The mod supplies some hooks that might rationalize your players heading this way (you are on the way to, but not yet in, Buttergroves). Or of course you can make up your own.
:
Investigators. Butter-spiced trout is a delicacy
among Mulmaster’s rich and powerful nobles.
Prepared to a secret recipe known only to a few
communities, it fetches good prices for those lucky
enough to sell it. Recently supplies seem to have
dried up completely, so merchants in Mulmaster
have hired you to investigate. Your first stop is the
tiny hamlet of Buttergroves, where the delicacy was
first prepared.
Faction assignment: Emerald Enclave/Harpers.
Word has reached your factions that the farming
hamlet of Buttergroves has need of adventurers.
They aren't a rich community by any means, and you
doubt anyone else will answer their call. Yet
Buttergroves is a special and blessed place, founded
by the druid Audrea. See what you can do to restore
balance to the area.
Wanderers: A casual remark from an old
adventurer about The Bell in the Deep has prompted
you to take a coastal walk from Elmwood to
Elventree. Will you hear the dulcet toll of The Bell on
the calm summer's evenings ahead, or will
something else divert your attention? First, you must
cross the River Duathamper, and the hamlet of
Buttergroves is a pleasant place for a night’s rest.
Buttergroves is almost directly across the Moonsea from Thentia, located on the inlet of River Duathamper. Not far at all from Mulmaster, just southwest along the shore a bit. Within the Cormanthyr forest. :)

Methinks that Giuseppe falls into the wanderer category, though Shae, Gorum, and Io may be investigating the shortage, though Shae is more of a bounty hunter than investigator...
EDIT: By the way, Giuseppe bought a dog while in Mulmaster. It's a mastiff from Rashemen, and he named it Alberto... ^_^

Io's side hustle is a cook, so the food shortage angle works well.
Uh, what is "dot delete"? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

In gameplay you can just post something like 'asdfasgg'. Then, delete that post. It puts you in the players list and will update you when new posts occur without cluttering up the gameplay thread. Its basically the same as dotting into a campaign just without the dot posts littering around after.

Heh, that dog pic. Is that your actual dog in real life?
I wish... naw, I just searched for a pic of a Russian bear mastiff.

Ionnis, I didn't notice your last name until now. Are you related to the famous Harpell mage family of Longsaddle?
He's supposed to be, yes, if that's allowable. The backstory is he's got this whole family of spellcasters but he is not one. He keeps trying, though, but is sort of the black sheep of the family. (Hence the arcane trickster pick, and why I sometimes have him "try" to cast a spell he doesn't have.)

Cool, was reading some Salvatore recently and put 2 and 2 together.
Interesting fact, when the Companions novel came out with the Sundering, I started getting back into it. I ran a 5e campaign surrounding the new orc wars of the Luruar. It turned out pretty cool! My character Abrel Deadrose came out of that war!
I actually want to revisit that campaign...

Agreed, but when I got to see the second Orc Wars, visually on PvP online, I was hooked by the possibilities...

I'll level up after my IRL game concludes tonight. I saw the Harpell thing a while ago but forgot to ask. I love the Salvatore world, I'm even currently painting a drizzt mini for a commission.

I need to revisit the books. Havnt read them in such a long time. I’m not current, but can’t remember where I left off. Lately though I want to reread the Moonshae stuff. Our local AL has the rights to Moonshae area and they’ve done some nice stuff. Bald man Games.

It's Harpell, he leveled through 16 in another (tabletop) campaign with some homebrew stuff. His stealth was insane and he always wore lots of orange if for no other reason than the irony - I even wore an orange scarf while playing him to get in character lol. Even had the spell Green Flame Blade changed to Orange Flame Blade, which he used a lot. Hoping this incarnation is just as fun if a little different :-)

Hahaha, cool and bogus all at once! We are getting hit too, out here in the middle of the Pacific! I ended up having to cancel my vacation, because I was going to have to self-quarantine for 14 days after I came back, even though it is only out-of-state and not international!!!
Looking forward to the increased posting rate! ;)

Thank you.

Yep, I'm bored out of my mind just constantly refreshing waiting for posts.
I'm going to start a non-AL Saga of the Worm (17th to 20th) recruitment soon if interested. I feel like trying out tier 4.

I wish that I could do a web conference, but as I am at work, it might not be appropriate. ;p
