Hello! Thanks for taking a moment and checking this out.
A few months ago, my friends bought the Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, and Bestiary for me. Life has made the prospect of a face-to-face game complicated, but it's given me time to read those books. And I'm hooked! I've been itching to try running a game, so I bought the pocket edition of Rise of the Runelords. I've read most of it, and I can't wait to play it.
I wound up here, and read some articles about play-by-post campaigns. That sounds right up my alley! So here I am, with a semi-working knowledge of the rules and a general idea of how to run this thing.
Before I go any farther, I wanna say that I'm committed to finishing the first book AT LEAST. Even if I decide I don't wanna do this at some point, we'll get through at least the first book before I call it quits. And every book we start, we'll finish. Pinky promise. And I've only got two of those, so you know I take them seriously.
- Go Read Doomed Hero's and Painlord's posts about play-by-posting in the General Discussion, if you haven't already. I'll be modeling this after the free advice available there.
- Be Patient. I'm new to this, and I'm gonna mess stuff up. I know this game's been around for a bit, and I know some of y'all are gonna know this stuff inside and out. I'll get there if you give me time.
- Post Post Post. Once people stop talking, everything breaks down. Any time you're working on something as a team. I'll hold you to the same standard I'll be holding myself: Post at least once a day, and more than that if you can. I know that I can post at least twice a day. If that is too frequent for you, you might want to skip on this. No hard feelings, I hope. I'm hoping for a specific pace, and I don't want either of us to feel like things are out of step.
- Be Constructive. I have limited TTRPG experience, but I am very familiar with RP in general. It's a social form of play, and so you have to approach the play space with the intention of being social. Be diplomatic, mind your manners, and make your posts something the next person can build off of. YES AND.
- Rules. I am still learning a lot here. I have a pretty good understanding of what to do, and I'm going to follow the rules the best I can. Sometimes the rules are a little unclear, and I will have to interpret the designers' intent. If you have problems with my interpretations, we can talk about it. But the game will move forward while we talk about it on the side.
- Be neighborly. Be kind and compassionate to one another. Remember that there's a person on the other side of that avatar with feelings as rich and complex as your own. We all look different, have different backgrounds and identities, love different people, fight for different causes, and so on. But we all have the same heart. We all want love and acceptance. We all want respect and belonging. Keep that in mind before you hit that reply button.
- 15 Point Buy
- Core "Civilized" Races Only
- Only Official Paizo Pathfinder 1e material.
a. Please don't get too buckwild on this. I'll do my very best to learn about everything your characters can do. But if you make some wild submission that pulls from 20 different books - I'm just being honest here - I'm gonna skip it.
- Two Traits, but one of them should be a RotR campaign trait. UNLESS! You give me a compelling backstory that fleshes out why they are starting at the Swallowtail Festival. Then take whatever traits you want.
- A minimum 10 sentence backstory. It's gonna take a while to get through this thing if we do all six books. Show me those writing skills!
I'm the wonderful Lady Paracosmic! I'm 26 years old. I am a humble gas station clerk, keeping all manner of vices flowing during the graveyard shift. Before this, I was a barista for years. I love reading, exercise, and just being a nocturnal goof. I live a simple life, and a happy one.
Recruitment will go on til the 28th! I'm looking for 4 people to start. We'll start playing on June 1st.

Welcome to the best hobby there is!
A great resource for you will be Archives of Nethys which is the official Paizo system reference document. There is the old unofficial srd, d20pfsrd, but it also has 3rd party material and doesn't use copyrighted terms so a lot of it is iffy.
I have wanted to go through Rise since I started playing PF; I've had some build in mind over the years so I'll sift through them and see which ones aren't too overwhelming.

Hi. I've never played a Play by Post on Paizo and would like to since this is the birthplace of Pathfinder. I've been playing IRL for about 2 years with a group and with the pandemic we started a weekly fri night game so I'm really enjoying getting into this game more.
I would like to play but I've never applied for a game here. What do I need to do? Roll up a full character or just submit name, race, class, backstory?

