Well, this is spiraling out of control!
"Kiboko, we know they wear these masks to protect their identities so they may serve The Society safely." Turning his attention to the stablers, "Truly, we understand your reluctance to share more about your friend. At least tell me this, have you reported Alondais missing to the Lady? She would no doubt wish to know if danger befell any of you."

Zaarah starts to laugh hilariously and holds her mouth.
“You are sooooo incredible!! That thing looked strong! Mesh, did you see that?!?!!!“ she says and looks from Kramac to her black scimitar.
She then gives Flyn a thumbs up.
“Master Flyn! Let’s go!“

GM Hawthwile |

Handout sent!
As the Pathfinders close the door to the hidden library, the doors to the Great Room burst open. "What was that!?" a masked servant asks, looking around frantically for signs of violence. "There was a sound like a whirlwind, and then an earthquake! Did you see what happened?"
What do you do? Don't forget to use a spoiler!

"Let Kiboko give you this warning: Kiboko sees through Mvumbu's eyes.
Fendel, Kiboko is done here."

Mvumbu |

"Kiboko sees through Mvumbu's eyes."
'Haaarrrr!!! Haaaarrrr!!!"
The great she-hippo honks in response to Kiboko's words, and looks at the masked porters pointedly.

Zaarah has a Bluff (Deceive/Lie) mod of +22 while Kramac's Bluff/Intimidate is +15/+18; I fear I'll be little help here as Flyn is -1 on Bluff/Intimidate and only a +3 in Diplomacy...

Zaarah walks to the servant and wraps her arm around him.
“ Yeah, when you were worked as a pathfinder for such a long time you realize that the world is unbelievably difficult to explain! Sounds movements, they are all so much part of our world! Leave the thinking and deciding to us! Everything is in order! We just did some magical experiments!!“ she says grinning.

Kramac adds, Kramac suspects some poor stablehand made Mvumbu unhappy. That hippo can be very loud when unpleased.

At least he's leaving. That should serve to defuse the situation. The detective nods towards the masked workers, "Apologies for disrupting your work. I understand what is at stake here and thank you for your efforts on behalf of the lodge. It seems everyone is on edge." Fendel departs, catching up to the hunter. "Forgive me friend, but I have never seen you so upset, not even in combat. What has enflamed your emotions so?"

![]() |

Kiboko pauses, looking back towards the stables. He casts a Longstrider spell upon himself, in case he should need to return to Mvumbu swiftly.
"Galt is a festering sore because of people like those two! But they do not see it, or cannot admit it. Weaklings, responsible for their own misery! They should get out of the city and live in the wild places, surviving by their own wits and strength. Then they would know virtue. Then they would know fidelity, solidarity. Instead they hide, and bicker, and kill each other over trifles. Fools. Kiboko came close to biting their heads off.
Kiboko has a friend amongst the porters here. Alondais. Kiboko expected to see him at the Lodge, but he is not present. Those two in the stable say he has not reported for duty for two days. But nobody has checked in on him, and they would not tell Kiboko where to look for him! Kiboko fears the Mob already has him, but his supposed colleagues care not at all! It is best that we bring this concern to the Venture Captain now."
Kiboko looks back towards the stable again. His eyes glaze over momentarily.
Kiboko uses the Hunter's Improved Empathic Link to look through Mvumbu's eyes and check upon the whereabouts and activities of the two stablehands.

