The captain looks away. "I wish I did. I managed to cut him deeply, then Sanduro used his lightning... but then he vanished and disappeared. Teleportation I think. I'm not sure If I could have done something to stop it."
"...Still, I'm sorry, all of you. We fought on my urging and I failed to finish it. I suppose... all we can do is find whatever information remains here, then warn the surrounding tows and Vigil of this threat. I pray to the Lord of Seasons that he is either too injured or rattled to blow up another village. Or worse."

As the others back away Rosalind grits her teeth and endures the thousand cuts as the whirlwind of bone slowly lacerates and pierces her skin again and again. It doesn't escape her attention that this would be an excruciating way to die--another marker of Quietus' cruelty.
It's a total of 40dmg spread across 6 rounds
With the immediate threats resolved, the rest of you begin a quick search of the room. Now that you have time to look, you can appreciate the carved mahogany desk depicting knights and priests striking down monsters and fiends, while a thick rug (now bloodstained and scorched) covers the floor. A round wooden table and two shelves filled with religious texts and icons take up the room's corner and walls.
The desk shows signs of a hasty packing; an inkwell has been spilled, and several sheets of parchments have been torn to shreds and scattered about the room. It seems Quietus anticipated that he might need to beat a hasty retreat and gathered up or destroyed whatever documentation he'd had.
Ketra Driscoll
Ketra sighs at the result of the fight "We'll have to be careful. Quietus didn't seem like someone who would take a loss well. He might be back with friends to try to finish us off. We've got his weird gem after all." She looks around the room but keeps a knife at hand in case of sudden teleporting maniacs.
She peeks in to the southern room as well, looking for anything Quietus may have left behind. Her mind is already starting toward the next steps - bringing a warning to people who can do something about large scale disasters. And for that purpose any notes or journals or letters would certainly help. He couldn't have been *that* thorough in destroying everything...

"Agreed, we should be ready - and hope he does," Rosalind says as she stands up from her prayer position with some difficulty - the wounds of the teeth swarm were worse than she thought. "Here, just in case he is back," she says, and repeats her channeling of positive energy from earlier. Her injuries disappear nearly instantly, as do those of Sandru. Ketra's vitality also returns after her brush with death.

Enough to fully heal everyone in the party to their max hp across two rounds (44 x 2 hp and 48 x 2 hp)
Once finished, she joins the search, looking under the rug, inspecting the bookcase of religious texts, but most importantly perhaps - gathering the scraps of torn parchment from the floor. When all visible ones have been collected, she mutters the incatation of the basic Mending spell, hoping that would restore the letters to a readable state without the hassle of manually piecing them all together. Of course, the spell required that every part of the letter was found...
If nothing happens, I'll try and piece together the torn documentation when we have more time/ reach a safer environment.
Finally, she begins a thorough investigation of the cabinets, bookshelves, walls and floor of the room for anything hidden, including using her magic to sense any magical items out of reach. Using detect magic as part of the serach.
searching the room for anything hidden: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
GM CrusaderWolf
Rosalind's search of the room is quick and thorough; she finds a false bottom in the desk (now empty) that was likely used by the original priests of the temple, and gathers enough of the shredded documents to form several complete sheets of parchment. Unfortunately she does need to manually reassemble the shredded documents before the mending magic can do its work--this requires several painstaking minutes but yields one item of value: a letter.
Quietus,
Time grows short, wrap up your research and make your way to Vigil.
The Great Lord's preparations continue apace, and the appointed hour
draws near at long last. You can turn over your findings when we contact
you, and bring your best and most subtle knives. There are loose threads
in need of tying off, and crows whose necks need wringing.

A note for spell durations: all of this has probably taken the party ~5min since Quietus teleported away
Ketra Driscoll
Ketra reads around Rosa's shoulder "Well, we know where he's going next. And it's where we wanted to go next too. I don't know who Y is, but they're probably twice as powerful and three times as miserable." Ketra shakes her head "In which case we should probably not take any longer than we need to."
She heads back to the hallway and listens out for anything approaching, then turns back to wave the party forth.