Zael Cairn |
![Sosiel Vaenic](http://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO9074-Sosiel_90.jpeg)
OK, here is Jagael's submission. I did his sheet on myth-weavers, but I can port everything over to the profile if you prefer that.
Zael always struggled with the idea of staying in a single place. His teachers spoke of the freedom of Desna, and yet he spent everyday sitting in a class, praying in the sanctuary, or practicing in the training ground. When he came of age, Zael jumped at the chance to join a traveling healer.
Though he learned much from Brother Josul, Zael's greatest lesson was in the majesty and horror of Varisia. The two clerics healed their way through villages and caravans harassed by orcs, goblins, giants, and all manner of other dark creatures.
When his journey came full circle back to the church Zael longed to strike out again immediately. And the opportunity arose quickly. Sandpoint was unveiling their new cathedral dedicated, among others, to Desna. With permission from Father Taln, Zael set off for Sandpoint and the Swallowtail Festival.
Zael relies on Desna's Divine Fighting Technique which allows him to use his Charisma for attack and damage with starknives.
On an Oracle, Sorcerer, or other SAD (Single Ability Dependent) class this can get crazy fast. I chose Cleric since Charisma is a secondary or tertiary stat at best for them since they cast with Wisdom.
Basically, this allows Zael to do more than just sit at the back and cast spells by giving him a chance to hit someone and still have use from his channel ability.

I'm definitely looking for a full character sheet at some point, but you have time to flesh that out. Backstory is going to be the largest determining factor in whether you get into the game or not, so that's where you should spend your energy the most.

Submitting Elendyr, a half-elf unchained rogue of somewhat questionable background. The character profile is largely done except for buying gear.
The half-elf nodded. "Yes. Y-the owner here has a fine cellar. Papa Vhiski." The man smiled thinly, a smile that didn't touch his eyes. Elendyr continued, "Mama Kovács sends greetings. She said, you keep an eye on me for a while until the law in Galduria forgets who I am, maybe give me some work, and she calls the debt settled."
This time the smile did reach the man's eyes. "Oh she does, does she? Getting sentimental in her old age. So what can you do?"
"Mostly lookout, some second-story work, a few jobs as a cracksman, working crowds. No confidence games--she said I couldn't convince a dwarf to dig a hole. And nothing wet--Mama didn't like wet work. Said it got the wrong people mad at you."
The man stroked his goatee pensively. "I've heard that from her before. So. How is it that a half-elf with a name straight out of Kyonin shows up in Sandpoint with a Sczarni token and a Sczarni scarf, talking in Varisian like a native and calling a family head Mama, like you were one of her own?"
Elendyr relaxed just a little. "You said it yourself--Mama's sentimental. She picked me up after my blood family got killed, and raised me just like any other child in the family. I may not have Varisian blood, but in every other way I'm Sczarni. Every way that counts, anyway."
Jubrayl Vhiski nodded, apparently satisfied. "So. I'll get you a place to stay as long as you need it, as long as you don't need it more than a couple of days. There's a big do tomorrow--you said you worked crowds? Do a good job, and you can pay for your own átkozott room. I need you for anything else, I tell you. Two rules, though. Don't put the touch on any of my people. And you don't come back here unless I ask you. Right?"
The half-elf nodded again. "Right." He finished his drink, got up, and walked out of the bar. A beggar accosted him just outside, rattling a bowl in front of her. "Spare a copper for a cripple?" He could tell that the white of her hair was powder, and the scars on her face were wood glue and dye, but the disguise was good enough to fool most marks. A couple of coppers went into the bowl, the metallic sound covering a jailhouse whisper--"Sandpoint Theater. Festival Street. Around the back. Don't be seen." Then louder, "Desna bless you for your kindness, sir!"
Whistling to himself, Elendyr made his way to the theater, where (as promised) he found that the backstage area concealed an informal inn of sorts...shy on food, but at least a relatively quiet place to sleep. He arose the next morning and slipped out of the building, losing himself in the crowded streets and looking for fat purses.

Quick question for everyone. What's the etiquette of announcing who gets in? I figured, I would let y'all know on the 28th after everyone gets a chance to submit, and start a few days after. Does that sound about right?

That's generally the way it's done. You set a time--say, 3PM UTC on the 28th (because there are people on the boards from all over the world)--and tell people to have their characters submitted by then. You post then, to let people know that applications are closed, and then you post once you've picked a party.
ETA: full disclosure...I'm currently running an RotRL game on the boards, and I've played in another half-dozen or so that ended prematurely. In most cases, we didn't even get into Thistletop, and in the one exception I joined partway into the second part. (It also died before going much further.) You'll find that anyone who's been doing PbP here will have similar experiences. The game I'm running, in fact, I picked up after the original GM ghosted and the first replacement GM ran out of time to keep it up.

