Dang. Was supposed to change that +5 to a +6 since I knew Navy attacked an ally and I got that +1 trait bonus. So both of those ridiculously high rolls should be 5 less and maybe he did not crush the bug.


I suspected something like that. Another miss for Tally who needs a new set of dice. Whew. Good time to get that out of your system.

The space under the lid of each desk is only a few inches deep, but the bottom of the interior of the desk appears to be gone, instead extending into indefinite darkness.

This effect is termed a nightmare influence. There are others throughout the scriptorium as long as the Dream Gate remains open. A knowledge planes check against a DC of 12 on this influence will gain you a clarity point. Clarity points represent your understanding of the nightmare influences. Each one you acquire gives you a +1 to perception and will saves against illusions within the scriptorium. Everyone gets to roll once per skill check trained or untrained. The clarity you gain will also help you when dealing with Mrs. Pedipalp and with shutting down the Dream Gate.