As the Seekers make their ways back to the Great Room, they are met by squads of masked servants bearing trays of food and drink for themselves and the Venture-Captains. Long flutes of white wine accompany small plates of the finest Galtan cheeses, thin-cut venison, and poached axebeak eggs (which smell slightly of sulfur, but taste delicious).
Go ahead and place yourselves in the Great Room where you'd like to watch the evening's entertainment from.
After several minutes of light conversation, there is a tapping sound from above. “Fellow agents of the Pathfinder Society,” says Osprey from the balcony overlooking the Great Room. “I deliver a message from the Decemvirate. Long have the Ten observed the exploits of Venture-Captain Adril Hestram. Time and again he has served the Society well, from his own adventures in the Mwangi Expanse to the many activities conducted by agents under his guidance.”
Osprey’s scratchy voice pauses for a moment and he leers out at the people below. His high brow casts his dark eyes in shadow, giving him an ominous visage. He gestures to the Seekers. “That is where you come in. For tonight we celebrate the Talespinning Ceremony, and our ritual begins with each of you standing where I stand and regaling us with the story of your greatest victory as a field agent of the Pathfinder Society. We stand tonight to examine the achievements of Venture-Captain Adril Hestram, and your victories speak to his capabilities as a leader and his judgment in selecting the agents for his important missions for the Society. When we have heard from each of you, it will be Adril’s turn. After that, we shall know the way of things, and the way of the future for Adril Hestram, and perhaps also for all of you."
“Now,” he says, his mouth forming a crooked smile. “Who would like to go first?”
Tell us about your greatest victory at any point during your career!

Seeing Kiboko enchant himself, the detective draws a similar wand and invokes its magic to enhance his own speed.
As the servants begin their final preparations, Fendel thinks back a few years prior to the Great Convocation. A dark evening when the Aspis struck during a well established Society event, resulting in the death or injury of many Pathfinders. Better safe than sorry. He quickly consumes the contents of three phials.
False Life: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Active Buffs: False Life (5 hours), Longstrider (1-ish hour), See Invisible (50 minutes), Hieghtened Awareness (50 minutes)
Longstrider may be shorter depending on the difference between casting and the beginning of the ceremony. If combat breaks out, Fendel will dismiss Heightened Awareness for the +4 bonus to initiative. Fendel would try to buff up just before gathering in the hall.
Hearing the invitation to speak, Fendel realizes now what Zarta meant. He unconsciously fingers the scroll tube at his belt. He then thinks back to the horrors he witnessed when he journeyed to Hell a few months ago. I cannot do it. To support such darkness and vengeance is simply beyond what I am willing to give. I feared for my very soul. My conscience will not allow me to condemn others fighting for theirs.
He contemplates how best to present his 'greatest' victory.
I will write up a post about the Scarab Sages capstone 'Salvation of the Sages'. I just don't have time at the moment. If others have a post, go for it.

