"Harbringer Vagarti, your hoard is impressive, no doubt equal to your knowledge of magical rituals. What exactly do you require from us in exchange for your help?"

"Hrmph. If it is not clear what treasure is to you, you have nothing worth adding to my hoard. This Sky Key is of little import to my duty. I can be rid of it with but a thought!"

A look of concentration twists his face, before he casts one hand to the sky, releasing a torrent of green energy up to join the dome above. He sits down heavily, his eyes slightly unfocused. "That was...unpleasant. What was I doing...?"

Helgar has a quick look at the man. He is wondering if the man was possessed or controlled by an outside source.

(Take 10 on Sense Motive is 25)

Helgar doesn't have to guess as he recalls the conversation before.

"Excellent work, Pathfinders. He's no threat to anyone now." Kreighton Shaine congratulates the party. "Let us hurry and find another of the Harbingers anchoring the time bubble. May they be as easy to deal with as this man."

Minutes Elapsed: 1d5 ⇒ 2

Making your way through the narrow streets, you finally come across another glowing figure, a Varisian man seated on the ground. He shuffles a deck of cards manically, an easy grin on his face as he lays down a Harrow.

Looking up at Daisley, he tilts his head to the side. "Mebbe I am, little miss Pathfinder. But you might not like the fate in store for you." Collecting the cards, he shuffles the deck expertly. "Perhaps you'd like a game of Towers?"

You recognize the game of chance commonly played on caravan trails and think you could influence him by playing with Bluff, Profession Gambler, or Sleight of Hand.

"Daisley, I have had some small experience in my day with these types of games and playing them with these types of men especially."

He grins wickedly and continues.

"Fine kind of men mind you, but do check your pockets twice before you leave if you have any sort of sense."

The Cleric brazenly calls down a minor miracle to help defeat his opponent.

Garmit can redirect his damage to whichever ooze he can reach. Let me know if Brethi has anything against the acid damage or grab.

Sadly, neither acid or grappling are on Brithi's list of immunities.
