Lilianne Nightshade
From what I understood, Aramyros took the glaive as no-one objected, so none of the NPCs except Aukan took anything before, unless I'm remembering wrong.
Here is that post
Also, Lilianne was gone at that point, so even if Nima had taken an item from there, Lilianne wouldn't know it, right?
Thorn Slivertip
At that point of time we were all in the vault.
Lots of things happening at that time.
It was during the 1st time Vault is open. I believe.

And Here
Not exactly Ethos Approved but....
However if that glaive makes her stab us, I'm stabbing back and with tears as well. Cause Thorn will face betrayal once more.
Lilianne Nightshade
I thought I had Lilianne leave to head back to the camp to get the wreath at that point. It took her 4 hours to come back. All of that happened while she was gone, I thought. But yeah, you are right, Blaze stopped her then.
Blaze Oriel
I brought this up out of character around that time too and was told that none of us are in the order yet. But Ethos still invited us to take stuff if we wanted. *shrugs*
Thorn Slivertip
So if these new NPC want to take stuff, We can't really stop them and if they still take stuff despite warnings and they get into trouble because of that. Don't drag the rest of us in.
Some of those curses are truly not party healthy.
GM Wolf
Oh you can stop them. Its call a diplomacy check, barring that you could disarm them, you could attack them, disable them, there are all sorts of options. You get to choose how you act. Sure Aukan seems to have the idea that they can take an item but you could also use logic opposing what he just read. I am giving you guys a chance to respond and such even before the girls begin to touch the items again. You could also flee the vault and remove the key locking them in the vault. Or you could just flee saying its all on them. Heck I can come up 100 different things you could do but YOU get to make your actions...
GM Wolf

Ok... I am back... wow I have been busy.
Ah Ha! What have I not been doing?! We went to Spokane, did a bunch of shopping. Then in the evenings I spent a lot of time with my son, just playing and having fun! Work side, I have been slacking on grades and trying to catch up with that. I have NCCE webinars and Whole Child Virtual Summit videos to watch. I got a hair cut today. Yesterday I survived through school but by then my stomach had gotten completely rotten, like a one day flu... It could have been the food I ate... food poisoning... at least it was mild. Still on the mend from that and preparing to teach a new section of Science which does take a lot more prep than normal. Yeah I haven't had much time to post in the last two days. I switched my day around so I am back in work to do prep and with a functioning computer to easily do posts.
GM Wolf
I have to apologize again... there is just so much on my plate right now. I hope to get a post up tomorrow. We will see! I am swamped with grades, extra work, trainings, and more grades. I was able to see my uncle I haven't seen in 6 months... and that was really my free night. Time will tell. I know next week I should get more posts in with spring break.
Thorn Slivertip
I'm hoping Wolf is alright and nothing has happened to him.
GM Wolf
*He awakens from so much.*
At least that is how I feel. I am sorry and apologize for the three week absence. First off grade put a damper on everything. Next my spring break was the opposite of how I felt I would have time. It was nice being in the 90+ degree weather in Arizona with a pool nearby. I was occupied with family on the first two days as we celebrated Easter. Also these family members we haven't seen for years. The rest of the week was not as packed but I took time to just enjoy being with family. Lastly, we get back and sickness hits my wife hard and I have to step up that much more to take care of our son. We do get home but not when I was expecting and had to cram to get grades done. Then this week I got sick, likely from all the stress and late nights. I finally feel back to my normal today. Allergies are still present! Ahhhh!
I hope to get in a few posts today for all my games. Especially those still stuck in combat. I would appreciate a quick check in post to make sure all players are still around and ready to play. Included in that post you can add how you are liking the present mode of the game. I know some of the games have kinda been railroaded and if you want to get more back to the main plot of the game or whatnot I would like to know.
I hope this finds you all in good health and ready to get back to the games!
Thorn Slivertip
Here.
Glad to see that you're alright.
Lilianne Nightshade
There is some confusion here, at least I think there is.
1) I thought Aukan volunteered to attack from a cliff. The point was to be ranged and to shoot the enemy to get them to either take cover or to come after him. Either way, to distract.
2) The second phase was once the goblins went to attack Aukan or run for cover, our group would approach from the southern treeline safely to scale the wall with our ramp. Those fleeing the fort would be caught by the dire panther at the front gate while the rest would be shot by Alia. Instead, now he is attacking a tower?
3) Now Aukan, instead of using ranged from the high cliff, has jumped down and engaged in melee?
Also, if you are waiting for us to post, I already posted our approach and rolled a sneak to do so. So are we acting in the surprise round? Round 1? Round 2?
Thorn Slivertip
I'm not sure where we're attacking now.
