Okay. I'm guessing you're still waiting on Bariel because his name is in bold? Anyway, here are his actions.

Bariel grips his trident more tightly and swings at the swarm, "I know you're just defending your nest, but I won't let you harm my friends!"

Trident: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 piercing

He swings again, more trying to disperse the ravens than do actual damage:

Trident, second attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 piercing

Then he raises his shield.

The river warrants investigation, as it would pose an obstacle to any trade caravan passing through. It flows swiftly but is not too broad.

Swimming across is a DC 15 Swim check.

Things to do here:

• Identify local wildlife. A stream attracts many animals, including predators, but could provide a good resting place for a caravan. This is a Survival or Nature check.

• Identify local plant life to see if the stream would be a good resting spot for a caravan. Pack animals are often not picky eaters and might accidentally ingest poisonous plants. This is a Nature check or a Herbalism Lore check.

• Chart the terrain with Cartography Lore, Scribing Lore, or Crafting check.

• Find the best place to ford the stream. This is a Nature, Hills, Mountain or Scouting Lore check. Someone brave could also try to find a fordable spot by trial and error with an Acrobatics check.
•• After finding the best place to ford the stream, they can improve it with an Athletics check, to move boulders into better positions.

• Select a bridge location with a Craft check.
•• After selecting a good spot for a bridge, they can try to improvise a bridge themselves rather than leaving it all to the NPC engineering team. A sturdy improvised bridge would need at least two lengths of rope. Making the bridge is a Craft check.

These are not secret checks, but you can each only do one at a time, so each of you can choose an activity and make a roll.

Zoosh jumps into the river and starts splashing around. He swims quite well, but seems like he's more interested in having fun than finding a place to cross. When Mylow asks him if he's done with his task, he stops swimming and answers, "Done with what task?" Mylow notices that Zoosh is standing on some stream bed rocks that would make an excellent ford.

Teja starts charting out the terrain, but doesn't get very far before she realizes that she doesn't know all the cartography drawing conventions and it will take more time than she anticipated. Fortunately, Arlo is around and his knowledge of scribing covers some of her initial errors. Together, the two finish the map.

Bariel looks around and picks a nice spot that looks like a great resting spot without any predators. He lies down for a breather, and gets bitten by fire ants. He realizes he has to find another place.

Zonk chews on random plants. After licking, tasting, and masticating every single plant in the area, he declares the vegetation safe for consumption!
