use the creatures in SWADE core rules.

I understand perfectly. This group does seem to make use of pretty much every rule in the books. I mean, i'm used to the Juicer being one of the biggest badasses in the group. :)
If you decide to move on to something a little simpler, let me know. I'd probably be up for it.
I did the kickstarter for Interface Zero and gave it a (mostly) read through. Seems interesting. Also seems rather deadly. :)

Did you do the heavy drinking thing? Highly recommend.
Right now I'm on a green-banana shake kick. The book "Plant Paradox" says that we can't digest the immature sugars in green bananas.
I'm experimenting with adding a bunch of different things, but I'm sure that banana rum would go with it pretty well. XD
Or you could make it an Arnold and 'sumtimes put in da schnapps."

Full Disclosure:
This process and 2021 in general are not going as planned. It has been a 6 weeks professionally, personally, and with regards to mental and physical health.
I went into this thinking it would be a fun distraction, and it has instead resulted in a lot of work. I'm still working, and I will eventually get something going here if you guys want to stick around. I will, of course, understand if you move on to other pastures.

I PM'd the GM a few days ago, who's currently active (and GM'ing) in several other games, and asked if he'd be re-starting this one anytime soon. No reply yet, but in one of his other games he said the end of May was really stressful, so he may need some time to recover.
