Adrian Liu |

Adrian moves over to the room next to the hallway. It was there where he heard footprints.
"So... who wants to go out in front?" he asked. "Because once we go through, not all of us would be able to hit them. I don't have any arrows on me."

Hattori Aiko |

"These goblins have been launching fireworks at us; we should at least see if we can find where they have their stash," suggests Aiko. "As Zaraleva suggested, I could try going into a window or checking other building by stealth. If they have more... we don't want to leave them with the fireworks, because they'll just use them against travelers."

Hattori Aiko |

"Maybe check more for tracks, see if you can pin down where these attackers came from and went while I'm searching," suggests the kunoichi.

![]() |

Other than the two goblins banging on the double doors in front on the largest hut in the corner of the village, no other activity is noticed.
A search of the village shows a lot of tracks in the mud; however, the skeleton tracks appear to have came from the pond. The footprints went in a straight line through it.

Hattori Aiko |

Aiko seems to materialize from around a corner with a tension bar in hand.
"You rang?"

Aiko checks the double doors for traps and does not find any. She does notice that the doors are barred on the inside. Using her Wakizashi, she slips it between the two doors and lifts the piece of wood barring the doors closed. With a flick of her wrist the wood rolls off her sword and falls to the ground.

Caine opens the door to reveal a room where the walls are decorated with numerous poorly preserved horse and dog heads, along with other trophies like broken weapons, brine pickled bodies of brutally slaughtered furry animals, and other bits of grisly ephemera. A rickety, 5-foot-tall wooden chair with a ladder built into the side sits against the southern wall.
Four goblins lie in wait in this room, one of which is adorned with an elaborate headdress wearing a shiny chain shirt and wielding a longbow with a nasty spear strapped to its back.

Ashlana and Aiko are up.

Hattori Aiko |

Roll: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Aiko takes the hit from the arrow, lets out an "unf," hurls a shuriken haphazardly and scrambles out of the line of fire.

Kwai Chang Caine. |

Caine takes the arrow in his chest with a bit of aplomb. The Magus turns his blue eyes from the arrow (quite literally sticking in his chest) to the goblin chief holding the bow.
That f~%*ing hurts! My gods man! Is that how you treat guest? I was told goblin hospitality was still around! Ha!
He gives a weak thumbs up to those still outside.
Ok. So, do not get hit by that guy.

Caine, Beastbrother, Adrian and Zaraleva are up

Zaraleva |

(I'm assuming you mean that the four of us can go in any order, since we are all after the goblins. Brilliant!)
Zaraleva calls upon the healing mercies of Sarenrae to undo the evil that has been done to those within thirty feet. Then she loads the crossbow.
channel energy for healing: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Caine feels a bit better after the warmth of healing is given. He nods to Zaraleva; he squares his shoulders, and he swiftly calls on his arcane magic to infused his fence post before striking at Green.

Green AoO: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
The green goblin swings at Caine as he moves away but Caine dodges the dogslicer attack. The blue goblin seems focused on the magic Ashlana used on the Chief and misses out on the opportunity to attack.
Beastbrother moves into the vacated space and is clear to attack either goblin.
Be sure to update the map so everyone knows where you went Caine.

Botting Beastbrother
Beastbrother moves up to the green goblin and swings his mighty earth breaker.
EB attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
The wild swing is ducked and the earth breaker smashes into the wall opening a small hole.
The powerful swing catches the Chief's attention and he lets loose a couple of arrows at Beastbrother.
Since he is hexed with Misfortune, he will take the worse of the following two rolls.

@Ashlana Since you had to move last round, you were unable to Cackle and thus extend the Misfortune hex on the Chief. You may attempt to hex him again and Cackle as well. I will allow a 5' step to fall into the mud. If you choose to do so, you will need to make a DC 15 Reflex save to avoid becoming prone. Since Caine is right behind you, he can also make a DC 15 Reflex save to "catch" you can keep you from falling prone. If either case, you will land in the square directly behind Beastbrother.

Botting Ashlana. Casting Misfortune of the Chief again and Cackling. She 5' steps back and attempts to land on her feet.
Chief Will DC 13: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Ashlana's hexes the Chief once again - this time extending the duration.
Ashlana Reflex DC 15: 1d20 ⇒ 6
As she steps back, Ashlana loses her balance and falls the 5' to the ground.
Caine may back a Reflex save to keep Ashlana from becoming prone. Not sure what Aiko would do - so she can take her turn after the Goblins.
The blue goblin takes a 5' step and attacks Beastbrother.
The green goblin already in fighting position attacks as well.

Red attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Red damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
With its Chief threatened, the goblin slices into Beastbrother.
Caine opens the door and finds a 5 foot square room with no apparent exits other than the one he just opened.
With closer inspection, he finds secret doors in both the northern and eastern walls.
