"Now that they know we are here, I am fairly certain that the goblins are holed up in that room. If you kick down that door we will likely have a fight on our hands. My guess is that the goblins are still nervous and bunkered-down because of their run-in with whatever led to that charnel pit out front."

Out loud, she calls out as the footsteps move away, "If you promise to leave our caravans alone, we will help destroy whatever has attacked you and avenge your fallen friends!"

Caine makes his way back to ground level. He curiously picks up a sharpened wood post laying about; looks it over a bit, nodding his head in satisfaction, before entering the green.

As Adrian enters the hut he spots a group of three goblins moving away down the walkway one of them appears to be setting up some sort of firework to launch in his direction. The hut he just entered appears to be a lookout hut of some kind.

Adrian with your perception roll you will be able to act in the surprise round. If you beat their initiative you can act before the firework launches. Everyone else can roll their initiative to determine when they act in the first round.

One of the three goblin lights a very short fuse connected to a foot long wooden tube. Out of the tube shoots a flaming pyrotechnic "candle" at Adrian.

It is obvious that the proper handling/firing of the pyrotechnics is not something that this goblin has become proficient with. The "candle" sails wide to the west of Adrian landing outside of the entire village.

The blue and red goblins swing at Beastbrother while the green goblin attempts to move through Beastbrother's space using a daring acrobatic maneuver. Beastbrother will get an AoO on the Green goblin.
The goblins are all armed with dogslicers.

From the ladder, the red goblin is unable to get into a good fighting position, its attack is easily deflected by Beastbrother.

Aiko mutters something inaudible to herself as she backtracks and dashes over to the ladder on the east side of the structure, since she can't squeeze through to the interior while the narrow hallways are blocked.

Ashlana moves swiftly through the room towards the others. Stopping just inside the next the room, her eyes lock onto one of the goblins surrounding Beastbrother.
Hand feeling for her cards for comfort in another tense situation, she mutters a curse under her breath as she stares daggers at the attacking goblin.
Move: 30 ft. Standard: Targeting green goblin with Misfortune Hex, Will save dc 13.

As you get closer to the goblins you can tell they are visibly shaken, yet are blindly fighting you anyway. The green goblin has been cursed, it is not long for this world.
Other than the skirmish at the west side of the village, the remainder is still quiet. Caine does not notice any other activity.
Round 1 is over. Round 2 begins with Beastbrother.