I enjoyed reading your backstory. I enjoy Jackie Chan's improvised fighting stunts in movies. I think that'd be very funny and interesting to see in a tabletop setting. Thank you for your submission!

I was going to update my alias for the proper point buy, but I was thinking, If selected I will adjust down but I have been through many recruitment and had to re-build the same character numerous times.
If you do want the fully updated character now I will do that but I think the main thing is the backstory and the general feel for the character.
Also there is a link in the alias to an older Rose of the Runelords game that I was in a long time ago with this character.
Hopefully that can give a good idea as to Noro's personality as well as some hidden aspects of her past.

I was briefly considering pulling Halsanna out of retirement just for nostalgia's sake. ;D However, this gives me an opportunity to approach an idea that I've had in my head for a while.
I'm always happy to help support new GMs however I can, so I would like to join with an idea that's been bouncing around my head. While I may have(?) played in a version of RotRL (with Noro, in fact— I played Halsanna), I have no idea whether or not it was modified. That said, I am offering up a Bard Archeytype of The Juggler
"One of the things a little more overlooked was entertainment, as a good story and news of things beyond a day's easy travel by foot or hoof could easily pay for a day or two of lodging, depending on whose ears needed to hear what information. Add in an easy manner and a winning smile, and that day or two could become a week. Toss in a little entertainment and that week might become two. So assuming that you don't rub anyone the wrong way and have to leave early, that's half of a month of work that often has room and board on the house."
"Definitely qualifies as an "Interesting Thing", wouldn't you say?"
"Here's another tidbit that I don't mind giving away for free: Folks love a show. People are just as apt to get tired of the same things much in the way that a month's worth of trail rations might be qualified as "food", but once the novelty is gone, so is the interest. Such as the interest you have in having me jabber on about things— I can see that its fading. So let me give you my name:"
"I'm Jairdan. Jairdan Wynn, and yes, my smile is also winning. The things I can do with my hands will astound you, and yes— I'm also a fair hand there as well. I saw that appraisal, no need to blush there, Miss. Student of he who was himself a student of Bellin the Cat, at your service."

Thanks for the submissions, y'all. Don't worry too much about getting your character sheet all set up perfectly. There will be time for that after the party is assembled!
The biggest thing I'm looking at is backstory/personality blurbs. Finding people that are putting interesting ideas on the table and heart in their characters is my top priority. A spot on your sheet or on here explaining your role/how you plan to work with a team doesn't hurt either.
If you are submitting a character that will need to be adjusted mechanically, that's fine. As long as I can tell what you're going for, I'll count it as a valid submission.

I remember Halsanna. I thought that was the loom of fate game.
Anyway, I think Noro's main thing is being a bit unpredictable at times, and a front line, in your face character. The kind of warrior that will look you in the eyes as she pummeled you into the dirt.
I have links to one of her other adventures in the alias if up for the read.

When Talax was in his late-20's, he was out searching for herbs after the caravan had stopped for the evening on its way to the dedication of the new temple in Sandpoint and came accross a raven that was injured in a clearing. Talax took the bird in and bound its wounds. It became apparent to Talax that the raven was not a normal raven but something more. When it was healed, the raven offered Talax powers beyond what he could ever imagine, and being a student of knowledge and always seeking more, Talax agrees and begins his path to greater knowledge...

Magical Knack: Pick a class when you gain this trait—your caster level in that class gains a +2 trait bonus as long as this bonus doesn’t increase your caster level higher than your current Hit Dice.
Hagfish Hopeful: Ever since passing through Sandpoint when you were a child and hearing about the contest at the popular tavern known as the Hagfish, you wanted to take that coin purse as your own and carve your name on the ceiling beam above the bar. Training yourself to choke down indigestible food and drink water a pig would refuse, you’ve built up quite a strong resistance to all things putrid and gross. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Fortitude saves against disease and poison.
Flouncy Magoo is a former house slave from Cassomir, not that far from Daggor. In Taldor, like much of Avistan, halflings are not very respected. He remembers his childhood, but can't recall what happened to his family. It was traumatic for him, and his mind has blocked that experience out.
His master was an ornery old man named Eloquin Stavin, a self-made merchant who claimed to be descended from Taldan royalty. Flouncy doubted that, since there was nothing regal about the man.
After almost three years of lousy food, long hours and one too many beatings, Flouncy made his escape. He snuck out of his room under cover of darkness, slipping past the many watchmen at the docks, and stowed away on a boat going upriver. He kept moving west, fearful of being captured and brought back, and eventually ended up in Sandpoint, far away from any pursuers.
Through a series of odd jobs, luck, and a great deal of avarice, Flouncy managed to scrape together a few possessions and enough coin to live in reasonable comfort. He's not a cruel person, but he's not above picking the occasional pocket to fill his always-hungry belly.
His proudest achievement happened at the Hagfish Tavern. Flouncy managed to drink a mug of the hagfish water without vomiting, and was allowed to carve his name on the ceiling, standing on Jargie Quinn's shoulders, as a reward. The bag of coins he won didn't hurt, either.
Flouncy dreams of wealth. He's seen what it looks like, and wants to know what it feels like to sleep in the most comfortable bed, eat the finest delicacies, and wear fancy clothes.

