Hoo isn't the greatest shot, so I noted "firing at strange targets that were in the open" to give her the best shot (from her point of view) at whatever it was. The thing though used the water for cover, so unless someone flushes it out before her turn she won't get to take her shot. Had Boomer made his save vs confusion he might have been able to tip other people off about the nature of his attacker.

We are about two weeks behind when I joined the table, and you have about four "real" encounters left (giver or take). I would guess that the absolute fastest time it would take to conclude would be about two weeks. That would entail things like "perfect" encounters, two-shot kills, everyone posting 2-3 times a day, no mesmerist rules questions, ;) etc....

I'm afraid you elided the portion of the comment that the FAQ clarifies and left the part it doesn't: Painful Stare doesn't proc because it's precision damage, which concealment always negates.

Hey, I didn't get my actions last round! As a psychic spellcaster, paralyzed isn't a round-ender!

I wouldn't make a fuss, normally, but I waited literally all day to take my actions because I didn't know what the condition imposed was, and then you do ability damage to my primary stat when I could have prevented those attacks? Very not cool.

Ifrits often come with their own enlarge person (Spell-like Ability I think) that does work for them.

As for what to do there are two obvious options:

You can bludgeon her into death, or unconsciousness, but that would obviously leave the charmed characters upset with those people for the duration of the enchantment who just beat up or killed their "trusted friend." Charm person lasts for hours.

Or

You could take her up on her offer to leave, and take whomever is floating in the cage with you (though if you leave Derkhan or Vozzik behind--the two characters with the nicest smiles--based upon Charisma scores rather than in Vozzik's case actual in-game interaction skills--you might get on her good side, but the PC left behind probably ends up dead and/or missing all their teeth--and CHA due to damage--by the time everyone else returns).

There might be other options, but the concern is failing to choose the one that does not involve waiting around for too long to save the library serious further damage, or an inter-party slug-fest. Two things that as Pathfinders the group is supposed to be in favor of preventing.

I have an open spell slot, so if we wait 15 minutes once this fight is done, I can prepare another Protection from Evil and (maybe) break the charm on someone else.

Xavier, the Bludgeoning penalties for attacking in water combined with her DR is rendering your attacks moot. You should switch back to your Rapier.

Hoo, with a strength penalty and a 1d6 weapon, you're going to have to crit to do any damage to her. You're more likely to do damage with your longbow.

This encounter is insane for an APL<2 party.