Ketra's suggestion meets with no disagreement, so you fold up the recovered letter and return to the room where Silvia is guarding Jando and Mirhet. After a tense exchange where the paladin quizzes you all to be certain there is no trick, she lowers her rifle and allows you in. All three of them search your faces for confirmation of your victory--your explanation is met by grimaces and disappointed sighs.
"It is good that you destroyed the walking dead, though. The cult leader...well it is in the gods' hands." Mirhet offers; it's not clear if she's trying to comfort you or herself. She and Silvia help a weak and shaky Jando to his feet, and you all make your slow way back down the stairs.
Reaching the ground floor, you usher your injured members through several rooms out to the nave, preparing to leave the cathedral again--but stop short, confronted by a startling sight. Quietus stands in the large space at the southern end of the room, and he is far from alone. A pair of large yellow-eyed mountain lions--each boasting four tails--flank the cult leader, and it seems the cult thugs you killed have returned for a rematch, greying flesh and ragged wounds betraying their now-undead nature. Even the giggling, gasping crypt thing that evaded you earlier capers in place near one of the nave's pillars, eyeing you all with deranged glee.
"Finally! I thought perhaps I'd need to come hunting for you." Quietus calls. Though the tear in his suit remains, the cut beneath it appears to have been healed. "It seems the powers that be have a taste for the dramatic, or perhaps Sarenrae merely wishes to bear witness to you demise. Return the fetoring maw and I promise to make your deaths quick. Relatively."

Rosalind exchanges a look with Garret and quickly casts a spell!
Channel Vigor. I figure if that also gets dispel magic'd it's another one Quietus does not have for the fireballs.
"Thank you, Lord of Claws, Lady Inheritor, for this gift of a second chance. It will not go to waste," She says, then immediately attacks! "Get the injured ones back inside!" She calls to whomever was in charge of shepharding the injured as she closes in on the enemy.
If the spell goes through, the Channel Vigor effect on herself is haste. With the minute/level buffs still having one minute of duration per discord, protection from evil (and expeditious retreat) are also still up. This would give her a +3 to all AC forms vs evil, a +1 extra reflex save, a +1 extra resistance bonus to all saves and the heroism effect from that spell (+2 morale to attacks, all saves, skills). Or, in statline: AC 27/FF 26/12, all extra +2 vs evil, S: F+10, R+7, W +10, +1 all vs evil.

Finally filed the *#&(% brief I’ve been working on all month.
Sanduro’s eyes widen at the foes spread out before him. “Well, that’s not great. Lady of Graves, help us put down these unliving abominations!”
With his quick prayer, Sanduro casts crypt burning sands, covering a large section of the nave around Quietus and his minions with shifting sand. Bursts of flame erupt randomly throughout the area (yellow ellipse on the map).
Duration: 7 rounds. The area is difficult terrain, and deals 1d4 points of fire damage to any creature that ends its turn in contact with the ground within the area of effect (no save). Any undead creature damaged by a crypt spell is sickened for a number of rounds equal to the spell’s original level (1 round in this case); a DC 14 Will save halves the duration. A living creature killed by a crypt spell is treated as having been killed by a death effect.
Ketra Driscoll
Ketra waves Silvia, Mirhet and Jando back, worried that they might be caught in the crossfire in their weakened states. To Quietus she just says "I don't think that's likely. For either of our parts."
Unfortunately, I've not only got no good fight-opening goodies to toss out, but I'm basically tapped out on resources. If it were up to me, I'd suggest retreating and letting the (presumably mindless) portion of the enemy forces get bottlenecked somewhere. Since we've got some aoe left over, that may not be necessary.

