Assuming we all used a HD after the bandit fight that leaves Mender and Sha one more HD to us on our short rest.
The good thing about Celestial warlocks is a short rest is awesome for them.

I don't super use inspiration tbh. I like to save it for important saves.

As a DM, I try to encourage using and giving inspiration often. In my opinion it is entirely an underused mechanic...

Age of consent is different in different countries, yes. Maybe a note in the module to alter the age depending on 4h3 country?

My concern for the scene was actually what seemed like a lack of caring about his brother being in the clutches of this Gorgon. That is the main reason I thought for sure that he was mind controlled.

Eh, no worries. We all make mistakes. I think this will make a great story! I keep imagining that if Mender gave me his inspiration at the time, he would have said something like, "Mortal, gird yourself!"
But, alas...
Since Gorum pulled me out, the only thing that can save me from having to pay for the restore is if Quen casted Bless and I don't roll a 1 on the d4... Sometimes, I think the dice roller does this on purpose... >.<
Greater Restoration is 450 gp... a steep price for our level... brutal. Sometimes, it makes me wonder what the designer intends when you have a low level party going through this. Maybe, there is a way that they have embedded in the adventure to become un-stoned, but I do think it really kills the fun if you have a bunch of new players running through this and conceivably everyone could die. That area of effect is huge...
Anyway, just rambling at this point. I am still having a blast, but I ain't gonna lie... I had a little trouble falling asleep last night as this was weighing on my mind... ^_^

Downtime is used for long term projects and can be used to spend time doign things like learning language or tool proficiencies.
