Countess Pace, the true villain of this adventure. She has clearly sacrificed to the dice gods to ensure that no one can figure out her true allegiances.
Woops, I missed that diplomacy is a influence skill for her, but given my roll, I guess I'm glad I tried something else first!
So far, only Kyralina and Cecilia have requested influence skills for NPCs.

Every NPC has multiple influence skills so it's possible to get more influence skills for each NPC.
Kalbio doesn't actually have any influence skills. He'll respond to pretty much anyone that talks to him.
Just letting you know I won't be able to post until tomorrow. Very busy day at work kept me from posting earlier and I have Halloween plans tonight.

Good enough rolls could turn it into a one person effort, especially if you wish to avoid bloodshed. You can talk Malphene down, though the DC is high (definitely not out of reach for you guys). But there is also the chance it turns into a brawl, unless you decide to take that option right away.

So, for a quick update, you all have successfully accomplished all of your tasks, along with several other milestones. There is not much else to accomplish at this Gala besides influencing other individuals. Is there anything specific that you would like to do while at the Gala?
There is space for more individual and area influences if you'd like. Olnaris, I will post towards your meeting with Germande shortly.
I thought the whole gala thing was very fun. Larin herself doesn't have any other new goals for the night, but I look forward to the wrap and results of the night (especially the event mentioned by the Strategos), as well as our "next steps".

Cecilia doesn't have any other goals for the night except for generic schmoozing. If there's no benefit to influencing people/rooms now that we're done, I'd say fast-forward to the next event.

Hey, just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing and make sure everyone is alright.
Highlight of my holiday, my 5-year-old decided he wanted to eat a whole turkey leg by himself. It was very entertaining to watch :)
Hehe they're always fun! My 4-year-old just wanted to eat sweets.
Things are well here, though hectic from the holiday (and not quite as hilarious as yours). I didn't realize it's actually been so long since I last posted for this game, I'll have something in this evening!

It's been while since we've had any posts, is everyone doing ok? I was kind of hoping to get at least a small post from everyone before moving on.
Doing fine. Went from Thanksgiving straight into finals, so I’ve had some hectic times.
Same, the night I said I was going to post I ended up spending on a paper instead and I've got a few more assignments to finish this week as well. From my experience lots of games slow down around this time.
The slowdown in posting has made me concerned that there's no longer interest in the game.
That being said, it makes sense that things should slow down around this time of year. It's the holidays, finals are coming/EOY projects are due, not to mention all the extra nonsense that 2020 has heaped upon us.
I don't want to ask for a post if it'll be the straw that breaks the camel's back, but I would also like to move the game along. We botted through the remainder of the Gala, but the AP does have some parts for PC interaction during the transition that I was going to stick with. We can keep botting through that or wait a bit until everyone is ready to start posting again. What do you guys think?

I'm very sorry for disappearing like that. I've been pretty sick for the past few weeks, and at this point don't expect to start feeling better anytime in the immediate future. Therefore I'm dropping out of all my games. (Which I had unofficially done anyway I guess.)
Again, I'm very sorry I didn't say anything sooner, I just kept hoping things would get better and I'd be able to rejoin. It was great playing with you all, and I wish you the best of luck.
