I am proposing you a new PFS scenario in either Core or Normal Campaign. This game is specially intended for people new to PbP, so do not hesitate to apply even if you have just a small or not at all previous experience with PbP playing.
The chosen adventure will be #0-13: The Prince of Augustana: When an old beggar shows up filthy and injured on the doorstep of the Augustana Pathfinder Lodge in Andoran and demands to be recognized as Andoran's one true Emperor, Venture-Captain Wallace is inclined to chase him off. But when the old beggar reveals a wayfinder and tells a tale of demons and portals to another world beneath the streets of Augustana, Wallace summons you from Absalom to investigate. Will you make it through sewers, swarms, and sanctuaries to uncover the truth or will the dangers of the Augustana underworld consume you forever?

What I will be expecting?
Character builds: Whatever fitting PFS Core rules. You can propose up to two characters suited for a lower and a higher tier (for example a level 2 and a level 4). You can also propose a Normal Campaign character, but I would like this game to be new player friendly and thus I will preferably run it as a Core only campaign.
Posting frequency: 2 times per day (but we will manage if everyone posts once a day at least)
Playing style: Fluid and tactical combat with vivid roleplaying interaction. I have a preference for players that get more excited to perform their characters personality and background than for their specific built decisions. Note combats will be fair and fluid but tactically meaningful. People with a balanced interest in both the Social and Tactical parts of the game will be the ones feeling the more comfortable with my GMing style.
Timespan: The game will take around 1 or 2 months to complete, depending on players responsiveness.
Party size: 4 or 5 players. Old scenarios are written for 4 players in mind, so no more than 5 players will be recruited.
Pregens: I will accept pregens, but will give priority to player made characters.
GMing style: I make passive rolls like Perception, Initiative, and sometimes, Saves. If everyone else has gone for the round and we are waiting, I will move on with the next round but give you an opportunity to perform two rounds in your next post. I have found this is the best way to keep PbP pace while still letting everyone to enjoy their characters without the stress of having to post when there is no time available.
Mapping tools: You are expected to have access to view and edit a Google Presentations maps (apps are available for both Android and iPhone, so you will be able to work with the map even with your mobile device).
Player responsiveness: I expect you to have initiative as a player, pushing the game to explore and interact, not just reacting to the GM initiative rolling and direct questions for what to do next. I highly recommend wise Painlord's guide to PbP if you have not read it yet.
Just provide a couple ideas of possible characters you would like to play with (class, race and level are enough).
Priority will go to people who is new to PbP, but others can apply to. I will probably want to have one or two people with more experience able to lead by example on how to make a PbP fun and successful.
I will give a few days for as much people as possible to discover the recruitment. But I might decide to close soon if I get the players I want.
Good luck and have fun everybody! :D

Volunteering to fill one of those experienced player roles.
Have a few ideas of what to bring. The normal rules options are:
1. Blossoming Light Cleric who is the ultimate channel healing machine but also throws fire bolts around to the glory of Sarenrae
2. Martyr Paladin who takes bleed damage through a stigmata to give the party inspire courage (like a bard) and is a full BAB 10HD damaging machine as well
3. A shieldbearer warpriest whose life's work is to protect allies and shieldbash evil doers into submission
Any of these would be 1st level in a slot I have 2 GM credits waiting to be used.
And yes, I build weird characters and I love the role-play aspect of Pathfinder.
For Core options, I'll bring a melee-oriented wizard. Yes, frontlining wizard. Still 1st level.
Like Kulko, I check the site multiple times a day, so I can keep up with a faster paced game if that's desired.

Okay, final decisions:
If we go Core, I'm going with the blaster caster cleric of Gozreh (1st level). He's a bit of a ridiculous adrenaline junkie and is a "reluctant" healer in terms of how I role play him (so he'll totally heal whoever needs to be healed, he'll just gripe about how he'd rather be using his awesome blasts to destroy enemies).
If we go standard campaign style, I'll use the blossoming light cleric (1st level). She is far more healing focused, but she'll fight if she has to and will always give the enemies a chance to repent their evil ways, because Sarenrae is all about redemption.

