”What’s that?” Reckum asks, drawing his wallop-hammer and looking around. He stays close to Kalkemedes in case the sleepwalker needs to be held back from walking into a pit of quicksand or off another cliff or through another patch of razorweed.

Draw earth-breaker and readied action to drop said earth-breaker and grapple Kalkemedes if he starts walking into danger.

"Your money or your life! yells the bandit with a Yellow bandanna.

"Fred, the rest of us met without you and we agreed we aren't going to do that any more," the bandit with the Green bandanna replies.

"We're just going to kill them? That doesn't make any sense. If word gets out that we just murder people willy nilly, everyone will fight us," Yellow protests. He continues mumbling something about shearing sheep forever and slaughtering sheep once.

"It's what Kortes wants," Green explains. "Back when factions meant something, our identities meant something. Now, we're just a bunch of faceless murderers."

"Well, that's terrible news," sighs Yellow. "Sooner or later, this is going to get us all killed."

I forgot to mention earlier that the woods squares (any square with more than half woods) are difficult terrain.

The southern flank begins firing their crossbows at Reggie.

Of course, he's got his own wand to use, pulled out of the pile of them stacked up at the Pathfinder Gift Shop back at the Grand Lodge.

"Anybody else figure they got a factory someplace where folks don't do nothin' all day but make these things for Pathfinders?" he asks with a grin as he gets a dose.
