Baahir Saber |

Baahir isn't so crafty but he can fire dance a little, begrudgingly so.

Lilianne Nightshade |

So I think we are all tied in wisdom among Baahir, Blaze, Andrei and I. Since I already rolled an assist, who wants to roll the main profession (carpentry) to build up the base? The rest can roll assists. I'm sure none of us are trained, but we can add a +1 from guidance too.

Nazetoz Da'Zhar |

Can't we roll craft checks instead? Surely we'll need a bit of both. Nazetoz got a +4 modifier for that.

Thorn Slivertip |

If it helps.
Thorn has Crafter's fortune prepared and with guidance can push craft to +8.
Though I know Craft(Woodworking) will be a trained skill.

Lilianne Nightshade |

I don’t see why you guys can’t roll. My bonus to help is lower , but here goes
1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 + 1 = 10

Baahir Saber |

I gotta practice my stake building anyways.
Craft: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Thorn Slivertip |

Craft 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
With Crafter's Fortune.

Nazetoz Da'Zhar |

Crafter's fortune isn't personal, so you can target me. Assuming guidance and crafter's fortune:
craft with fortune and guidance: 1d20 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 5 + 1 = 30
craft with fortune and guidance: 1d20 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 5 + 1 = 18
craft with fortune and guidance: 1d20 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 5 + 1 = 14
craft with fortune and guidance: 1d20 + 4 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 5 + 1 = 30

Lilianne Nightshade |

Either way, quite high results with all of us helping. In the end, it should be quite a significant encampment!

Thorn Slivertip |

Crafter's fortune isn't personal, so you can target me. Assuming guidance and crafter's fortune:
[dice=craft with fortune and guidance] 1d20+4+5+1
[dice=craft with fortune and guidance] 1d20+4+5+1
[dice=craft with fortune and guidance] 1d20+4+5+1
[dice=craft with fortune and guidance] 1d20+4+5+1
Unfortunately...they're extracts so I can't target you with it.........

Nazetoz Da'Zhar |

Ah right, you don't have infusion.

Thorn Slivertip |

Done. one strength check coming up.

Blaze Oriel |

So asssuming last light ~18:00.
Double staggered, all get 8+hrs sleep.
18:00-20:00 Andrei, Lillianne
20:00-22:00 Lillianne, Aramyros
22:00-00:00 Aramyros, Nazetoz
00:00-02:00 Nazetoz, Blaze
02:00-04:00 Blaze, Baahir
04:00-06:00 Baahir, Thorn
This can pair us up with people we want one on one chats with and makes sure everyone can get the sleep they need. This is just an example, though it is better generally to put humans and low-light vision closer to twilight and dawn and the darkvisions in the middle. And since we have 7 people as opposed to six, some can take light duty or maybe a rotating day off. ^_~
Whatcha think?

Thorn Slivertip |

Looking back to Thorn, she will address his gathering of food."What did you manage to grab?"
Hopefully, in his gathering of food, he was smart enough to segregate it with wrappings of napkins. She would love fruit, but will not eat his food if its mash potatoes smushed between everything. In fact, if that were the case, she may treat him as a madman.
Ooohhh The temptation to go full fey.....here
I'm sure Thorn has the bottles of gin and wine as for food......I'm not sure what Thorn has managed to grab so...just what we had in his packs and cooking Kit. Assuming those meat and vegetables were grabbed.

Thorn Slivertip |

I'm sure you would be pleased with Thorn's ability to scavenge food here for now........

Thorn Slivertip |

These two?
The automaton slowly follows you. First fixing the broken ladder's rung. Climbing up after you. Seeing the fire it walks over to the tree line and searches for loose wood. Then slowly brings it over to be placed in the pile of fire wood.
** spoiler omitted **
** spoiler omitted **
Once it is confirmed that action is what you want it then begins doing it 3 times faster. Collecting wood, bringing it to the pile, laying it down then getting more.
You all wake up well rested and see a huge pile of firewood and the construct standing next to it frozen in place.

Nazetoz Da'Zhar |

I've been very busy past couple of days, sorry. I'll try to keep up better, though now I'm busy at work..
I think we should get the automaton to build for us and I was thinking to post about that...

Lilianne Nightshade |

I myself am not sure what posts we are disregarding. The only one that I noticed was the cellars post with the described items, and that was only because I was waiting for Blaze to post as she was first in.

Blaze Oriel |

My weekend was busy with shopping for Back to School stuff and visiting with a RL friend. I'm working on my post now!

Lilianne Nightshade |

"Is everyone fine with me using a bit of the fire-wood? I would like to form a small pyre for Henry Joneston. I don't know his life but what he left behind has proven to be a boon for us...and I don't like remains laying about."
I just wanted to make sure this was said while Thorn and Lilianne were gone hunting in your post. If not, was this asked after they return? I just wanted to clarify as you said "everyone". I'm not blatantly ignoring it. I just was assuming we left by that time. If that isn't the case, let me know and I'll surely respond!

Baahir Saber |

Baahir would have waited for the whole group to be together, not wanting to use any supplies without hearing them out.

Lilianne Nightshade |

Okay, I'll respond when we figure out what this mysterious person is that her and Thorn are seeing, as it may change what we do.