Flyn nods to his companions, murmuring "I'll go first and get this over with..."
The Elf rises and bows before those present. "Greetings, Flyndyngylyn, at your service; but for those who know me, I go by Flyn, it's easier on the tongue..."
He takes a long sigh and continues. "As I was orphaned early on, and taken in by a kindly Dwarven ranger belonging to the Grand Lodge in Absalom, I grew up highly influenced by the Pathfinder Society. And after coming of age and venturing out on my own, I returned and was offered the privilege of serving as a Pathfinder, as my adoptive father was before me...
"Adril Hestram was the Venture-Captain and Master of the Grand Lodge at that time...and it has been an honor serving under him. He was a big supporter of the Mendevian Crusades and sent me to serve under Jorsal of Lautenbury for a spell...and the tale I'll spin is a mission against the Demons I undertook a few years back in support of said Crusades..."
Flyn clears his throats and begins. "Venture-Captain Jorsal ordered us to assist the crusaders of Mendev on a scouting patrol of the Worldwound’s border. Fort Portolmaeus, one of the border castles protecting the weakening wardstones, had come under increasing demonic attack in the past few days, and Queen Galfrey wished to know if the road between it and the capital is still secure. We were assigned to a decorated veteran named Sir Ilivan, a veteran who had been fighting the demonic incursions for decades...
"On the way to the fort, we came across Demons for the first time; they had accosted several civilians and these vlle vermlek had taken over a couple of their bodies. I had perhaps one of my finest shots, taking out one of the foul beasts from long range with a single cold iron arrow...in short, we killed all the vermlek and rescued the surviving commoners...
"We arrived at Fort Portolmaeus only to find that a larger demonic force had just attacked it, carrying off a number of soldiers as prisoners. Unable to spare any more troops, the garrison’s commander asked us to immediately follow their trail and rescue the captured crusaders from a terrible fate...without hesitation, we agreed..."
Flyn coughs lightly and then continues. "After we overcame some demonic spores, we came over a hill and sighted the missing soldiers; they were guarded by a small group of dretches and a large and ghastly brimorak demon, with a larger force fast approaching from the north. Sir Ilivan volunteered to hold off the reinforcements by himself while ordering us to rescue the soldiers and get them to safety..."
A single tear falls from Flyn's left eye as he recalls Ilivan's sacrifice...but it is soon followed by a shake of the head and chuckle as he recalls what happened next. "We had a giant of a man with us on that mission, Braxxus, if I recall correctly. He feared nothing...the tough bastard didn't hesitate, charging head on with that monster of a mallett he carried, straight at the brimorak...I, as well as the other archer among us, Boh, gave Braxxus cover as he charged. We were able to take out the dretches from a distance before they could harm the hostages, and Braxxus's charge absolutely annihilated the larger demon with but two mighty strokes...
"We hurried down and untied the hostages, carrying those who needed it and looked to the east towards Sir Ilivan...we hesitated for just a moment, contemplating going after him...but alas, the horde was too vast and the soldiers were too weak to put up any kind of fight. We followed our orders, barely escaping the horde, and made our way back to the fort with all the freed crusaders. Sir Ilivan's sacrifice was not in vain...."
Flyn goes silent and bows his head in reverence to Sir Ilivan's memory. He then bows to the audience and moves towards the back of the Great room...
GM: As for our placement in the Great room, are there any limits? Flyn would prefer to be somewhere so he can keep an eye on everyone, preferably the balcony if allowed...

"Wow! You are really a good man, master Flyn!" she says impressed.
Zaarah then looks a little surprised that she is supposed to answer such a question as well.
"Me? Well, ehh, I am really not good at talking so let me get my notes. Oh, ehh, Mesh, where did I put those?" and she starts fishing for her notebook.
"Ahh, here. So listen! Uhhhh ...." she makes a strange sound that is supposed to be scary.
"For a millennium, Golarion rested safe in the knowledge that history's most infamous lich, the Whispering Tyrant, was securely locked away. After a cataclysmic explosion sundered his prison, the Tyrant roamed free once more. But he didn’t simply abandon his prison. Deep beneath the ground, behind nearly impenetrable magical wards, he set in motion a necromantic ritual of extraordinary power!!" she says with a slow and a little crazy voice.
"I was one of the Pathfinders that battled the Tyrant's guardians, broke the wards, and stopped the ritual that could make him unstoppable! Along the way I discovered what secrets the Tyrant wanted to protect and kept those from falling into our enemies' hands!"
She claps on her own shoulders.
"Many died but I did not and to be honest even Mesh was a little proud of me after this mission!" she says with a grin.

Kiboko, satisfied that the stable-hands are merely that and no match for Mvumbu in any event, rises to speak his part.
"Kiboko is not an orator. Kiboko is a warrior. But Kiboko will tell of his most dangerous mission, which took place in Absalom; for a city is more deadly than any wild place in this world. Osprey sent Kiboko and Mvumbu to a meeting at Cayden's Hall" Kiboko waves an arm to indicate the wild-looking senior agent.
"There were small battles along the way - imagine trying to stop Mvumbu from entering a place! - but the problem at hand concerned demons and possession. Kiboko and the other agents entered the dreamscape of a possessed priest. Alas, Mvumbu could not join us in that realm, or the fight would have been much shorter. A powerful primordial demon held sway there, and even as a great hippopotamus it was all Kiboko could do to hold him off until Osprey and his demonologist ally could complete their task.
With new information, Kiboko and the other agents entered a hidden crypt. Mvumbu had to be shrunk by Kiboko's magic in order to get inside" the massive half orc shakes his head in disapproval.
"After fighting several lesser demons we came upon the greatest foe, and perhaps it was the strongest enemy Kiboko has ever faced! The cowardly glabrezu hovered over a bottomless chasm within a cloud of poisonous gas, meaning to use its greater reach and its magic to destroy us! But Kiboko outwitted it! With his own magic Kiboko gave himself and Mvumbu the power to scale the walls of the demon's lair, and this brought us within reach of the enemy. With sword and tusk we fought him, and with our combined might we bested him!
Now we have free beer in Cayden's Hall whenever we desire!
Kiboko wishes that they would relocate the Hall outside of the damned city though."
With that Kiboko takes his seat again.

