Theron quickly takes out the barking animal, while Lybran's arrow goes straight through the thugs shoulder. The rest of the team prepares to strike, as suddenly Nessian comes out of invisibility to strike at Grakkahn. "You can't stop what's coming! You're already too late! Taaaaake this!" as he swings with a flait at the wizard-fighter.
Flail: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 2 = 241d6 + 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + (6) + 3 = 14
The other two thugs move at Theron.

Grakkahn grunts as the flail crashes into his gut. Stumbling back from the force of the blow, he takes a wild swing with his glaive at the surprise assailant but catches naught but air. He spits blood on the ground. Maybe I should have been a Priest of Shelyn like mom said...
He groans.

Ha! That was unexpected.

Iladora moves up to purple and strikes, hoping to cleave the flail into useless pieces.

Seeing Grakkahn take the flai hit. Lybram pulls out his wand as he moves over to him. He taps him with it.

"Repay him in kind, Grkkahn"

Theron cleaves through both of the thugs with a mighty swing, as they both fall down, bleeding out of their wounds. Both Iladora and Grakkahn step forward, but Nessian knocks away both of their attacks. He does not avoid the crossbow bold, from Alton however. "Ha, you call yourselves Pathfinders? Quit while you're ahead!" The foe spits some more slurs your way, before swinging at Grahhahn once more, before taking a step back.
Flail: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
He misses.

Grakkahn gives Lybram a smile before skirting around Nessian. "You admit that we're winning, then?!" he quips. Spinning his Glaive overhead, he brings it down in a diagonal slash across the man's back.
________
Songbird's Talon (Flank) vs Purple: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 2 = 201d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
GM, if it is ok with you, I've moved Grakkahn off of the map to flank. If that isn't cool, his attack roll is two fewer and he'll be one space to the right of his current position.

Hold on, do we know this is Nessian? We need his book!
"I've been cursed by far worse than you. You're outarmed and outnumbered. You may now surrender."

Alton reloads and fires.
"Wow I'm pretty good with this thing!"
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
He frowns as the bolt flies up into the air.

Lybram stows his wand and moves over readying his mace as he goes.

Only Grakkahn is able to land a swing in, as the man is too focused on the group in front of him. He spits at Iladora's suggestion to surrender. "How dare you! Besides, there is no way you could decode the code book, if even I, the mighty Nessian could not do so! I mean...taaaaake this!" The man keeps swinging violently at Grakkahn, and you realise he is not going to surrender without a fight.

Flail: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
...and he falls over, unconsious.
Combat over! Congratulations! Final post tomrrow morning.

With Nessian defeated, you are able to search his hideout and find the code book to stop the Silent Tide invasion. Though only few will be aware of your bravery, you stopped the Silent Tide and saved Absalom from a potentially devastating attack. Better still you brought Nessian and his War Hounders to justice.
Exhausted, after running around on this wild goose chance all night, Yargos joins the group in celebration, [b]"If it wasn't for you, i'm sure this city would have fallen into some dark times.