Hi there!
And an extra-special Hello There to you, madam Paracosmic! Welcome to our little slice of heaven. =)
I am getting a reallllllllllly good vibe about this game. I like how your Mechanics are very bare-bones. A 15 point buy and only 4 in the party speak to real-world low-power stories and a desire to embrace the basics. I like it!
(Also, I want to support you in this endeavor as I'm no stranger to being a gas station attendant. I've sold my share of Menthol Lights. ^_^)
Since you've said that you want our very best for the backstory, I have an interesting idea.
I have played...much games. But there is one character that I consider my magnum opus. Mind you, the character is set in a different system, but I think if I buckle down I can convert it for Pathfinder.
O, it'll be a fight, but I think, in this instance, it'll be worth it.

I definitely want to have some new players, since that will help exercise some GM skills in a different way. I think that, with all the interest this has gotten, I will be trying to find a party that I think will work together mechanically and narratively. I'm loving all the characters so far, and I think the hardest part of this whole thing for me will be choosing from such a delightful cast.

Hi! I am hesitant to apply because I am already GMing and playing this adventure. But I liked your campaign kick off post and there is a character I would like to play if I ever get in another RotRL. Still, I understand if you give priority to people who never had a chance to play it.
The character is Izomandakus, a wizard transmuter that has been reincarnated in one of Sandpoint’s villagers. His memories mingle between his current life and the past one, which he cannot properly recall, and has had to build a new identity for himself. Mechanically, he will be a support caster with also some control and utility spells.
I have sent you a Private Message (PM) with more info about the character mystery that I would prefer others are not aware of at the beginning of the campaign because not even the character knows this information.
Background
Arika was born into one of the humble Varissian families that settled in Sandpoint. Her mother, Alma Avertin, is the proprietary of Sandpoint Savories, the settlement bakery. She has a twin sister called Aneka.
From an early age it became clear Arika was not like the other girls, and despite her physical resemblance to her twin sister, Arika was very different inside. She stated to have dreams of other people, that sometimes memories from another person assaulted her, and that she was not a girl but a boy. When Arika was only a teenager he started to tell everybody that his name was not Arika but Izomandakus and made everybody call him by that name. The family did not know what to do or feel about it, but when his brother Casp was assassinated by the Chopper, everybody seemed to change and started to accept Izomandakus to take the roles of his fallen brother.
Early on Izomandakus started to show a knack on the understanding of magic and an unlimited attraction by Sandpoint’s Old Light and the knowledge of the ancient civilization of Thassilion. Advised by the town’s professor Ilosari Gandethus, old wizard adventurer who saw potential in the boy, the family took Izomandakus to Magnimar for magical study. The Stone of the Seer’s rejected him, in part because his family could not pay the elitist tuition fee, but witnessing the strange understanding of transmutation the boy had, Toth Bhreacher accepted to teach him magic in exchange for Izomandakus to work at the Golemworks helping to manufacture their angelic guardian constructs. Izomandakus profited well his stay at the Golemworks, he learned magic and constructs craft, and studied the many monuments and ancient ruins of Magnimar.
Recently, graduated from his studies, Izomandakus has felt homesick and decided to return to Sandpoint for the Swallowtail Festival as an excuse to visit his family. In fact he heard a new Thassilonian expert, Brodert Quink is studying the Old Light and wants to see what he has discovered. Evenmore, Izomandakus hopes to settle in Sandpoint once more and explore the ruins, as he feels strangely intrigued by the Thassilon epoque and thinks it might have something to do with the strange memories at the back of his mind.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
=================================================
Arcane Bond (Ex) (Su) (You have selected to establish a powerful arcane bond with a creature.)
Arcane School A wizard can choose to specialize in one school of magic, gaining additional spells and powers based on that school. This choice must be made at 1st level, and once made, it cannot be changed. A wizard that does not select a school receives the universalist school instead.