Haha! It seems Demons are the greatest foe of the Pathfinder society, as my tale of victory is also about defeating those fiends! And Flynn and Zaarah were along as well!
We were tasked by the society with persuading the Elves of Kyonin to aid the Mendevian Crusade. They had made promises, but had yet to fulfill them. General Tenasi of the elves was initially reluctant to give any aid - his homeland was beset on all sides and he was unable to spare any aid. After some negotiations, he told us of a group of demon slayers who had made a journey into the Tanglebriar, and had not been heard back from them. He promised that if we could recover his troops, he would be able to lend the aid we requested.
A mighty Elven wizard teleported us to their last known location - and the mission wasted no time before getting interesting! A truly enormous centipede crashed through the forest and attacked! Kramac wasted no time engaging the creature, savaging it with a brutal series of strikes. Kramac was surprised to find himself being peppered with arrows from behind! It was the Uprooters! Fortune was with us, except that the Uprooters thought we were demonic illusions!
One of our party, Quenly, was able to persuade them of our authenticity and they turned their bows on the centipede. However, a dozen of their archers paled in comparison to just Flynn! His arrows raked over the creature! Seeing a buffet of elves only a few feet away, the creature attempted to crush Kramac and his companions as it charged forward. Kramac stood fast and continued his assault. Legs were flying left and right, Kramac was covered in ichor, but at the end of it, the beast fell.
The Uprooters told us their leader was still missing and entreated us to find him. Kramac is never one to leave a man behind, so we set out immediately! It was a long hard journey through a twisted demonic forest. We faced many enemies - a pair of babau demons, who were easily dispatched after Zaarah put them to sleep. And a friend too, a Saytr who was holding out. Trying to save his forest. He was a noble creature, and Kramac hopes his cause is not lost.
Finally we came to a blasted swamp with demonic cocoons. It was the area the uprooters told us to look for. We were beset by a motley collection of leeches and other swamp creatures, which Flynn dispatched with great efficiency. Kramac began approaching the cocoons to free the occupants, but was accosted by a foul demon Hezrou that was hiding in the swamp! Kramac steeled himself for a vicious battle ahead. As he was about to engage the demon... when Zaarah made it fall asleep. And then Kramac chopped its head off. Huh... maybe Kramac should have picked a story with a more exciting ending. But we're too far into it now! With that, Kramac sliced open the remaining cocoons and rescued Lanverel!
There you have it! A thrilling tale of Kramac's Process, Flynn's accuracy, and how if you are planning on fighting Zaarah, you should get a good nights sleep beforehand!

