Also, if there is any unusual mechanics that you are using (i.e. you had to go over it with GMs in the past) then lets go through it now, before the game begins.

This scenario is a 7-10, this is not your first rodeo. Just as you expect me to know how my npcs work, so do I expect you to know how your characters work. If mistakes are made we will not retcon unless absolutely necessary. That said, if you need help understanding something feel free to ask. However, please do so with a timing that does not bog down play.

On weekdays I expect 1 post per 24hrs when necessary. I will bot you otherwise.

This is high level play. If an enemy would attempt to kill a downed player, and it makes sense tactically, they will. In case you are wondering, I have checked the SFS Guide and it does not forbid me to do this (unlike PF1).

As I mentioned before, the character is a Lao Shu Po priest themed character, however that may come into play.

They are an overlord mystic. This means I can cast charm monster with RP, and the following two effects with my spells:

1.) When one of your mind-affecting charm or compulsion spells or spell-like abilities ends, the target loses all memory that it was magically controlled or influenced. That creature still remembers the actions it took, but may be confused by them.

2.) When a creature succeeds at a saving throw against one of your mind-affecting charm or compulsion spells or spell-like abilities and negates the effect, it takes a –1 penalty to AC, attack rolls, and skill checks until the beginning of your next turn. This is a mind-affecting effect.

Aaaand, I have eagle eyes augmentations, so I can fully search a 10x10 square in 1 round.

Benoit's character sheet is linked to his name in the header for him. That sheet is up to date, but his profile on the Paizo website is not.

He has a combat drone named TEC-9.

Also, he just gained the feat coordinated shot and he usually fights at melee range so all PC's who are using ranged attacks on the creature he is fighting with will get a +1 to their attack rolls.

Another feat he has that has sparked some discussion with GM's before is quick draw. The RAW is a little confusing, but GM's have always allowed Benoit to draw two throwing weapons and full attack with them in a single round as long as he takes no other actions. I'll leave it up to you about how you want to interpret quick draw.

That only matters if their is a spell/effect/skill that is gender specific and Jazz would be treated as a female in that case. Like an NPC might say females talking to him/her take a -2, +2 to diplomacy or bluff.

We reflavor the pregens pretty regularly locally if we have to pull them out just for funsies. Just as Jazz notes they won't have any mechanical changes to maintain consistency.

Maybe I should have mentioned this, but Benoit's lance is always in his hands since there is no way for him to carry it otherwise. I'll leave it up to you, but does he get an AOO on the creature since the lance has 10' reach?

I find myself compelled to ask the question. Do you know the mechanics of Starfinder? This is clearly two standard actions. The second is not going to happen because it is being compelled by Doc's spell.

Also, you full-defensed next to a creature that was dazed. A movement that also gave the enemy cover from an ally's attack.

I do not intend the question as an insult. I was merely under the impression that all of my players were experienced. If that is not the case, please let me know.

I've played so many editions, I may forget a rule or two. Sorry, I thought that creature was killed or ran away, because he was Xed out on the map.
Can I change my action? Cause I thought he wasn't there anymore.

The creature next to you was downed. The other creature was Suggestioned by Doc. If you wish, you may change your action.

Edit:
The non-downed creature is nowhere to be seen. But you may hit the downed one if you wish.

Oh, geesh, missed that, darn you doc, well I'm definitely not moving from my spot even with my darkvision. The creature could be anywhere, yeah, my character screams anyway, since I'm not sure what the best course of action to take right now is, maybe it will come to one of us. I could ready something, but that'd be useless, since my character doesn't want to kill the pets.

Sasha, if you've been rolling perception checks for us Benoit's bonus is +13 and TEC-9 can make perception checks with a +12 bonus.

Hmm..I think I may have goofed on Benoit's bonus by 2. Also, when the stealth is initiated is when everyone who can see them get free stealth checks. While I may have missed one for the drone, the other times it's light was not shining on the respective creature at that time. All of that said, the good news is that regardless of my goofs, if they were fixed, neither Benoit nor TEC-9 would have achieved high enough.
