Best of luck to you with the 2nd shot, DM rel20. :)
The vaccine itself hasn't had much of any side-effects for me, apart from some delayed soreness [a few hours] where the injection was- maybe a bit of some sniffles and fatigue; in terms of the extra time spent, I'd say it was more the registration process and driving distance [half an hour away/closer locations were already full up] plus the actual wait [hooray for parking lot obstacle course] and processing/injection onsite.

Ended up moving Zupon's icon inside the tower on the Shadowed Keep Ground Floor map. Braggi is free to head inside the tower too, 'cuz there's more bandits upstairs [4 of them at the very least; no telling who or what's in the still closed rooms]. :)
PS. Chigao's SLA's are inactive until she goes back downstairs to the dungeon cell. ;)

last I was aware the token on the "ground floor "was off the map because Zupon was no longer on the map. huh.
Not like Braggi would know the 4 in there yet unless someone calls out. Stone door bodies and stairs stiffle noises quiet well

tower slide. 2nd page, bottom right of the area.
Room with you and all the enemies there
I've pondered throwing a bomb into it. But the aoe is much bigger than the room. So it could spill out and get us haha.

Andru hasn't checked in for awhile in addition to Kurian. I'll try direct messaging them for follow up, but it's probably best to have them operate in limbo 'til we hear back.
Assuming everyone else is still here, that would leave 4, which is still enough to move forward, but with the delays waiting for people to get back to posts, it's hard to say.
Nonetheless, I'll adjust encounters for 4 for now until we get a clearer answer.

I'm fine with continuing if follks are still about~
Zupon will be offensively more offective if/when we manage a level. But he's not had the best luck attacking haha.
Chigao Waiyo
No issues with continuing on here. Also, we'll have some additional help from Reithic, even though he's not armored apart from the shield he picked up from one of the downed bandits. ;)

Sorry, no. Kurian's main is oceanshieldwolf. He has a email on his profile page. Andru is also GMMichael who host a few games on the forums. He might be more active under this name.

Just wanted to say I'm going under a formation for lip-synching, dubbing and off-voice narrative. It's going to take away some time from me, specially at the beginning, so I'll be (even) slower than usual.

Congrats on your formation into voice-work/dubbing, Braggi. :)

Fighting defensively stuff
You can fight defensively without total defense. total defense is a standard action and you do not attack you just get the AC bonus for the round.
fighting defensively requires you to attack. you take penalties but you get the AC.
There is also combat expertise but that doesn't matter unless you have a feat.
"Fighting Defensively as a Standard Action: You can choose to fight defensively when attacking. If you do so, you take a –4 penalty on all attacks in a round to gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC until the start of your next turn."
"Fighting Defensively as a Full-Round Action: You can choose to fight defensively when taking a full-attack action. If you do so, you take a –4 penalty on all attacks in a round to gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC until the start of your next turn."
So at this level. Unless you have some other method of doing extra attacks (like ninja's throwing star tricks, rapid shot etc). You'l do it as a standard I assume.
So -4 to hit; but +2 dodge.

Much appreciated, Zupon [and DM rel20 in the Gameplay thread], on the clarification on the various Fighting Defensively iterations and stuff; it is tempting to use a thrown dagger attack for the fighting defensively part but it might be more smoother to go with the total defense with the sickle rather than retconing Chigao's previous actions. :)

Xephkiel is now disabled.
Chigao's going to "test her might" against the She-Devil; that should help shield Zupon enough to attempt another healing or give Xeph some breathing room to move away next round.

Medical Training: Up to INT times per day.
Braggi: 2/4
Xeph: 2/4
Chigao 2/4
Names not listed, have not recieved this healing today yet.
Each use, used 1 Healing Kit usage.
For record keeping purposes.
It'll be nice at level 2 when Zupon can debuff more and a few other things~
Absolutely should've chosen smaller splash weapon build over the big bomb build.

With Fang being so reluctant towards making any attacks [luck being on our side with the handle animal rolls...], it almost seems as if Fang somehow got stolen from their rightful owner [possibly a previous prisoner before Reithic was captured?]. ;)

Its compeltely hilarious how badly it snowballed!
Also amuses me I don't think he's rolled above a 10 to hit with his weapons.
Chigao Waiyo
There might be a chance that the bandit is just somehow just invisible but Chigao will opt to go and assist with Fang regardless, as Fang would be the only visible enemy at the moment. That plus she wouldn't have any way to spot an invisible foe. ;p

we are having hellweather warnings tonight. 80+mph winds, tornado, hail, dust storms, floods..
soooo if I vanish for a few days something got damaged; and continue on and i'll catch up.
No worries. Stay safe and keep your physical RPG books and candles close by ;)
Sounds like great weather for a Ravenloft game...

With the tower taken and the time we've invested in it, now's a pretty good time to check a few things.
First off - feedback.
Is the game what you expect? Is it still enjoyable? How are the 3pp classes working? Does anything good or bad stand out yet?
Lost members - Since we haven't heard from Braggi in a long time, we should check in. Maybe it's a good time to get confirmation if he needs to drop.
If yes, do we want to pick up another member?

