Powered by fear and disgust, Torsten surged forward towards the unnatural creature. He couldn't get a good grip on it for his usual method of fighting, which was knocking the foe off balance, taking them to the ground, and then tearing them apart. However, he still was able to land fairly solid hits, which alone were enough to break stone, let alone bone.

Usawoti's blast connects with the creature's carapace, but it immediately begins healing the injury. When Torsten surges forward, it lashes out with its whiplike tentacles.

If that connected, it also inflicts 1d6 bleed, and I'll need a Fortitude Save DC 26 vs paralyzed for 1d4 rounds.

I'll resolve the rest of the turn after I see whether or not Torsten was affected. I think the AoO hit, but I know I've missed AC modifiers in the past. :-)

The creature continued to tear shards of stone from Torsten, causing bloody chunks to fall to the ground. The dwarf, if you could still call him that, kept moving forward, reaching out with his own hands to do the same. He stayed quiet as he fought, concentrating purely on outlasting the nightmarish creature.

The two of you dispatch the horrible blood spider creature, but seconds later, four winged devils materialize - two hovering over each shaft. Unlike the others you've previously fought, these are better-armored and carrying tridents wreathed in flames.

Not sure how badly the leng spider had wounded his friend, Usawoti moves to where Torsten is. "Let me heal some of those wounds."

Putting his shoulder to the wall and his back to his friends, he commands the ring. "നെഗറ്റീവ് ഊർജ്ജം പോസിറ്റീവ് എനർജി" Chanelling a burst of energy, positive energy to heal his friend and negative energy to harm the winged devils.

Feeling the unholy energy strike him from behind, Usawoti, distracted, is unable to avoid both trident attacks. Looking over his shoulder to verify his suspicions he asks Torsten, "You want these two while I deal with the fliers?"

Waiting till Torsten is ready to switch, Usawoti switches positions with his friend. Lifting his hammer filled fist he points the bone ring towards the two flying devils. Commanding "വാംപിരിക് സ്ട്രൈക്ക് മാസ്സ് ഡെത്ത് മാജിക്" Spending some of the rings innate magic, he sends a cone of death magic towards the two devils intent on draining their energy and using it himself.

I'm not sure where the extra Move action is coming from unless you meant the "spend focus to reposition as a Swift action" ability from the Quick Force talent. Could you clarify? Your build has a lot of moving parts. ;-)

When looking through the profile again, I think that I was off combat talents by 1 (monks don't give that many). While I haven't done a full review, I took away the last combat talent for improvised weapons out of caution.

While Torsten tended to Usawoti's wounds, he chuckled at his friends observation. "True, but most of it was there's."

The bleeding having stopped, he took a moment to collect the tridents and tuck them in a strap on his pack. "No reason to leave them just lying around, someone might hurt themselves."

Nodding towards the open shaft going up, he indicated, "Easier to climb down than up. We should fly up while my armor still provides the ability to do so."

As they walk towards the northern shaft, Usawoti commands the ring "പോസിറ്റീവ് എനർജി" channeling energy to heal himself and his friend.

Taking his friends hand again, Elathras begins to fly up towards the shaft, once inside, zigging and zagging, keeping the angle slight so as to not make flying difficult.

"Makes sense." Torsten said, as the divine energy from Usawoti healed the worst of his wounds. He didn't like flying, but he had to admit that the logic was sound. Bearing with the unpleasant feeling of taking to the air, he trusted in his friend's abilities to see them safely as they ascended.


You fly up the shaft and arrive in a huge, lofty chamber illuminated by braziers at the four corners. A soft light also filters from two very high oval windows on the southwestern wall. The twin windows are fitted with panes of blue crystal that filter in some light from outside. Below these crystal "eyes," a band of mosaics on the south wall forms a huge map of an ancient, unknown land. The map features a river valley with many villages, each one labeled in a strange language. Yet the most unusual feature of the room floats and undulates at its center - an amorphous blob of blood, over thirty feet wide, hovers and ripples in the air. Shapes periodically form on its turbulent surface: faces, hands, buildings, and figures that last only long enough to melt back into the horrific mass. Dozens of thin crystal tubes extend from the upper walls of the room to a point just above the shifting mass of blood.

As you enter, the blood shakes and rumbles. It ripples briefly into a familiar shape - the Korvosa skyline - only to crumble as if during an immense earthquake. A moment later, Ileosa's beautiful but furious face appears in the blood as she shrieks in rage at the interruption. Six Ileosas emerge from the blood a moment later, each identical in appearance and wielding a glowing rapier.