Fendel makes his way to the podium. "First, allow me to state how humbles I am to be in the company of such fine and seasoned agents. I doubt my story will hold a candle to your experiences in the field. Just over a year ago, I was dispatched to aid the leaders of the Scarab Sages. It seems there was a flaw in one of the sacred gems that needed to be addressed. It held the latent personality of a threat believed to be long dead. Aryana Tahari, an Usij necromancer who served at the court of the Pharaoh of Forgotten Plagues. Known to some as the Black Moon, her skill and wisdom were a dark reflection of the virtues of holy Thoth."
"The real danger was that what they believed to be an anomaly in a single gemstone was actually a stain on all of them. It seems as more Sages claimed a title, the stronger Black Moon's spirit and influence became. WE were to accompany the ranking sage jewel bearers to perform a cleansing ritual at an ancient necropolis. One of those in possession of a jewel was none other than former agent Torch. The fear was that this would prove to be an added complication."
"The team was made up of some of our finest agents, Ariana, Dunia Mbani, Eadie Navhelan, Rufeo, and Quenly. After riding upon the back of a dragon, we arrived at Reza. Already the Sages seemed distracted. However, there was no time to waste. Sensing our arrival through her connection to the jewels, Black Moon sent her forces to ambush us. A veritable army of undead arose as the sands of the desert fell away revealing the lost village that had been buried for millennia. As the battle raged on beneath us, Sinuhotep, the amethyst sage, and I managed to disable the monolith that powered the undead. Indeed, I actually reversed the nature of the interaction, flooding them with positive energy. The resulting 'energetic influx' left much of the opposing force as little more than dust."
"We made our way into the ruins, discovering that the necromancer had been creating a plague to release upon the world, deadlier than has ever existed. Her plan was to then take control of everything slain by her perfected disease. But she did not stop there. She developed something more malicious called Fading Light designed to destroy those who rely on and manipulate magic and force them into her thrall."
"During the ritual, Black Moon rose as a specter and claimed control of the Sages. I lept into the mindscape of Tahonikepsu, the Diamond Sage...and time dragon, in an attempt to free her before she could destroy the team. I then repeated the process on two other Sages, Amenopheus and Padrym. To walk in a reality shaped by a conflicted mind was both alluring and dangerous. Still, their minds were freed, and together the Fallen Sage was defeated and the sage jewels cleansed."
"As to Venture-Captain Hestram, I admit that I have not had the privilage to have worked with him, but I have heard him spoken of highly by those I have served with and respect. It sounds as if he is deserving of the honor he receives this night."
I was able to play with the great GM Hmm! One of the best scenarios I have ever experienced. Happy to share a link for anyone interested in a read through.