I've never played PbP before, but I'm in 2 weekly and 1 backup 5E campaigns and I'm GM'ing Age of Ashes. I'm interesting in getting a feel for PbP to possibly start GM'ing some PbP games.
I would like to play one of the following characters:
Halfling Ranger - I'm playing a 5E Ranger currently and I'm fairly disappointed in the implementation and would like to see how they work in PF2
Halfling Druid - Druid has always seemed like a fun class, but I've not tried one yet
Gnome Bard - I enjoy Charisma casters more then any other caster, and Bards can be super fun when it comes to role playing
I would guess any of these would start at level 1 for the game, but can be started higher if needed.

Hello there,
I'm fairly new to PbP (Done a few games of AL on Mythweavers) and new to Pathfinder itself. Really interested in experiencing it.
So if you'll have me, I'd like to join with my dwarven fighter, level 1.
I'm really new to pathfinder society though, so I'll probably have questions aplenty.

Nice to see you around Kulko.
The cleric of Gozreh will do it pippinTook.
Welcome to PbP @iamfritch :)
Note this is a Pathfinder Society scenario. It means the characters we use shall be created, advanced and equipped using a specific regulation. The Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide explains at detail how this work, but it allows us to easily use our characters on different tables around the world.
It sounds more complex than it is. In the end actual play is basically same as any other adventure, just it is assumed your character works for a world-wide organization known as the Pathfinder Society. At the end of each scenario you receive a chronicle sheet (a piece of paper written by Paizo with information on the scenario and signed by the GM). Each chronicle has an amount of gold that corresponds with the treasure found during the adventure and you can use it to buy basic equipment, or special equipment that you found during the adventure and is written in the chronicle.
In a few words, you start your character at level 1 (you can chose any of the basic races and any class that features in a book you have access to) using point-buy 20 to stat your character, then for each 3 chronicles you earn during your adventures, you advance a level. Normally your character retires from the Society once you reach level 12, but there are special adventures for those high-level characters too.
Each scenario can be played for specific levels, what is known as Tier. In the case of this one I am proposing, it is Tier 1-5, which means you are fine to create a level 1 character :)
We will be playing the lower tier, which means, among the number of characters people has, they can only use those of level 1, 2 or 3.
I think that covers the basics, but if you have doubts, do not hesitate to ask. If you have time, the PFS Guide covers all the regulations that allows us playing together in different tables using the same character.
Oh! And you will need to register a new Pathfinder character. After each scenario, the GM reports to Paizo the level of success or death of each character, which is done through an ID number you receive on character creation.
It seems we could still have 2 more players

Hey, it's looking like a party!
So far we've got:
Terval, Halfling Draconic Sorcerer (Kulko)
Serellig Vrast, Cleric of Gozreh (my character)
Halfling Ranger/Halfling Druid/Gnome Bard (iamfitch)
(Jonkar?), Dwarven Fighter (Jonkar)
TBD (Nathanael Love)
Just thought I'd organize it so we could see it all together and determine party balance, which looks pretty good, actually, and might help Nathanael decide what he wants to bring to the party.
Hope you're all looking forward to this as much as I am!

GM Rutseg |

Thanks a lot for the list pippinTook! :)
I will leave a couple more days for the case someone new to PbP wants to apply. If not Nathanael Love will take the 5th spot player and I will set up the campaign threads during the weekend so we can start playing next week.
Meanwhile, I would like for you to write the stats of your characters in your character profile. You can take Elneth as an example of how to do this.
If you have your character in Hero Lab or PC Gen they both have an option to export the character as a TXT file formatted properly for Paizo Forums. It can save you a lot of time.
Another thing I like to do is to save a backup copy of each character Profile for each level in a separate Google Docs file.
Really looking forward to play with you all people!

Ok, I have set up the discussion thread. Please head up there and write down your reporting info as a mean to confirm you are joining the game.
I sent a private message (PM) to iamfritch some days ago. As he has not answered and he has not written here again I am going to assume he is not interested anymore and leave the recruitment open in case someone else wants to join.
Recruitment is still open for a 5th player.
