Class Features:

Studied Target
A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.

If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a target, he can study that target as an immediate action, allowing him to apply his studied target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll).

At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the bonuses on weapon attack, damage rolls, and skill checks and to slayer DCs against a studied target increase by 1. In addition, at each such interval, the slayer is able to maintain these bonuses against an additional studied target at the same time. The slayer may discard this connection to a studied target as a free action, allowing him to study another target in its place.

At 7th level, a slayer can study an opponent as a move or swift action.

Determined Zeal
At 2nd level, a deliverer shrugs off attempts by his moral opposite to control or kill him. On any round in which deliverer attacks an opponent whose alignment is at least two steps away from his own (such as a lawful good deliverer fighting a chaotic good or lawful evil foe, or a neutral foe with no other alignment components), he gains a +2 bonus on Will saving throws against that opponent’s abilities, as well as the benefit of the Diehard feat until the end of his next turn. This ability replaces the slayer talent gained at 2nd level.

Track
A slayer adds 1/2 his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Sneak Attack
At 3rd level, if a slayer catches an opponent unable to defend itself effectively from his attack, he can strike a vital spot for extra damage. The slayer's attack deals extra damage anytime his target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the slayer flanks his target. This additional damage is 1d6 at 3rd level, and increases by 1d6 every 3 levels thereafter. Should the slayer score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this additional damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.

With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or unarmed strike), a slayer can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. He cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.

The slayer must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A slayer cannot use sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment.

Slayer Talents:

Ranger Combat Style: Archery
If the ranger selects archery, he can choose from the following list whenever he gains a combat style feat: Far Shot, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, and Rapid Shot. At 6th level, he adds Crossbow Mastery, Improved Precise Shot, and Manyshot to the list. At 10th level, he adds Pinpoint Targeting and Shot on the Run to the list.

Selected feat at level 4: Point-Blank Shot.

Backstory:

The thing with Lastwall is, people there don't have much space for Old Deadeye these days. Balthasar Walhart thinks it's because as a nation, it was never formed to be a community. It was formed to fight off threats, be them the undead or the orcs. The country simply isn't suited for the worship of Erastil, not suited for the simple pastoral life, because if you hail from Lastwall, you either are part of the defence effort, or you're part of the big supply network supporting said defence effort. And yet, Balthasar preached. Worship of Erastil was his life, always had been, ever since he was born in a small community of worshippers in the Fangwood. He could've spent the rest of his life there, simple and idyllic, but he wanted to spread the joy. So he went north, into Lastwall, trying to evangelise his beloved god.

His efforts were met with middling success. Most people he preached to simply didn't have time for the peaceful life. While they gladly listened to his stories, they were never spurred to action. At worst, his ideal of founding a commune to Erastil landed him in hot water. Who was this old man, suggesting people to drop everything and build a village in the woods? Why was he trying to take people away from their honest lives? Was he some sort of cult leader? For years, he preached, never giving up, but his lack of success was getting to him.

Then, one fateful night, he spotted a young man being chased by a shambling corpse. Without thinking, he referred to his teachings as a hunter and dispatched the creature. When the man came to thank him, Balthasar simply said not to thank him, but Old Deadeye, for granting him these skills. The man obliged, and for the first time since he entered Lastwall, he had someone who asked to pray with him. Finally, he felt like he was doing his god proud.

From that day on, he looked at the country differently. He didn't see crowds trying to fight the endless fight, he saw people trying to survive. Communities giving more than they truly could, just to make sure the soldiers were well fed, only to find those soldiers far from home when their own towns were beset by monsters. He began fighting for them. He would hunt down bandits, wild feral beasts, and the despised undead. Every kill was a prayer to Old Deadeye. And the communities that would otherwise struggle found themselves just a little better off. He became known under some scary sounding monikers, like Erastil's Arrow and the Wandering Hunter, but personally, the only name right for him was Father Walhart. A kindly soul, but one whose entire life was the hunt.

And so his hunt continues, a grand campaign to rid Lastwall of all threats growing from the inside, clawing their way out of gravestones. Unfortunately for the good Father, in his zeal to fight the walking dead, he hasn't realised one important thing. He's not alive himself. He wanders the Dead Roads, looking for undead to put down, never entirely realising why the Lastwall he's always known seems so devoid of... life... now.