@Fendel and @Flyndyngylyn - you'd have to do your buffing before the evening event began. Over the course of speeches and rounds of food and drink, longstrider, see invisibility, heightened awareness, and mage armor have had their durations run out.
Flyndyngylyn, first into the fray, bounds up the carpeted staircase to stand at the balcony and regale the assembled crowd below of his adventures as a junior agent in the cold, inhospitable land of the Worldwound. (Which I can't read in much detail because I'm currently playing that scenario as we speak. XD) As he returns to his seat, the audience applauds politely - with the exception of Adril, who cheers loudly and whistles to express his enthusiasm for the tale.
Servants clear away the finger foods and deliver bowls of chilled cucumber soup to the attendees as Zaarah ascends to the second floor. Her story of the return of the Whispering Tyrant elicits gasps of horror from two of the servers, and Fendel can't help but overhear a bottle smashing on the ground across the hallway as if dropped on the ground in shock. A murmur passes through the silent room before Eliza begins the applause, and the rest of the audience quickly joins in.
Kiboko is the next to speak, looking down at the servers as they clear away the soup bowls and replace them with plates of dark green salad leaves topped with pickled vegetables and candied nuts. He speaks of drinking - which elicits a cheer from Adril - and demons - which elicits another cheer - and strange magics undertaken to free an enslaved mind. Osprey acknowledges his role in the tale with a nod, but little else.
The source of the smell that has been growing stronger and stronger over the course of the day is brought into view as a roast boar is wheeled into the Great Room. Kramac has an excellent view as a pair of chefs deftly carve thin pieces of meat from its flank and pass them to other servants to serve with a dark brown sauce and braised potatoes. The surprising end to the half-orc's tale brings cheers and laughter from the crowd below, and Zaarah finds a large hand clapping her on the shoulder as Adril roars with mirth.
Fendel is last to tell his tale from the balcony, having to wait to sample his chilled cream and fresh mangos until he finishes. He tries to be humble, but the story of his quick thinking and brave actions elicits soft applause that only grows louder as he concludes his speech with a quick bow to Adril. As he descends the stairs and receives his (just) desert from a masked servant, Osprey stands from his comfortable chair in the back corner of the room and clears his throat.
"You have represented yourselves well," he says without any pretense of formality, "and your victories reflect upon the leadership of your venture-captain leaders. Which brings us to the man of honor himself, Adril Hestram." He gestures to the balcony. "Adril, will you please take your place on the balcony? I wonder, after hearing all of this, what you will consider your greatest victory." Osprey flashes a quick glance at Eliza, who furrows her brow and looks to the floor. "And how that victory serves the greater good of the Pathfinder Society."
Adril, beaming with pride, smiles a wide grin beneath his bushy beard as he bounds up the central staircase to the balcony. As he looks at Flyndyngylyn, Zaarah, Kiboko, Kramac, and Fendel in turn, the hulking warrior of a man releases a mirthful chuckle - as if considering a private joke. His bearclaw hands grasp the balcony's railing as he addresses the crowd below.
"I have never stopped adventuring!" he announces loudly. "From my year lost in the Mwangi Expanse a decade ago to my tenure as a venture-captain in Absalom all the way through to today, I've kept looking for new challenges and opportunities in the face of danger that would melt the hearts of ordinary men. And in all that time, I've learned a simple lesson that I'd like to share with you toda-"
What at first seems like a tiny tremor soon erupts into a jerking and heaving cataclysm that shakes the entire room! Adril falls silent, a look of dumb surprise erasing the arrogance and confidence on his weathered face. For a single moment, he looks utterly lost. Then, two enourmous shapes - writhing, living leviathans of bright red chitinous plates - burst through the floor into the back corners of the room. Eliza screams, and the chamber erupts into chaos.
Flyndyngylyn: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Osprey: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

??: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
???: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (17) + 0 = 17
"Pathfinders, to action!" Eliza yells as she races from her seat in the Great Room through the double doors to the hallway outside. "House staff, get to safety! Adril, don't just stand there!" Deftly she weaves magic into a protective ward around herself. Adril, meanwhile, stares down at the chaos erupting below him with a dumbfounded look on his face.
You're not sure what these things are - but as they erupted from the ground, you noticed a small puff a smoke right next to Adril.
These are purple worms! But immature ones, not quite having developed their namesake purple scales of adulthood. Nevertheless, they are still a threat to anything smaller than themselves as they prefer to swallow their prey whole.

Kramac's actions somewhat depend on whether or not he can get Beak to come to him via his empathic link.
Trechery! Why must the evil Aspis always interrupt things!
Kramac will cast Litany of Defense as an swift action, then move to flank the creature with Kiboko (white Kramac position)

Crit Damage, power attack: 2d6 + 18 + 12 ⇒ (6, 5) + 18 + 12 = 41
This will also provoke an AoO from Kiboko, due to us both having outflank. Unfortunately, he does not have paired opportunist as well, which would allow Kramac to go super saiyan.

@Kramac - you can send a feeling through the empathic bond as a free action. While I am certain that Beaky would want to come as soon as possible, it'll take some time for him to get out of the stable and over to the manor proper.
Also, @Kramac - since neither Kramac nor Kiboko have Improved Outflank, you are not actually flanking from your current position. And while you both have Pack Flanking, you are sadly not each other's animal companions. XD
Kramac calls on Kurgess for aid as he moves into position and strikes with his sabre - but the worm's thick scales deflect the wild blow as the half-orc seeks to both defend himself and strike harder. Flyndyngylyn rains down arrows at the beast, two of them sinking deep into its massive open mouth. The worm convulses, and a rush of what can only be stomach acid sprays onto the floor of the Great Room. The worm convulses again, and from its jaws falls a statue of a bird-headed humanoid twice the size of a human.
That looks like a stylized stone golem - like the iron golem from earlier today, its hard body deflects blows from weapons not made of adamantine.
You're not sure what this statue is.
Across the room, the other worm similarly ejects another large statue from its gullet before throwing its head back and slamming into the balcony above. With the crack of wood breaking and groan of metal bending, the balcony collapses into the rooms below!