A wizard that chooses to specialize in one school of magic must select two other schools as his opposition schools, representing knowledge sacrificed in one area of arcane lore to gain mastery in another. A wizard who prepares spells from his opposition schools must use two spell slots of that level to prepare the spell. In addition, a specialist takes a -4 penalty on any skill checks made when crafting a magic item that has a spell from one of his opposition schools as a prerequisite. A universalist wizard can prepare spells from any school without restriction.
Each arcane school gives the wizard a number of school powers. In addition, specialist wizards receive an additional spell slot of each spell level he can cast, from 1st on up. Each day, a wizard can prepare a spell from his specialty school in that slot. This spell must be in the wizard's spellbook. A wizard can select a spell modified by a metamagic feat to prepare in his school slot, but it uses up a higher-level spell slot. Wizards with the universalist school do not receive a school slot.
Bonus Feat Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Cantrips Wizards can prepare a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, each day. These spells are cast like any other spell, but they are not expended when cast and may be used again. A wizard can prepare a cantrip from an opposed school, but it uses up two of his available slots.
Enchantment Opposition School You have chosen enchantment spells as an opposition school. Preparing an enchantment spell takes up two spell slots of the same level. You take a -4 penalty on any skill checks made when crafting a magic item that has an enchantment spell as a prerequisite.
Arcane Bond (Familiar) A familiar is an animal chosen by a spellcaster to aid him in his study of magic. It retains the appearance, Hit Dice, base attack bonus, base save bonuses, skills, and feats of the normal animal it once was, but is now a magical beast for the purpose of effects that depend on its type. Only a normal, unmodified animal may become a familiar. An animal companion cannot also function as a familiar.
A familiar grants special abilities to its master, as given on the table below. These special abilities apply only when the master and familiar are within 1 mile of each other.
Levels of different classes that are entitled to familiars stack for the purpose of determining any familiar abilities that depend on the master's level.
If a familiar is dismissed, lost, or dies, it can be replaced 1 week later through a specialized ritual that costs 200 gp per wizard level. The ritual takes 8 hours to complete.
Familiar's Alertness ability Active (Ex) PC has a familiar that has the Alertness (Ex) ability and it is within arms' reach, the master gains the Alertness feat.
Language Humans begin play speaking Common. Humans with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).
Necromancy Opposition School You have chosen necromancy spells as an opposition school. Preparing an necromancy spell takes up two spell slots of the same level. You take a -4 penalty on any skill checks made when crafting a magic item that has an necromancy spell as a prerequisite.
Physical Enhancement (Su) You gain a +1 enhancement bonus to one physical ability score (Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution). You can change this bonus to a new ability score when you prepare spells.
Reincarnated You lived a previous life as someone-or something- else. For you, life and death are a cycle, and you have no fear of death. You gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws against fear and death effects.
Scholar of the Ancients Growing up with your nose in books, you've had a great interest in past cultures and ancient history. Furthermore, having grown up in Varisia, you know the monuments dotting the landscape belong to an ancient civilization known as Thassilon. From your life of study and dogged research, you've pieced together the language and partial history of this once-great empire. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (arcana) and Knowledge (history) checks, and begin play able to speak and read Thassilonian.
Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Spells A wizard casts arcane spells drawn from the sorcerer/wizard spell list presented in Chapter 10. A wizard must choose and prepare his spells ahead of time.
To learn, prepare, or cast a spell, the wizard must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a wizard's spell is 10 + the spell level + the wizard's Intelligence modifier.
A wizard can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. His base daily spell allotment is given on Table 3-16. In addition, he receives bonus spells per day if he has a high Intelligence score (see Table 1-3).
A wizard may know any number of spells. He must choose and prepare his spells ahead of time by getting 8 hours of sleep and spending 1 hour studying his spellbook. While studying, the wizard decides which spells to prepare.
Telekinetic Fist (Sp) As a standard action you can strike with a telekinetic fist, targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. The telekinetic fist deals 1d4 points of bludgeoning damage. You can use this ability 6 times per day.
Transmutation School You have chosen to specialize in transmutation spells.

