It looks like Braggi is still interested:
"I think, if that's okay for you all, it could be a good time to have a read of what has happened and come back with a good reason for a reappearance.
I just warn in advance some days I won't be able to make the 1/weekday post, so you may weigh that carefully. At least until September."
Based on this, do you guys want to try to grab a 6th?

I'm non-comittal. I'm good either way!
It could be interesting to mix in another 3rd party thing of some sort.
Could use a caster type maybe. I think having a new class would be interesting. But other than caster or ranged type, we're decently well paired up.

Hi folks.
Actually, I was waiting until you guys posted opinions on me coming back. I'm... not sure what you think about it... and I might still need up to the end of the month to settle down a bit, so I think you'd do better with a new addition, maybe? Or let's say I feel you would.
In any case, sorry to DM rel20 for having played with your feelings... I had one thing in my mind but reality had other plans, it seems. Thank you all and wish you a good and happy gaming.

Welcome back to the thread, Braggi. :)
As someone who tends to post sporadically in non-set [or unscheduled] increments myself, I've no issue nor any problem with your character returning to play whatsoever.
That being said, there shouldn't be any problems if you really feel that taking a hiatus would be far more preferable in your opinion; I doubt that anyone would object to having Braggi being hand-waved back as a temporary side-character until when we get back to town. That way, if in the future, you wish to return as an active player, you should be fine [apart from having to possibly level up or account for any wealth differences involved with leveling up]. ;)
PS. Mebbe the same might be done for Kurian as well, just in case?
PPS. Mebbe Braggi was either busy checking stuff on the floor below the roof during all this time or something else had occupied his immediate attention?
I guess let's try to grab a 6th. This way if it doesn't work out, we'll at least have 5. Did anyone know any of the others that were trying to get in? To keep it simple, we could give precedence to one of those.
Don't know of anyone else off the top of my head who'd be interested either but it couldn't hurt to make another recruitment thread for folks out there interested in playing a 3pp PF1e class. Probably go for 1 or 2 Xtra folks? ;)
and we need to beware the invisible rogue creeping around that disappeared.
Heh, we probably should check in on Kurian [if he's still at the front door] just in case. ;p
Come to think of it, we'd probably have to check with Reithic to see if he wants to head back to town with us too,

I'm quite happy with you returning/remaining.
As well as picking up an extra as needed.
I'm prtty chill with whatever options sound best for folks

If we still have the list somewhere. Might be good to include classes that were ruled out previously (such as the Artificer class before).
As a sidenote if someone who really wants to play a Scholar pops in. I'm fine with that; or if they want to take the spot I still have that Puppet User built.
Chigao Waiyo
Since I did bought up Kurian earlier, guess I can send a PM over to him. Mebbe to check if it'll be okay to leave him in town and such?
In terms of the new recruitment thread, congrats on getting a prospective psionic party member and even a possible SoP character too. :)
Chigao Waiyo
Just to let everybody know, I managed to hear back from Kurian's player. :)
He wanted to offer his expressed apologies to everybody for his extended absence; he's doing okay but got hit hard by real life circumstances and will be needing some space and extra time off for the moment. :(
He has mentioned that he'll be fine with leaving Kurian at Swallowfeld for now, though. ;)

It was my intent to have the group decide on which recruits to accept. Since it looks like we only have two at this point, I guess the question is does the group want to sign off on the both of them and be done with the recruitment process or not?
RE: Kurian - that's what I expected, the best of luck to him.

I don't remember seeing any mechanics but thats not really a problem overall. I had some interest in seeing the other applicant's Sphere of Power build; just to see what they did with it. but they haven't posted much
So. I'm good with them. They seem quite into it at least.

Hello all - can you please provide your thoughts on Evindyl's submission; at the very least, a yes or no.
For Evindyl's/Nathan's submission, I'm going with a 'Yes' vote to whichever build gets he finalizes/chooses. :)
Chigao Waiyo
and there's no IC way to get this idea out there, but, funeral pyres are a thing for a reason: they are way less work than burial. LOL remember? Jawas? The first Star Wars movie? Just much more expedient for the team if they want to.
That's definitely something that'll be worthy of consideration, Nathan- even more so since there's alotta charcoal leftover in the kitchen area too [they might be okay for starting our own camping fires too?]. :)
I'm getting a feeling that Andru might be an appropriate person for the job if he can use his flamethrower device in a non-combat situation [Zupon's the next runner up given the past experiences he had with undead?]. ;)
PS. Might also depend on how things are handled with a Cayden-style funeral rites? ;p

Zupon's preference would actually be to get out. He's had more than enough experience with corpses. He just wants to be out haha. And does not wanna smell death-left behind or burned.

Y'know, that might just call out for Xephkiel offering Zupon some kind of fortifying drink to help keep the Young Scholar focused and not too traumatized by the burials or clean-up efforts. :)

He's really just awaiting keeping an eye out while Xeph does it. He's spent long enough to be dull to it. Its just unpleasant.

I'm fine with S.D's character concept. I dont know much about the character mechanically but we're pretty set regardless so should work ouot.

Since we have Storm Dragon's submission, can we please vote similarly?
My vote for Randall will be a 'Yes', as well. :)
I am not sure if I get a vote, but if I got one, it would be YES
I'm sure it'll be fine, Nathan- after all, there's a decent likelihood that the two of you would be introduced together to the party proper. ;)
Chigao Waiyo
When would be a good time to intro our characters?
Since Nathan has started to post his intro to the in-game thread proper, mebbe you can have Randall make his intro post as well? ;)
If you need any in-character justification/connections to any other characters to head over to Swallowfeld and meet up with the party, please feel free to check with any of us [including DM rel20 too] here via on the Discussion area [or even PM's if you'd prefer to use that]. :)
Chigao Waiyo
No worries, Nathan; at the very least, it'll give you some leeway for eventually meeting up with us once we get Reithic back to town. :)
PS. mebbe your automatic writing ability might somehow 'foreshadow' us all? ;)
PPS. shouldn't take us all that long to get Reithic back though. ;)

Heh, part of the message board function has a thing where changes are made due to mentioning Smurfs/smorphs[?]; think it might've started [not entirely positive though] as some old April's Fools joke. :)

As I recall correctly it was done specifically to mess with a friend of mine (Kobold Cleaver). She's the only one that gets the same smurfatar every time (a smurf variant of her usual Kobold avatar)
LOL it totally freaked out someone on another thread, I actually didn't realize it would do it on replies

Nate has also been working very VERY hard to master Aunt May's meatloaf skills, as well as trying to work through what it would take to make it on the road.
Like everything it would take: cookware, process of open fire cooking, ingredient adaptation, the works.
There were any number of reasons for this, but one of them was that hunting was messy & disruptive, where foraging, while time consuming, was a good way to both scout an area AND make dinner ;)
