Question, since this would be my first game with this character (I played a pregen in my initial game and this game hasn't really started, can I still make a small tweak to my character.

I realized that knowledge (history) much better suits my character than knowledge (nature) so I would like to swap (ie become trained in knowledge (history))

Because the mission briefing is done, you can't make a change right now. However, when our adventure is over, you can make such a change, because you have not yet played your character at level 2 or above. (it's often refered to as the 'level 1 rebuild.')

I made everyone some custom tokens, I hope you don't mind. I just used our avatars. Salmok, in another life as Bedisa, helped me figure out how to make circular tokens so I figured I'd give back.

Zarzezi, if you pick out an avatar from the My Organized Play > Zarzezi Edit > Select Avatar page, I'll make you one as well!

Apologies on being M.I.A., folks. My father-in-law had a couple strokes and we've been helping my wife's mom while she deals with him first being in the ER and now in a nursing home.

Horribly sorry for my absence, folks. My father-in-law's situation has gone from bad to worse and he's now at home in Hospice, and it's a day to day thing until he passes. Things are...difficult.

My apologies, but frankly I think you should just drop my char from the game, as I've not been available to make any real sort of contribution.

Sorry for that. I had been looking forward to this, but no offense, it's just not and can't be my priority right now.

Ahberanth, I'm so sorry to hear things are rough for your family right now. If you'd rather withdraw from the game, I'd be happy to remove you and hope to see you in another game some other time. If joining us when you can would be a relief to you in a difficult time, you're welcome to stay with us, even if I have to bot you some of the time.

It's an emotional time, and losing my father-in-law has affected our entire family, and your thoughts are appreciated.
Honestly, my intention was to simply step away from this, so as not to hinder your game, or have the responsibility of catching up. However, seeing your replies has made me smile and change my mind.

Give me a day or so and I'll resume/start posting. Thank you for giving me something nice to look forward to doing.

Kato, I noticed when you made your attack on the wolf you had an extra +1 on your rolls. I'm guessing that was something extra than your normal bonuses?

That was for the inspire courage. It is +1 to hit and damage, right? I many be confusing it for 1e...

Completely off-topic, I was just perusing the boards here and then clicked on our GM's former campaigns...holy crap, Redelia! Somehow, I had NO IDEA how many games you've run! You would have thought I would have looked at that before signing up for this game, but apparently I didn't. Either that, or I somehow forgot.

Just to be clear, Redelia, we're not TRYING to look inactive in the thread. Our characters are acting the way they would and really just trying to be careful. lol Honest.

Agreed. :) Kato doesn't like to start fights that are unnecessary. In his short career he's already butted heads with a 'murder hobo' or two.

I understand completely. If I was impatient, I could have pushed through this, rather than letting you work on the 'puzzle' bit of this encounter.

I swear the Paizo forums hate me lately. It seems like I keep getting super low rolls in all my games.

I'm really sorry how slow this game has been, everyone. We've been going for almost three months, and a scenario normally takes 6 to 8 weeks.

I'm going to strive to post most days unless I am waiting for you, and never miss more than one day in a row. It would be great if you can try to post at least every other day. (In normal games, I'd ask you to each post every day, but that wouldn't be fair when we've been going at this slower pace. I'm just trying to make it a more regular slow pace.)