In my opinion it is only worth if you are creating your own campaign or rebuilding many NPCs. If playing a pre-made campaign like RotRL it is better to adjust the party rather than going through all the work of adjusting up or down the encounters if you see the need to made encounters more difficult or more easy.
Hero Lab is better, but if you do not want to spend money for now, there is PC Gen which is good enough. Izomandakus was created with it and their Paizo Forums template was used for the output of his character sheet.

I used PC Gen for a long while to get to know all of the options available, but now I just pull up a blank sheet on Myth-Weavers and put things together. Archives of Nethys is easily navigable, and you can create any concept pretty quickly just searching on the srd.
If you are really tied to the monster stat block approach, then Hero Lab is useful to get it into that format, but on the GM side, I have much preferred to port everything to a character sheet for most encounters. The big draw I have heard for HL is applying circumstantial effects, which is a quick boost in a RL session, but PbP is slow enough you can adjust by yourself without feeling time pressure.

Excellent!
Character submission for Atlas2112! =)
As advertised, the number aren't right, the build isn't exact, the equipment would need to be re-done, and the numbers could be re-worked. But the essence of the character is there. With a party size of 4, versatility is the key, and I've found that the Slayer class can be a fine skills-class, but can also assist in the front line, and act as a rather decent diplomacy face.
Also! As you can tell from the backstory, there's a lot of meat to draw upon to drive the character in almost any situation, as the ghosts of her past chase her and she runs as fast as she can away from them.
Also also! I know the Archives of Nethys, but I continue to prefer the original original, which is now the legacy site. Sure you can't search on it, but everything is laid out in its intuitive core, and just scrolling through for a thing is, IMHO, much easier.
Also also also! I have -never- played or GM'd Rise of the Runelords. Jus' sayin'. ^_^
Tally ho!

Here is my submission. Iff accepted Character will be ready by Monday.
Soaked in sweat a young boy sits up in his bed, breathing heavily in the middle of te night. He is trying to shake the bad dream out of his thoughts, but the screams and the smell of Smoke dont seem to go away. Soon he realizes that it was not a dream after all, but the village was under attack.
He jumps out of bed and cries out for his mother when he is realizing that he is not alone in the room. A small red devil with claws for his hands is sliding through the window seaching for prey. The boy panically runs for the door, but is to slow. Before he reaches the doorhandle he feels a heavy weight in his back and is slammed forward into the ground. The Devil has been jumping on his back and its claws grab for Markos' head trying to twist it off.
Fueled by his fear the boy pushes up and runs backward, crushing the creature into anearby wall, forcing it to release his hold shortly, leaving a huge clawmark on the boys cheek.
The boy now realizes that he cant get out of the room fast enough and slowly retreats back to the window. But the devil has knows he has the boy cornered and slowly approaches while cacklig evily. "Help Me!" the boy cries out , but nobody is going to hear him in the commmotion.
Finally the red devil decides it has hed enough of the game and jumps. The Boy raises his hands, but expected impact never comes. He opens his eyes and sees a purple catlike creature in a desperate fight with the devil. Sensing his chance he desperate dashes throught the window fleeing his village.
Kirtos Dentros is a Half Elven Summoner (Naturalist) and you just witnessed the first time he summoned his Eidolon. He is a Orphan since this attack and grew up in a village near sandpoint. I plan to set im up as somebody who can fight alongside his Eidolon or other summoned creatures.
Well I am no shakespeare so here are a few other reasons why you should take me.
- I a an active player, posting regularly
- I like to engage with other players and lead in Character discussions
- I am Party friendly, willing to fill any role needed for the whole group to succeed so changing the characterto a better fitting class is no problem.

Oooooo. Time is running short and the competition is heating up!
I better step it up a notch and have a 'why me' section!
I'm an active and verbose poster who enjoys building narrative with fellow players and my posts are often favorited by others.
It's been said that my talent at weaving scenes together makes people jealous as hell, I'm a favorite player, I make the game, and GM's will single me out for amusing the hell out of them. (And this one time two girls, whom I did not know, were discussing the fashion choices of my character. =p)

I can second that. They are a solid addition to a game for both content and delivery.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful submissions!! I won’t be accepting any more for the time being, and I will announce who’s getting in in a few hours. Got a life issue popping up and I won’t to re-read some of these before I make a final decision. Thanks for your patience. You’re all wonderful character creators and my heart is warmed by your interest in this endeavor.
