Tally makes his way between the desks and through the webbing until he gets to the door in the west. After listening closely to see if there is anything moving on the other side, he opens the door.


Igar sees a pint but it is not in your world.

Tally observes an unusually dark storage room with a few odds and ends on its shelves.

Etgar furrows his brow as he watches, then shakes his head. This place is really getting to me...well, shall we move on? He heads over to the door to the north and checks it for any potential traps.

This long room has a narrow table with several comfortable looking chairs around it. A few shelves contain pottery, serving dishes, and heavy books. Doors lead out from each direction, including several doors standing in the east wall.

Two scriveners lounge here. They look like the wooden doll that was bleeding earlier. Knowledge Arcana to identify. The one obvious difference is that these have three forearms and hands on each arm. They rise and with their multiple arms simultaneously grab vials and large crossbows.

Tally has no clue what these things are, but since they are reaching for crossbows he STONGLY suspects they are violent, but still, Tally is willing to give them a chance. Besides, he now has a name to drop.

What kind of knowledge roll is needed? I'm guessing these guys have DR and if they do I'd like to know what kind. In case it is kn arcana...

Don's hammer misses its target. Tally does some damage with the morningstar.

Tally knows these constructs to be wyrwoods. The have no DR but being constructs are immune to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms) as well as bleed, disease, death effects, necromancy effects, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning. They are not subject to ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, energy drain, or nonlethal damage and have immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).

This relatively young race was created by a cabal of wizards who needed nimble and skilled construct servants to do their dirty work. They are highly intelligent but these two are acting out of fear.

Tally searches the bodies for more of those bottles because now he would actually like it if they have more of the stuff.

Having arrived in the land of death with standard camping equipment, though, he has no recourse other than simple first aid for treating his wounds. the best he is able to do is pad the areas that might rub up against his armor.

Etgar searches the room and says "This looks like a spellbook. This silverware looks expensive. I'll take that."

While they are sorting out the loot, Tally will cast detect magic and then detect poison to, well, detect.

Tally will grab the med kit and apply it to himself. It does seem to help but leaves him a bit burned up still.

Provided you allow me to retroactively apply the bonus from the it to the treat deadly wounds try he will gain 4 HP.

Etgar inspects the wyrwoods' extra arms. They are poorly attached as if they had not the talent to do it correctly or were in a hurry. The extra limbs are not of original construct like the well constructed wyrwoods.
