Oh shoot, I was waiting to see what Zed would do so as to not get in his way, but I see now that he hasn't been activated yet. Mea culpa! Sorry!

Zephra follows quickly behind Gaelan, and seeing that they have surprised the cultists, she moves to an exposed position where she can flank them and also draw their attacks, while preventing them from safely casting spells.

She enhances her armor as a swift action, then moves to the center square-- she believes this shouldn't provoke opportunity attacks as they haven't acted yet. Then she attacks the enemy she is flanking, taking care not to expose herself recklessly.

If this hits, she will activate her conductive dagger to use her Knowledge blessing, which costs two uses and informs her about the cultist as if she had made a monster lore roll of 31. ETA: I deducted her blessings from her sheet, and decremented all of her spell durations by 1m.

Remember, you have 4 levels of energy drain, which imposes -4 save penalty. You fail save and take full 28 damage.

With Sola's aid Zed manages to use his allies to dodge the worst of the flames. He steps into the room, beginning to swing at the lower cultists to get them out of the way.

Focusing on gray first, if Gaelan hasn't already downed them. If not I'll focus on purple.

Zed will declare his judgement as an immediate action, increasing his AC and getting DR 3/evil. With my current AC at 32 (28 base, +3 from judgement, +1 from lastwall phalanxy), will that make any of those attacks miss? I'm seeing 4 hits:
18 rolled for 6-3 = 3 damage
18 rolled 13-3 = 10 damage
15 rolled for 10-3 = 7 damage
17 rolled for 6-3 = 3 damage

Sister, unless I missed something, you activated that buff before the mummy fight and it lasts 12 minutes. You have spent more than 12 minutes since the mummies, the giant, the cathedral main fight, the search of the cathedral, the hallway spectre fight, and the room with the grate. According your bar, you have 10 mins left so you believe you did all of that in 2 mins. I do not understand.

How long has it been? I cast invisibility purge before that, and you said that it was still active-- that was before we went through the portal. I have been reducing the durations of all my buffs by 1m each time we moved to a new scene, and it looks like I thought that was 8m ago.


Appreciate the response, Sister. Perhaps I should have been clearer with the passage of time. No worries. We will say there are 2 mins left on any minute per level buffs cast prior to the cathedral fight. In that case, Sister has only taken the 14 damage from the fireball.

Ohh that crit confirm almost definitely missed, but Zed's crits are nothing to joke about.

All three attacks directed at Cyan. If the attacks down her then Zed will use the advancing part of his armor to move into the top left corner of the room as a free action without provoking. If those attacks do not drop Cyan then Zed will 5 foot step up and to the left. AC is 32 this round from judgement and haste, not counting any potential lastwall phalanx bonuses.

Two of Zed's attacks hit, severely wounding the cyan cultist, but she still stands. Zed moves to the top left corner.