Seems like the plan went off the rails.
GM Wolf
Lilianne Nightshade
Alright, I'm okay with that. If he wants to improvise, that's his choice. Each choice has consequences. Also, your map is on view only, so we can't move our pieces. If that is where Aukan is attacking from, we likely will try to come in more from the north or south. The point of the ramp is to not pop up where Aukan is.
Thorn Slivertip
Map on View can't move avatars.
And now I hope he doesn't get us all killed.
Lilianne Nightshade
Just keep in mind, GM Wolf, that I have a Mesmeric Mirror on Lilianne and Andrei, so if the goblins do attack either of us just keep that in mind, it is like a mirror image spell with 2 images.
Lilianne Nightshade
I'd prefer to wait to post my round 4 actions until I see what I'm facing. Sorry. I'll wait for your posts and stick to the round we are in.
GM Wolf
If you want I can move the map back to round 4. The goblin with a solid red border was unhurt, you were adjacent to him and south of him.
I calculated 6 ways for you to get close enough to the chief and that was the most logical spot where you would end up. Is your speed greater than 30 feet?
Is there a different spell or attack you would use being more than 15 feet away from the chief?
---
On a different note, I am trying to move things along. Though feel free to see the history and we can do a recon for round 4 if you want.
Lilianne Nightshade
I killed the initial goblin when I came into the camp (took off his head) near the tents. Then I moved up to the upper tents where I thought the chief was and killed the goblin there (turned out it was his bodyguard according to you). At this point, no one was near my character and it became round 4. The goblin chief was in the center of the camp still (near the tower in the middle) so I moved next to him and cast a spell. From where I was up by the top of the camp, it was a 25ft move. Your calculations are based on the chief moving in round 4, but my initiative is before his and at the time of my move, he was still in the center. Now it's round 5, my spell did nothing apparently, and he can move at least 80ft a round with haste (double move), so let's just move on. I rolled my 5th round attack.
In round 5, what attacks am I taking and how much damage total do I take?
GM Wolf
Right I remember those kills! I see where I made a mistake, the red one is the second goblin you killed it just was not Xed out. Sorry about that. So no AoO from it.
Yes you said you wanted to get the cheif but it would have taken you two move actions to get there, no charge was possible. So I had you hit the next closest target, which was the red goblin.
Round 3
Lilianne charges forward but won't be able to get to the chief this round, instead goes for one of his guards. A portly goblin with some shiny metal armor that looks to big for him, possibly built for an orc or human. Though that armor did not help him as you cut this one's head off too!
One goblin that was standing next to his chief with a spear steps up and jabs at Lilianne over its fallen goblin. Lilianne can see several goblins breaking for the front gates but more advance on you and Aukan.
The chief waves his hands and casts an obvious spell upon the goblins nearby and they all begin to move and act more quickly than normal. Including the chief who then drops off the back of the raised platform and moves away with the others. Bold Green is cheif.
** spoiler omitted **
Round 4Thorn moves up and lashes at the goblin behind Lilianne, smacking it with his mace and the goblin is visibly shaken by the blow.
** spoiler omitted **
So in Round 3, the chief cast haste, and moved 40 feet away.
In Round 4, he double moves away with the other goblins around him.
Anyways we will continue on...
---
Round 5 Lilianne gets hit by two bolts taking 5 damage.
GM Wolf
Lilianne then will take up a position behind a tent, ready to spring out at any wolf-like creature that comes into sight.
[dice=Stealth]1d20+10
Ready attack option
Based off of this post I thought you moved behind a tent and moved you. You didn't move her but yet you said you moved.
Lilianne Nightshade
I see. I forgot to move her, and I suppose I didn't specify that she was moving more toward the tent at the gate where those who would come into the camp would run past her so she could attack them. I just saw her positioned strangely and wondered why she was moved at all because it didn't look like she was hiding behind a tent to me. Now that you've explained it, it makes sense. Forgive me.
Thorn Slivertip
Take some time to recover.
I'll be here.
Thorn Slivertip
WB wolf.
GM Wolf
Thanks! With summer free time you would think I would have all day to post... sadly no. My responsibilities continue even more! Taking care of son, playing with him, and just helping out means I have little free times. Then I go to sleep when he does normally. Morning seems the best time!
How is everyone else doing? Who is still here? Is Aramyros stalking around? I haven't seen Blaze recently either!
Thorn, Andrei, and Lilianne. Anyone else?!
Andrei Fidecupe
Andrei is still here. IRL, I got a new job working 12-hour days, so I'm sometimes a zombie, tired in front of my computer screen, but I'm interested to see where this campaign goes.
Thorn Slivertip
I'm facing another likely lockdown so..........yeah I'm still here.
