As Senghor draws closer, Torku pokes Korum with his tail. "Hey. Wake up. We need to convince the council or whatever to believe us, right?" He jerks his head at the shivering Gideon. "What we've learned from him is good, but he'd be even better as a witness. You're a charmer - so turn it on and charm him." The tiefling turns back around and stares at the approaching shore, as if scowling will make it arrive sooner.

Who are you people
How did we go this far without telling him who we are with? Lol
Nodding at the tiefling, Korum waves him off before talking to Gideon. "We're with the Pathfinder Society. I assume you've heard of us. It seems like the Aspis have been violating local laws. We need you to explain what you've seen them do, especially any activity on the island. I'm not asking you to implicate your self, just to tell the council what you know of the Aspis' efforts to recover relics and artifacts from the island."

”You better tell me what is going on and who you Pathfinders really want to get! I trusted you so far because you saved my life but going against the consortium can mean death!“
He looks at you all.
"I'm not sure what to think of you guys. I joined the Consortium for profit, but I think Shinri's after whatever power these tablets are about. I think she's not right in the head ... she’s begun talking to herself when she thinks no one is listening. Of course, if you tell her I said that, I'll deny it.”

"We're not asking you to go speak to your former boss, idiot," Torku snaps. "We're trying to take down your former boss and get the Aspis out of town. You tell your little sob story, the Council decides to get their heads out of their asses and helps, and we have a better shot at neutralizing Shinri. And if she's dead, she can't hurt you. Get it?" He nods. "Alright. I'll go with you to the council. But you're going to want more than just my word. I'll tell you how to get to the hideout at Windrell Holdings. You'll have to check it out yourself and leave me somewhere safe, though - I'm in no shape to get into a conflict even if I were willing to be seen with you there."

She doesn't extend the same courtesy to Gideon himself. "You'll want to tell us what you know of Windrell Holdings, of course. Not just its location, even if you aren't sure of much. If mercenary complements are there, preferably."

"We could put up some advertisements for them too while we're at it - 'Now hiring guards at Windrell Holdings'." He pauses to spit. Korum looks at the exhausted team. "Maybe we should show the council the evidence we have first. Wasn't that supposed to be the plan? The Aspis don't know what we have uncovered, and it is unlikely they would abandon a warehouse full of goods overnight. We've had a long day. Why don't we rest up tonight, then talk to the city officials in the morning. Then we can convince them of the danger the Aspis present and move forward with permission. No need to attack in the night like a band of murderers. What say you all?"
If you can find evidence of Aspis activities in Boali, the Society will have a case to gain support from Senghor’s leaders for our future operation against the Consortium. The more you can find about the Consortium’s activities and objectives, the stronger your case will be!

Then he points at a building you can actually see.
”That’s it by the way! Let me at least show it to you so that I can get the heck out of here!!“
Gideon describes the following:
*
WINDRELL HOLDINGS
The Aspis Consortium’s base of operations is an import company called Windrell Holdings. Built upon the pier, Gideon tells you that it allows easy access for the crew of Dreams of Worth to unload their shipments of cargo and relics from Boali without raising too many eyebrows.
Windrell Holdings is a large wooden structure with an arched rooftop. The ceilings are 15 feet high in most rooms, rising to a height of 20 feet in the warehouse. Twin skylights over the center of the structure let natural light in to the warehouse.
A relatively plain sign displaying the company’s name hangs above the main entrance into Windrell Holdings. During the day, this entrance remains unlocked to maintain the facade of a legitimate business.

"It's a defense spread too thin," Loam agrees. "Are you thinking we could enter under the guise of interest in business? I would expect to be supervised in that case, so we could just exploit the unlocked door."

Disguise: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Ehhhhhh not great. Technically above average... but only barely.
She approaches the building, offering a mockery of a noble's wave to anyone who looks at her for more than a split second.
She throws open the front door; is the false front occupied by anyone who seems to be a customer, or just someone paid to stand behind the counter and look busy?

            GREETING ROOM
When Vulpina enters the building through the front entrance she sees a greeting room.
Oil lamps beside the doors to the west and south warmly illuminate this room. Pairs of heavy cabinets sit against the north and south walls, and a desk sits in the center of the room.
On the center of the desk rests a thick ledger, while a surprisingly large piece of decorative pottery sits precariously close to the southern edge.
A lone agent is on guard in this room. He is leaning back in his chair with his feet up on the desk, leafing through an immense book titled Renswald’s Complete Encyclopedia of Fish.
He briefly looks up from behind his book at Vulpina.
"Windrell Holdings is not currently accepting any new business opportunities right now. Please come back next week.”
He then returns to his studies.

Vulpina smirks; "Old business, new building, chum," she says, sounding more like a street tough than the noble she's dressed as.
(Well, kind of; the Disguise roll wasn't particularly good, but she's pretending to be a thug pretending to be a noble. Fret not; she has a plan if that disguise is seen through...)
"Need'a get through to the back. We supposed to go around the side, or is that door gonna work? Instructions weren' exactly clear."
Deep down, the usage of so much improper Taldane is killing Vulpina.

He rises and slips, accidentally knocking over the pot.