Assuming the cultists are clearly undead, I'll use undead bane here. (round 4 of 7 for the day)
Magically fast, Rosalind moves to intercept the cultists moving up the left flank, hoping and trusting her allies could hold off the strangely yellow cat thing and the already singed undead. The cultists close in just as Rosalind sees Quietus stumble around in the background, quickly gaining his bearings. She again contemplates rushing him, even injured as she was - whether his death was worth hers, perhaps even all of theirs, so long as he couldn't use whatever he had on their town anywhere else.
But then the animated cultists begin viciously knifing Sanduro right behind her and she finds she can't leave him to his fate. No one would die again under her watch. Over her second dead body!
Shifting backward, she quickly heals both herself and him and urges him to withdraw! "Back into the building! Leave them to us!"

This action provokes from blue in a non-flanked position. It then heals both Rosalind and Sanduro for 40. I'll study blue as a swift action and Bane fades this round, leaving 2 rounds available for the day.

As Sanduro staggers and loses his spell, Rosalind turns and heals her new ally, casually swatting aside the surprised cultist's attempt to stab her. As both their wounds close the cultists and cats alike hiss is frustration--and perhaps a bit a fear.
Quietus for his part fumbles at one of the pockets of his long coat, producing a vial and drinking down its contents. Immediately most of the burns on his face clear up, and he blinks rapidly while holding out his hand wiggling his fingers to test his returning vision.

Ketra finds herself in a "target rich environment". Unable to see much beyond the blades of the zombies that surround her, she ducks and dodges as fights back as best she can while hoping the others are managing to deal with Quietus well enough. Her next two strikes slash out at the more injured of the two flanking her in hopes of finishing one off.

Ketra attempts to counterattack, but finds herself too focused on defense to land an effective blow. Changing tactics, SanduroBOT draws his sickle and catches one of the cultists off guard enough for a light slash.
Ketra's step away pulls the attention of one cultist who attempts a futile slash before he turns back to join his fellow--though Sanduro parries the stab that comes his way as well. The other two launch further attacks against Rosalind, and perhaps she's getting hired as well for one strike does slip through.
Ketra's relative isolation from her comrades draws the nekomatas' attention and the cats rush in. Their bites are vicious but ill-aimed and the dancer evades them both...for now...

Finished with her healing, Rosalind finds herself absolutely surrounded by undead!
"Just how I like it."
She grins and begins destroying the abominations!
Swift: reactivate undead bane, attack.
attack, undead bane, haste, heroism, -2 PA, vs FF?: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27

The scroll should be DC14 I believe, Garret. 10 base, +3 for the spell level, +1 for minimum assumed casting stat of 13.
Garret unlocks the magic of the scroll in his hand, sending a wave of paralyzing compulsion washing over the undead cultists. One of them (P3) shakes off the arcane effect, but its two companions both lock into place! Rosalind wastes no time in taking advantage of their vulnerability, and in two flashes of her blade only a single zombified cultist remains.
His light attitude entirely gone, Quietus stares with unmitigated hatred at Rosalind and extends a hand towards her. "To think: had any ofyou fought this hard the last time we met, you might have saved your town. Your wrath comes far too late." He clenches his outstretched hand into a fist and Rosalind feels her bones splinter as pain shoots through her body, but she grits her teeth and pushes back against the magic.

Missing the remaining cultist with a weary slash, Rosalind finally takes a moment to study the great cats--and recognizes them as supernatural creatures called nekomata. Stepping up to confront the monster, Rosalind finds new strength in her arms and deals it a nasty cut.
Per the discord, your questions about Nekomata (NE medium magical beasts, Shapechanger subtype):
Hit Dice: 8HD
Defenses: Immunity to ability damage, ability drain, death effects, disease, energy drain, fear, negative energy
Special Attacks: Nekomata's bites carry a wasting disease that degrades mind and body alike (Con and Wis tracks), they also have SLAs but the specifics would be a separate question
Peering through the doorway, Garret drops another surge of celestial light on a pair of his foes. The wounded zombie cultist is blasted to dust and the nekomata burned though not blinded.
Quietus rolls his eyes at Rosalind's bravado. "Humanity has no decency, whatever you may pretend. The peace of the grave is it's fate, and all it deserves besides." With a murmur and a flick of his wrist, he sends a fusillade of unerring bolts winging into the knight, each landing like a well-aimed punch in rapid succession.
