I like this Championing-In-Tandem strategy; have a hero point, Lirabelle and Orgren!

Basic saves succeed for 1/2 damage. My reading of the spell is that the damage is a basic save and if you crit fail the extra thing happens.

If I'm wrong me know, still learning the ins-and-outs of 2e, but this is how I understand the spell works!

I agree, the Basic saves are a short hand for dealing with the damage from spells. They have made it a general rule.

If it says Basic save, the damage depends on their save result.

Do I get an extra bonus with the campaign service re-roll? I'll use it regardless!

That's what we do at tables with Al, adding his stars. We also allow for a second reroll on the same check as it's an exception to the "only one hero point spent per check" general rule since the coin trumps all and it isn't technically a fortune effect.

Anyway just dropping the note here in case others see another way to run Campaign Coins. It's definitely a niche thing!

Is there such a thing as Reposition? I moved up 5’ and have one action left. I would love to be able to move Ogren out of chomping range.

Not to my knowledge, but there are Dragging rules. It's a measly 50' / minute depending on bulk. This works out to exactly 5 feet per 3 Actions (in other words, a full round to drag a creature 5 feet).

I would also think you need an interact action to grab on to the creature.

So, it's possible to grab Orgren this round, then get him away next round.

Alright, that is too slow. I really wanted him out of the monsters reach faster than that.

I believe I am one action short of being able to heal him this round as well. I need an Interact action to draw a potion or elixir, a stride to move the 5’, and another interact to force feed the potion.

If I don’t move, I could throw another bomb at -5. That would make it difficult to hit the hungry lizard. Rereading the Alchemical Bomb section, they don’t mention targeting an area so all I do is the splash damage,

I have moved my character back to where it was as I check the rules, see if I can’t come up with a better option within the rules.

Bardic Lore lets you wildcard any legal lore to recall knowledge.

I would say Sewer Lore is appropriate under this classification:

Lore about a specific terrain (Mountain Lore, River Lore, etc.)

Take the Animal Whisperer for rodents and you could get Sewer Lore as part of the background. :)

But apparently hermits, nomads or scouts could also take sewer lore as well. A sewer druid hermit sounds like a lot of fun to play... If sewers are not civilization enough to avoid the wild druid anathema.

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

I improv or add Lores for bards with Bardic Lore the to use in my games. There's probably a lore for nearly every general topic. Sewer seemed appropriate to me as well.

Bardic Lore is lots of fun!

I swear I gave you and Lirabelle one each for tandem Championing with reactions in the croc fight, but I cannot find the post now.

It is entirely possible I added the tokens to the slide but forgot to post, or that an edit was lost due to Paizo website wonkiness.

Regardless, tokens on the slide are correct; you have one hero point.

Yay! Thank-you for the point! I thought I remembered a post where Lirabelle got one but I might have been mis-remembering the Campaign coin one. Trading reactions was fun and made me interested in playing with more champions in the future. If (or once) the dedications for neutral deities comes out it'd be fun to run an all champion party with a different reaction a character.

Also I agree with HMM in that this has been an amazing game to play in and you've been a stupendous GM!

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

I'm very happy you're having a good time! This is one of my favorite 2E scenarios so far, and you all have been a BLAST; I'm really glad I ended up running it for this group.

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

@Packet: there's no flat-footed in 2E; you get sneak because of your rogue class features which sort of represents that same concept.

Also, your short sword is Versatile (Slashing) but I assume you use the default Piercing unless otherwise noted or have been given a clue to do slashing damage.

Sure, whatever makes the most sense. I mentioned flat-footed part because the surprise attack thing has this language: On the first round of combat, if you roll Deception or Stealth for initiative, creatures that haven’t acted are flat-footed to you.
But if flat-footed isn’t actually a thing or doesn’t need to be a thing anyway, then that’s okay too.
I guess my next question then is if I rolled deception or stealth for my initiative, because if not then I don’t get the sneak damage anyway.

SoT (Year 4, Sem. 1): Maps & Slides, Handouts, Macros

Yeah. There IS flat-footed, you just aren't flat automatically at the start of combat unless rogue things. I wrote that previous statement very poorly. Between playing last night, work, and prepping to gm tonight I'm barely coherent. You know the feeling :D

You earned all 10 bundles, and got full mission objectives, earning you 4 fame and reputation for your faction. You also did so well navigating the situation with Macron, which required discretion and wisdom, that you earn another 2 Reputation with the Vigilant Seal faction.

I'll try to have chronicles up later today or tomorrow. I hope you all had fun!
