@GM you missed Buddy in the skitters affected by the grenade, was that on purpose?
Buddy slowly moves through the sticky floor, fighting the odd substance with every step. Moving by 3 squares . But then he keeps going to move aside of the scientist and raises his cannon Using hyper for 2nd move
Attack vs KAC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage, p&c: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Szama's robes begin to burn, but she pushes through the panic and fires her hail pistol at the jinsul leader.
Hail pistol: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Damage (C&P): 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

@Buddy sadly the blast wasn't big enough to catch everyone
Szama, Buddy, and Mujina pile on the attacks - but none of them manage to tag the jinsul or get through its armour - it weathers their storm!

Reflex save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
The napalm that gets on Joe's armor seems to be unnaturally thick, causing the burning sensation that Joe particularly doesn't enjoy.
1 fire damage, and 3 burn....and will have to roll next round to see if continuing to burn
She does her best however to help her friends....by shooting the Jinsul
Caustolance, Liquidator (EAC): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Damage (Acid): 1d6 ⇒ 3 + a inhibitor that will mak the Jinsul take a -2 to AC for 8 rounds
That is if I can ever roll above a 10.......sigh....
Once again, the shifting bodies that are the skitters, along with the weird 'prancing' movement that a spider like tick body that is the Jinsul does throws off Joe's aim again.

Szama moves up through the sludge of the jinsul's sticky grenade and lifts the heavy vector graviton pistol the group had collected in Millie's room. As she aims, she speaks to the outpost's leader, "You should get out of here, nufriend! Here! I'll give you a bit more room to move without running into that nasty old jinsul!"
V Graviton: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 If that hits, DC15 Reflex save or the enemy is moved 15ft away, or until it hits the computer terminals, whichever comes first.

"Haha yeah...I may have thought you were one of these jerkholes here. Almost whipped ya!" Mujina adds hoping the crew member will flee but he is quickly assaulted by the space-tick.
"Yugh! Why always me?" he says before flicking his taclash up as he infuses it with energy.
Move: Entropic Pool.
Standard: Attack.
Entropic Strike via Taclash versus EAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage (B & A): 1d3 + 3 + 1d3 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (2) = 8

Ayoka draws her weapon and tries to shoot the oversized tick with a Tactical Laser Bolter
v EAC: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 E&F: 1d10 ⇒ 9

Buddy takes a step closer and shoots the Jinsul from a relatively close range...
Attack vs KAC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Damage, p&c: 1d8 ⇒ 2
But the shot hits the ceiling
"Hold on Mujina!"

Joe continues to burn Takes 3 damage (rolled previously).DC 13 Ref to stop
Reflex to stop burning: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
The fiery napalm burns out....leaving Joe's suit a bit singed.
Looking at Mujina, Joe sees that his armor is starting to crack....
[b]"Mujina, keep him pinned....This might help!]/ooc]
Joe uses her needler pistol to tag Mujina in the back shoulder with a enhancement.
Mujina, get +1 to AC for 5 rounds...
Standard to shoot Mujina, move forward.

Squizzer manages to crack out a final round that puts the creature out of commission!

Dr Ordez thanks you profusely for the rescue "That Jinsul, Kkevorak, told me more jinsul ships were on the way to extract his squad; I believe the best course of action is to temporarily abandon the outpost until the threat can be properly ascertained"
Using the outpost’s plentiful resources, your group and the research team get their starship in working order and able to depart.
Final actions?

Szama helps with plotting a quick course out of the outpost.
Piloting: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Mujina works to make sure the jinsul bodies are "secure".
"This guy doesn't trust those things...ever hear story of Deceased Space? Dead things never dead!" he says shivering while he wraps cables around them before hauling them into storage.

Grabbing Millie and all the important items the scientists load their ship - your excellent piloting expertise and engineering skills get things moving quickly.
The scientists ship had been pretty well sabotaged by Bhennie their engineer - who appears to have turned the ship into a large bomb - clearly set on having the jinsul blast into space in a way they weren't planning on.
After you return to Absalom Station and make your report, you receive their promised complimentary meal from Venture-Captain Arvin.
Jadnura thanks you for the information you share with him about the outpost team’s research concerning the starship fragments.
A few weeks later, you receive a follow-up message from Arvin.
“I hope this finds you well. Thank you again for your efforts to save your fellow Starfinders. I know it wasn’t the mission you originally signed on for, but your heroism never goes unnoticed"
“I’m writing to update you concerning the events at Outpost 634. The Society sent three starships to reclaim the outpost after your return, but their efforts were unnecessary in the end. All subsequent investigations indicated that the jinsuls never returned. Upon examining the communication equipment the jinsuls used to contact their fleet, we discovered they were attempting to call a vessel located in a system in the Vast where the Drift Beacons have suddenly deactivated. Concerning reports from nearby outposts indicate that this ‘dark space’ is expanding, and the Society is currently preparing for an expedition to investigate the extent of this phenomenon"
“Regards, Arvin”