Fendel instinctively dodges the falling debris, as does Osprey - but a muffled yell from the hallway indicates Eliza and two of her servants were not so lucky and are now trapped in the debris!
The statues begin to move with the sound of stones grinding together. Twin bursts of energy wash over the Pathfinders...

Kramac can hear bones crunch from the force of the statue's attack as both arms strike Kiboko squarely in the chest - but civilization has not made the half-orc so soft as to quit the fight that easily.
I'm messing slightly with initiative order here to lump more people into acting in the next post.
The servants scream and flee - one rushing to the front door and pushing it open so the rest can spill out into the evening air. Osprey steps back carefully and chants strange syllables of power that hang in the air before settling on him like a stony skin. "What else are they hiding in their bellies!?" he yells, trying to hold his staff between himself and both the statue and worm that tower over him.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21
The worms are probably immature purple worms, as their size and crimson scales indicate they have not yet reached adulthood. Adult worms are well-known for grabbing their prey in their massive maws and swallowing them whole - and preying on anything smaller than themselves. Their tails are likewise tipped with stingers that are the source of the infamous (and similarly-named) purple worm venom - a potent poison that quickly drains its victim's strength. They do not possess any natural means of deflecting blows or healing themselves, though their great size and fortitude means driving one off is still a challenging task.
Knowledge (arcana), CE, PF, Inspiration: 1d20 + 26 + 2 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 26 + 2 + 2 + (2) = 34
The statues, meanwhile, are stylized stone golems. These towering guardians are as hard as the rocks they are made from and require weapons of adamantine to cut through. Like many golems, they are immune to magic aside from the spells transmute rock to mud (which slows the golem), transmute mud to rock (which heals the golem), and stone to flesh (which does not turn it into a flesh golem, but makes its form soft enough for most spells and weapons to penetrate for a few seconds). Lastly, the golems' mere presence is enough to stagger those around them as if by a wizard's slow spell (though they can only do this every 10 seconds or so rather than being a constant effect).
You also notice a small puff of smoke next to Adril, as well as what sounds like wood splintering and a hippopotamus roaring angrily in the distance.

"Zaarah! Put that worm to sleep! We need to reduce the enemies' numbers quickly." Kiboko indicates the uninjured immature worm threatening him and Kramac.
This is a hell of a surprise attack!
Kiboko, like Kramac, sends instinctive emotions to Mvumbu to call her to him. Mvumbu has Trample, GM, so she'll go right over any enemy smaller than her in order to get to Kiboko.
Kiboko sidesteps the worm and draws his greatsword, summoning up all of his rage and vitality to smash the golem.
Zaarah, can you give a flank? If so Kiboko will coordinate actions with you to flank the golem. If not, don't worry about it. Kiboko's attacking anyway.

From the balcony, Adril cheers loudly as Zaarah puts the worm in front of him to sleep. He reaches instinctively for a weapon strapped to his back, but finds nothing but his formal outfit. As the venture-captain turns towards his bedroom, he stops suddenly as if running into an invisible wall. He looks down with a surprised expression on his face at the knife sticking out of his chest before the big man falls to the ground and does not move. In his place stands a man wearing a crimson-feathered headdress and leather armor similarly adorned with scarlet feathers. His face, painted with bloody patterns reminiscent of wings, twists into a snarl as he holds aloft the dripping dagger and shouts in a booming voice, "The Red Raven strikes for the Revolution!"

