            "Will wonders never cease," Torku mutters as he draws his rapier. "Snakes with brains." He taps the blade against his arm, again summoning the translucent disk before nodding his readiness.
Casting shield. Given that Torku uses psychic spells, I don't believe there'd be any sound for the guards to overhear to indicate spellcasting. I believe it still creates a visual effect, but with the guard not in the room anymore...

            Vulpina nods. "A quiet corner, then, to turn the tables."
She gives her friends (plus Korum) a moment to prepare themselves, then, as she begins to follow, she quietly draws her blade, hoping to ambush the "clerk" before he has a chance to ambush her.
Is that doable, or is it Too Late? Any rolls I need to make?

            Can you provide the math for 12? I know small pistols are 1d6 x4, but I'm not sure where the other x8 are coming from. ...Related note, that should be +4, since you'd multiply the +1 bonus 4 times. Not trying to hamper us, but it'll be significant either way!

            You see three other agents running around the corner but before you can get a good look at the Aspis thug you see Loam fire with hig gun an literally blow the man to bits and pieces.
The other three agents are momentarily startled but anger rises in them.
The guy that welcomed you draws his longsword and makes a 5ft step toward Loam and attacks slashing across the ratfolk's arm! The other two surround Vulpina and then attack her with a longsword and gauntlet!

Vulpina, if you use your dodging panache you provoke AoOs each time from yellow. You can do so with two panache to prevent both attacks from hitting you and moving back each time (both hit AC 19) and then I would make the AoOs. I now assumed you would do that and moved you on the map accordingly. If you do not want to spend the panache then I would move your icon back.

            It's an Immediate Action, so I could only do that once! Which I will; odds are good I'll dodge the one and the AoO will miss. Even if I couldn't read the modifiers, I'd be assuming around a +5, which would be like a 65% miss chance.
"If I do not bleed a little myself, it's a slaughter, not a game~" chuckles Vulpina as she moves.

            It's a Scatter shot! Short version: I attack everyone in a 15-foot cone, with a separate Attack roll for each, taking a -2 to each roll but targeting Touch. If I roll a 1 or 2 on each roll, I misfire. Action-wise, it's just like any other attack.

Using his Mind Barrier focus power as an immediate action when attacked (2 points of focus) to absorb 8 points of damage, then standard action to use his Legacy Weapon focus power to add the keen special ability to his rapier.
