When done with the scenario, Haechi will look for jobs that involve spending hours in libraries, since that's where he'll be anyway; a librarian's assistant or researcher-for-hire would work.
Academia Lore (trained): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Woot Lanturn Lodge! I was so disappointed to find that the original faction had been retired before I started PFS.

Map slides are up. Please fill out your perception as well as other possible initatives for your character on Slide 3. Add your saves as well.
On slide 4 enter your skill modifier IF you want me to roll secret checks for recall knowledge.
Lastly please post here how many GM Glyphys you have and if you have any preference on who gets the extra hero points.
Also for Granitt and Iconic, looks like you are twins. If either of you have another token you would like to use just copy it on to slide 5

Downtime Activity and roll(s)
Earn Income, Performance: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Although Zelphari is not a battle oracle, I've built him to be melee, or at least, able to survive a bit in front to support and, hopefully, do a bit of damage.

I busted out the icon I use for Ionic when not on the boards as well. Sadly there's no way to upload that image to his avatar here though. He's next to Granitt on the icon page. I can also use this image if it would work better.
I don't have anything that gives extra Hero points sadly, but want to start working on getting glyphs soon.
Finally Ionic has the swords training, but will take the default of a minor healing potion instead of the other options his school gives him.
He has no other daily prep.

10d9 ⇒ (7, 9, 9, 9, 2, 5, 7, 4, 1, 1) = 54
So by levels we have
Zelphari Caryarus (1)
Zara the Measure (1)
Haechi (1)
Ionic Saltbeard (2)
Granitt (2)
Currently at 10 Challenge points waiting on one more person.

I believe that appealing to their profession would mean use their likely profession skill to influence them. For example the barrister would likely be swayed by legal lore, the smith by crafting or some lore related to smithing, the actor performance possibly and the socialite maybe diplomacy or possibly Absalom lore or genealogy lore.
That makes way too much sense to me :)
Unless someone takes out the Actor this round, I think I might try a Performance roll to appeal to his profession next round.
Ionic tromps up to the barrister and pulls out the forms...

Unless these agitators have some really good Will scores, I suspect that Haechi took care of the Barrister. With your nat-20 Society roll you may want to target the Socialite instead.

Standard disclaimer: If you're wondering about my strange posting times, it's because I'm currently living in Spain. If other PbP adventures I've played in are anything to go by, most of you are likely to be posting from North America somewhere. I am some 9 hours ahead of Pacific time and 6 hours ahead of Eastern time, so I go to bed sometime in your mid-afternoon and get up sometime in the very early morning.

![]() |

And Spain is 1 hour ahead of the UK ...... where I reside, on the sunny south coast near Portsmouth.
I even work for a Spanish company, one day I might get a trip to HQ in Madrid. So where in Spain Haechi?

I'm currently laying low in sunny Valencia on the Mediterranean coast.

Hero point to Haechi for bringing in "We Be Heroes"
Thanks for the hero point, but the truly sublime piece of writing that was "We Be Heroes" is hard to erase from one's memory.

Thought I'd bought a Healer's Kit, but not on the sheet. Will check my certs to see if I bought one and the sheet is out of date, or I was an idiot and forgot to buy one. If I did, I'll attempt to do some medicine on anyone that wants it.

![]() |

Ifyou did not can we not share kits? Or is that a no-no?

![]() |

Wait, I think with the new rules from the start of season 2, we can only get one item per mission.
You are correct. Only one of the potions is Haechi's free consumable. The other one is the one we got from Calisro at the party that we ended up not using after the ritual when Granitt's Lay on Hands took care of all the healing.
Ifyou did not can we not share kits? Or is that a no-no?
I've never had an issue with sharing kits, though usually it is thieves tools that get shared after a crit fail.
Treat Wounds takes 10 minutes per person and Lay on Hands is instantaneous, with a 10 minute recharge time. Lay on Hands gives back 6 hp every time. Treat Wounds averages 9 hp but you need to make a DC 15 medicine check, which for Granitt is a 55% chance, for an overall average of about 5 hp of healing.
Lay on Hands is the better option.

We are nearing the end. I am going to wrap things up this weekend. Just a little more investigation.

![]() |

Ok. We have wrapped up. I already wrote up the Chronicles

Got the chronicle. Looks good to me.
Thanks everyone for making this such an enjoyable experience. Look forward to adventuring with you again in the future.