His eyes drawn from the blue crystal panes and the ancient map, Usawoti is disturbed by the shifting images in the floating pool of blood. Even more disturbing is seeing Ileosa's face emerge from the pool of blood. Seeing the six queens emerge from the pool, Usawoti's mind wanders back to the castle where the queen there died so easily. He was about to comment to Torsten when he feels the fear wash over him.

Shaken, instead he sheaths the hammer, pointing the bone ring towards the blood. he begins to channel, keeping Torsten out of the wave of negative energy. ""മരണ ഊർജ്ജം അയയ്ക്കുക, കുള്ളനെ രക്ഷിക്കുക" Spending extra channeling energy to hopefull punish the queen and her clones.

Seeing how easily the first two 'clones' died, Usawoti almost second guesses pulling the fabled sword. Having already sheathed his hammer, he quickly studies the nearest 'queen' drawing Serithtial from its scabbard. Landing, he feints with the blade at the 'clones' shoulder then shifts the blade towards her throat. Slashing twice with the longsword as he thrust at her gut and groin with the klar.

Torsten paused mid punch, turning just in time to have the wingless dragon breathe it's poisonous breath all over him. He felt himself slow down, as the strength was sapped from his limbs. With a frown he forced arcane energy to flow through his body, restoring him. He turned to the dragon and stomped over towards it, eager to heed Usawoti's command. He was certain that the man had his back. All he had to do was focus on the dragon before him....

Ah, I see. So, he still has 44 wounds from before. After DR he takes another 19 wounds, so 63 total. However, strength damage was cured. Given that it had serious injuries already and Torsten just unloaded a ton of damage...

Moving in close to a dragon had it's downsides, such as being bitten by the creature. This was much less effective for the dragon than it would have hoped, as it's teeth found no flesh to puncture. Rather, Torsten was lifted into the air, and as he did so he felt teeth break as they were forced closed upon his stone exterior. Still, the sheer crushing force was enough to do some significant damage. Making the best of the situation. Finding himself inside of it's mouth, he reached out with his hands and dug in. Forcing himself to stand, he began to tear the dragon's head apart from the inside. It thrashed and tried to dislodge the dwarf, but he had more than enough handhold, and he was extremely steady on his feet. Again and again he dug up, ripping his way through the dragon's head until finally he caused damage that was fatal. It's eyes rolled to the back of its head as it suddenly crashed to the ground.

Torsten crawled out of it's mouth, covered in blood and gore. His body was cracked from where the dragon had chewed on him. The runes that covered him flashed with power and his body reformed. Furthermore, his runes were hard at work, cleaning him off. Within minutes he would look like nothing had happened.

"The queens be dead?" He asked, as he looked around the room and saw only the two of them.

Focusing on the bloody spikes emanating from the pool Usawoti is unable to dodge the dragons talons. Lifting the blade as Torsten is bitten, Usawoti is concerned the creature may swallow his friend. He then realizes that the stone dwarf is pulling himself into the dragon's maw. Watching as blood and gore splatter from the creatures head, Usawoti is relieved to see Torsten Drop from the things gullet. Watching the dragon with his 'deathwatch glasses' he answers, "These clones are, but I don't know if the queen is or not." As he watches the dragon he mentally asked the sword, "Serithtia can you sense the queen?"

I've withheld actions until he sees if the dragon is dead. Torsten are you down any HP or stat damage?

Torsten rips through the dragon's head from the inside, and it explodes in a shower of blood. In its place is Queen Ileosa.

Usawoti still has his actions, but it took Torsten's Move and Standard to eliminate the dragon's last 133hp. ;-)

As the dragon dissipates, Usawoti, realizes the queen still stands. Giving a wolfish smile, he tells his dwarven friend, "Apparently, we missed one." As he steps forwards, he studies the queen. Realizing he's weaker than usual, he focuses on finesse instead of power. Thrusting Serithtial at the queen's chest, he shifts it towards the throat and shoulder, while slashing at the hip and side with the Klar.

Torsten raised an eyebrow as he managed to completely miss the queen. He struggled against the flow of blood, finding himself almost unable to move. With a grunt he caused the enchantment in his glove to flare to life, causing his hand to become engulfed in flames. He reached his arm back to throw a punch, only to find that he could not reach her. His short stature and the constant flow of blood caused him to be able to do naught but keep his balance. He truly hoped that Usawoti would have more luck than he did.