Seeing his old Venture-Captain fall from a dagger thrust through his heart, Flyn screams in rage. "NOOOOOO! YOU BASTARD!!!!"
As angry as he is, Flyn recognizes the remaining worm as the bigger threat, followed by the stone golems...he'll target the red worm first and fire till it drops. If the worm drops after his first attack, he'll send an adamantine arrow at the stone golem that ravaged Kiboko (if the red worm is still up though, he'd fire at it again). In his distress at Venture-Captain Adril's murder, Flyndyngylyn's arrows strike the walls and furniture as the worm's thick armor deflects them. His last potshot at the Red Raven strikes true, but the mysterious man does not seem phased by it. Below, Kramac struggles to penetrate the golem's stoney skin - only his first blow chips away some of the rock that makes up its body.
The still-awake worm rears up, it's head nearly touching the ceiling, before crashing back down mouth-first over Osprey. The man doesn't even have time to yell before he is swallowed, his boots the last thing Fendel and Flyndyngylyn see as the senior Pathfinder disappears down the worm's gullet.

You've heard the stories about the Red Raven, or at least read about him. Named for his famous tattered red cape and the ravens who feasted on his earliest victims, the Raven is a vigilante renowned throughout Galt for his high-profile heists. Some view him as nothing more than a rebel, while to many he is an egalitarian folk hero.
You also notice a frantic screeching sound, and the ground shaking beneath you as if from heavy footfalls - but the quadruple timing doesn't match that of the bipedal golems, and the worms don't have feet to fall.

Yeah, I love me some Point Blank Master! Nice try regardless, Fendel...hope it takes out red...

GM Hawthwile |

@Fendel - usually actively looking for something is a Move action. Do you have a means of shortening that time? Otherwise I'll assuming you wanted to use your Move action to move rather than stay put and try to shoot through the golem.
Also, @Everyone, it's handier for me if you don't consolidate modifiers to rolls. On the off-chance that there's something that does/doesn't apply, it's much easier for me to check visually rather than try to correctly do the math to see whether a particular bonus has/hasn't been included. I mention this because @Fendel deals an additional +2 damage with that attack thanks to Bane's effective +2 enhancement bonus increase (in addition to the +2d6 damage) - and those extra two points of damage make a difference.
Fendel barely slips past the golem's reach thanks to a bit of timely inspiration, then spins around to send an arrow down the crimson worm's gullet after Osprey. The massive beast convulses before falling to the ground unmoving.
The relief filling the Seekers at downing one of their foes quickly evaporates as flaming arrows fill the air, raining down from masked figures that appear on the balcony overlooking the Great Room as if by magic.

Kiboko's sword chops off part of the golem's stony body, but his follow-through swings lack the force to penetrate the rock that makes up its body. As he yells, he hears an answering bellow from the other side of the partially-open door...
"MMMMRRRRRUUUUUUMMMMMPPPPPHHHH!!!"
With a mighty crash, Mvumbu tears down the doors to the Woodsedge Lodge. Behind her, Beaky screeches fiercely as he prepares to join his companion Kramac in battle!
On the balcony above the Great Room, the Red Raven races towards the far edge of courtyard overlook and pulls his cloak tightly around himself before vanishing in another puff of smoke.
Flyndyngylyn holds his bow up, but before he can loose another arrow the world starts to pull away and he collapses to the floor.

Is Flyn highlighted for some reason? If I'm bleeding, a stabilization roll does no good, correct?

GM Hawthwile |

Flyndyngylyn's bolded just for my sanity. And yes, unfortunately - he might stabilize, but the bleeding will continue until stopped somehow.

As discussed in Discord, Kiboko delays.
If Fendel were conscious, he might have heard the sounds of feathers and cloth scraping against shrubbery. Alas, he does not - nor does he hear the sudden sounds of screaming from the northwestern part of the Woodsedge Lodge where the armory is located, unlike Kiboko, Kramac, and Zaarah.
On the floor in the corner of the Great Room, Flyndyngylyn's blood continues to pool around him.