Thorn Slivertip |

Gonna think about my post.
New memory uncovered!

GM Wolf |

Message to all games:
I AM A LITTLE FED UP WITH THIS... IF I AM SLACKING ON POSTING TALK TO ME! IN ALL MY GAMES I EXPECT YOU TO POST AT LEAST ONCE A DAY! I AM ON THE VERGE OF CLOSING DOWN SOME OF MY CAMPAIGNS FOR LACK OF PARTICIPATION! I SHOULDNT HAVE TO MESSAGE YOU, PLEASE CHECK YOUR GAME AT LEAST ONCE A DAY!
I am just making a blanket statement to all games, so you can't say I didn't tell you. Some games are better you should know who you are but even in those games we have people who are slacking!!!
Honestly I feel bad about most of my games, a little bit of encouragement would go a long way!!!

Baahir Saber |

I will admit I struggle a bit, lately. It has been quite a long time since I have played anything but Society play, so shaking off cobwebs for something more freeform is taking a bit. My apologies but I am enjoying it quite a lot, regardless.

GM Wolf |

Okay, I can totally understand that. Thank you for sharing your opinion. If you have any questions at all you can ask them here, seriously there is no stupid question. If you have one someone else likely has it too.
"Ooooh look a corndog. Why is a corndog doing in the sea? I am going to bite it...." Still not stupid just funny! XD

Thorn Slivertip |

It's bait Ah tell ya. It's bait! Dem Shark's taken up fishing!

Nazetoz Da'Zhar |

I'm sorry, I should have said something. Things have been really crazy in real life lately. This was the last campaign I joined and as such it has gotten bottom priority. I'll withdraw now to have time for my other games, sorry.

Blaze Oriel |

I thought as much. Should have expected some Jason Momoa elf look-alike to waltz in, show off his blade, talk his way into a tiefling's tent and then disappear the next morning like smoke on the wind. XD
Kidding! ...mostly =P
Seriously though, GMing a game takes up more bandwidth than just playing in one, so I hope that continues to go well for you and good luck, see ya 'round the boards, oyzar. ^_^

For my part, I'm really loving this game. I did my best to draw up a truly Crimson Knight and I think I succeeded. The dialogue here with all the players has been top notch, and Blaze is wholeheartedly looking forward to burning some Goblins with you all and hopefully not being eaten by a dragon. ^_~

Hurrah!!!

Thorn Slivertip |

Hmmm the only forest of Note in Irrisen is
Hoarwood Forest
Crowtop would be an abandoned village in the Irriseni province of Hoarwood
Thundering River links to another forest.
Based on Needed Geography which requires the following;
Goblins
Vines
Fey or what's left of them
Dragons. yes Dragons or Linnorms. Still big huge Scaly reptiles what'll eat you.
Elves?
Trees. Lots of trees to hide and burn in.
We are likely in Southmoor
Or all of you got caught in Thorn's infamous Time eddies and we ended up in............
Iobaria

Yes, sorry. I meant to get something posted on this yesterday but ran out steam before I finished it.
While the GM hasn't specifically defined what kind of weather we arrived in, I got the general impression it was still temperate and green. If so, we can't be in Irrisen, since it's locked in an eternal, unnatural winter, covered in ice and snow all year long.
It's also pretty cold in the Land of Linnorm Kings, but they do have proper seasons, so we could be there as long as it's Spring/Summer. I had also targeted Grungir Forest as a possibility, same area as Southmoor.
Also it could be Lurkwood, a forest in Northern Varisia that has a weird time thing too. There is also a connection to elves and strange vines via Wormwood.

Andrei Fidecupe |

If so, Andrei may know the area.

Blaze Oriel |

Just to clarify, Blaze's heated skin is mostly just characterization fluff. Sort of an RP lead-up to her defensive talent. She will gain the Searing Flesh defensive ability at 4th level, but even then she will be able to dismiss it so she doesn't scorch people with hugs! Well, not friends anyway... XD
Element(s) fire; Type defense (Su); Level —; Burn 0
Your body becomes painfully hot. Whenever a creature hits you with a natural attack or an unarmed strike, that creature takes 1 point of fire damage per 4 kineticist levels you possess (minimum 1 point of fire damage). A creature in a grapple with you takes double this amount of damage at the end of each of its turns.
Weapons that strike you also take this damage, though the damage is unlikely to penetrate the weapon’s hardness. By accepting 1 point of burn, you can increase this damage by 1 point per 4 kineticist levels you possess until the next time your burn is removed. You can increase the damage in this way up to seven times.
Whenever you accept burn while using a fire wild talent, the surging flame causes your searing flesh to deal double its current amount of damage for 1 round (a creature in a grapple with you takes a total of four times as much damage as normal). You can dismiss or restore this effect as an immediate action.

Baahir Saber |

Blaze and I worked on a larger list, I will dig up the post.
Looks like a Chirurgeon's Kit, Whetstones, and Fireward Gel is what we added to the list.
---
Baahir will likely start to help Aramyros with securing our site as it seems the automaton struggles with something that intricate. He is no craftsmen but together they can probably at least make some type of wooden spike wall to deter a mass charge of gobbos.

Thorn Slivertip |

A dossier?
oooh. Who got it?