I'm enjoying it well. I apprecaite the maps and visuals.
I like my 3rd party class a lot. I built it wrong but its quite a lot of neat stuff. Looking forward to level 2 where I can throw down debuffs more readily. I absolutely did wrong by going with the big AOE. I was thinking of saving and using it for the right moments. But they're too rare in this kind of setting and too dangerous to risk allies. and it took a lot of feat/known items to pull it off~
If I did it again. I'd have snagged some smaller splash weapons instead of a bomb~
While the debuff at touch aC is quite neat. Its definetly awkward. I haven't figured out if I like it or not. Though might be better once I get a better to hit option. Which is a potential choice I can pick up. I just cant' remember what builds I had sketched out after all this time.
It does seem like we lost folks yep. I'm fine replacement or not.
We're pretty mistmatched as a group; pseudo healer, some aoe gadgets, a mostly melee guy? and a ninja gal whose also fairly melee?
Chigao Waiyo
@Zswordsman/Zupon: Good to hear that you're okay. :)
PS. Yeah, our group line-up does seems to be unique although we did lose another melee/debuffer and ranged specialist in the process though.
@Xephkiel: That's a bummer to hear about your laptop. :(
@DM rel20: The game is about what I expected and I'm enjoying it so far; there was some catching up on the rules on my end since I've gotten a bit rusty with the PF1e ruleset but I'm good with my 3pp choices thus far- things will be sure to pick up as we get towards the higher levels of our 3pp classes and such.
I'm fine with getting other players as needed but am also okay with things if we aren't able to get any.
PS. Have you gotten the sense of how our various 3pp classes are working out in-game so far as well? ;)

Doing this all on a phone is a bit much for my steak fry fingers. I still enjoying the campaign. I look forward to more RP moments with the other players. The tower was tough, but fun.

If Braggi leaves, let's get a replacement player. There were many eager applicants who didn't get in.

RE: the spheres classes, the system definitely provides a lot of flexibility. The debuff ability is interesting, although a witch class would probably be doing the same - standard action to debuff -2. The part that's hard to gage is the stacking as combat goes on... maybe the loss of a standard action is fine to negate it, which makes it kind of an awkward daze spell then. Since the target gets to make the choice, it's probably weaker over all, but it definitely is annoying.
The others seem to be fine so far.

I rather love the idea of it. There are combos later on to stack up a lot of darts in one round. Which would be quite a debuff. but thats also not something a Scholar would pick up. 1/2 Bab is pretty rough.
Which ultimately is the main reason I went needle launcher..1) its just awesome and 2) its touch AC. Does no damage-Excluding using a martial focus to add a small amount of damage 1/fight (for now).
I'm feeling like ultimately I'll use it far less later on. Flashbangs at level 2 seem quite potent. Or alternate a bit as that could provide martial focus cycling. but overall I think I'd likely drop the sniper stuff if I were doing it again. Then pick up Cherry bombs as my standard "weapon".
Which I knew was a risk considering the 1/2 bab class style. Though it'd always be decent "to hit" with that touch AC effect. So its not a bad tool to have. If I so chose, level 2 or was it 3, could get Int to hit; which would help the 1/2 bab.
Also.... I feel like its just quite an annoying book keeping thing at a point. THough all debuff builds are to an extent.
Flashbangs (Ex)
At 2nd level, the scholar learns how to create unstable preparations using various salts and minerals that she can hurl at a creature as a ranged touch attack with a range of 30 ft. + 10 ft. per class level, dealing 1d4 bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage, and forcing the target to succeed on a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 the scholar’s class level + her Intelligence modifier) or be deafened and dazzled for 1d4 rounds; in addition, whenever a creature fails their saving throw against one of the scholar’s flashbangs, she may recover her martial focus as an immediate action. Preparing and throwing a flashbang is a standard action. If the scholar has at least 5 ranks in the Craft (alchemy) skill, the target takes 1d8 bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage and is instead blinded and deafened for 1d4+1 rounds on a failed Fortitude saving throw.
Some material impositions grant secondary effects that have the [explosive] descriptor; these impositions allow the scholar to expend her martial focus when using a flashbang to add additional effects as described in their entry. You can only add one [explosive] to a given flashbang.
Zupon is interesting but very scattered. he's something of the main healer. Something of backup AOE and something of a debuffer. Knowing what I know now. I'd tweak him a bit if I were to build him again. I needed to lean into smaller aoes like acid or alch fire or cherry bomb alchemical choices.

I'm fine with holding off till we get a reply from Stasis players, or until laptop is fixed.
I'm still uncertain if we're retreating. Which isn't ideal in terms of invading the keep. but we're also extremely tapped-and level 1.
Chigao Waiyo
We'll definitely have to search the tower and all the bodies for anything of value or interest before we head back to Swallowfeld; plus there's still the matter of dealing with both the Goblin and Reithic [possibly taking back some proof of dealing with the red-haired She-devil if there is a bounty for her]. :)
