Oops, Gm! I added flanking to those attacks, but I'm not completely sure if Dekion and/or Broker give flanking at the moment. I should have flagged that up.

I'm glad I'm on your side.

GM Fuzzfoot |

A very large and fierce lion suddenly appears out of nowhere, ripping and shredding the abomination. It is an impressive, and somewhat horrifying display, but Broker let's out an audible cheer. Dekion, while still stunned, can breath again.
17 did not hit. @Dekion - you find you cannot speak. Of course, you are still stunned anyway.

Once the increased speed is an option from Blessing of Fervor, jumping the river should be easy and people can try to get into the space behind green if they need to. I also have some transport magic options (dimension door, fly or summoning a flying creature to ride).
I also have a wand of lesser restoration bUT my UMD is only +2.

Bookkeeping note: mage armor was cast on Selûne, not Mun.
Mun step forward and retrieves a scroll. He begins loudly incanting the words before him; though in a magical tongue, the Pathfinders are overcome with the feeling of inspiration as if a great general had just called them to battle. A bright blue glow shimmers around all of the Pathfinders before quickly fading away.
Mun quickly points to Zarnel, at the foot of the bridge above them, and command Selune to protect the paladin.
5' step
Move: retrieve scroll of blessing of fervor
Standard: cast blessing of fervor (7 rounds duration)
Free: Handle Animal (defend) DC 12, link: 1 + 7 + 4 = 12
(CL 7 = 7 creatures not more than 30' apart, should cover every Pathfinder and Selune; the farthest distance between any two Pathfinders is Broker/Selûne and Mylwarra/Zarnel, both at 30' exactly.)
Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).
These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.
- * Increase its speed by 30 feet.
- * Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
- * Take one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
- * Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
- * Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.

Fortitude DC 17: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 +2 if protection from evil applies
Selûne bounds up the wall of the gorge, scrambling for purchase as she claws her way to the top. She stops just past Zarnel, looking over the edge and growling deeply at the monsters below.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Mun casts his spell and gives the bear some direction.
The walls are 50' deep, and the climb DC is 20.
Selune attempts to climb, but finds the stone walls too steep to manage to get a foothold.
I put him back at his starting point based on this, so you can decide what to do or keep your readied action where he is. I am going to wait for your response because it will make a big difference on the next action, I think.

Selûne of Ashava |

I think I'm confused; is Zarnel under the bridge? I was using the Handle Animal (defend) action to get Selune to climb up so that she could eventually go over the other side. With 50' walls, that's not something I would want to do, and if Zarnel isn't even up there, that command wouldn't work as given.
Let's change that to a defend command focused on Broker. Using the existing die roll (8) from the Climb check above, her acrobatics is +6 with a +4 for having a base speed of 40'. (8) + 6 +4 = 18 is more than enough to make the Acrobatics DC 5 to leap across the river. Her new movement is shown on the map (note the backtrack to get 10' of running room before the jump); use the same readied attack to defend Broker. She'll take the +2 from blessing of fervor this round.

GM Fuzzfoot |

All of you are under the bridge.
Selune, Eldon and the lion all continue to feel the burn of the energy emanating from the river.

Does the river damage happen at the beginning or at the end of the turn?
It is really not clear in the scenario (each round of exposure), but my thinking is that when it is your turn in initiative, if at any point in your turn you are within 5', you take the damage. But in PbP, that's a lot more slow down, so I was thinking it faster to retcon odd circumstances and just do it when the first baddie comes up.
Eldon leaps across the pit, but leaves himself open to an attack by the creature.

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**
Glowing with holy light, Ollysta pauses for a moment to rally the Pathfinders. “This will be the hour of our glory, Pathfinders! We strike against the Whispering Tyrant!” She turns her gaze to a spectral dragon circling overhead. The dragon unleashes a wall of negative energy, dissolving Pathfinders where they stand. With steely resolve, Ollysta charges toward the dragon, running on the air. “By Sarenrae’s light, begone!” she cries, as her longsword connects with its wispy form. A gaping hole appears in its chest as holy energy burns away its corrupted body. The dragon rounds on Ollysta, tearing into her with an onslaught of teeth, claws, and razor-edged wings. Ollysta’s wounds are mortal, but the paladin isn’t finished. Her sacred longsword is just as unrelenting as the dragon’s attack. With a triumphant blow, she decapitates the dragon. Its body collapses into a ball of purifying light. The same light envelops Ollysta’s shattered form. As her strength fades, expression of pure serenity crosses her face. With a sigh, she closes her eyes for the last time. She drifts to the ground, landing gently on her back.

As his sword cleaves a clean slice through the monk's shoulder, Zarnel catches sight of the battle raging overhead. Ollystria's triumph over the dragon reminds him of his own flying battle with a dragon and how he too decapitated it. He lets out a mighty cheer, and prepares to call out Vildeis' mantra.
But the words stick in his throat as he sees his faction leader's lifeless form begin to fall towards the earth. Instead of crying 'Abide no Evil,' only a ragged and breathless "Nooooo!" comes out.
Zarnel looks about him at his teammates and the many other fine Pathfinders here. His heart swells with a mixture of sorrow at their losses and pride at the assembled Goodness.
"The death toll shall go no higher," he proclaims with confidence. "Except among the Evil!"

GM Fuzzfoot |
