@Daxter, best I see is blindness/deafness on one of us (I think Sarek has the lowest save?). He can voluntarily fail the save and then you can dismiss it after the fight. Hopefully though our burst of damage can drop this thing this round. Otherwise I could certainly use fly.

The group lay into the skull. Its defences are substantial and much of the damage is simply absorbed by the terrifying creature.

OK, moving us onward. Just to note, various darkvision and delay poison scrolls will have expired, again you have no idea at which point this encounter will occur so minute/level or lower stuff wil probably expire.
Passing out of the catacombs you enter a labyrinthine sets of laboratories, libraris and study halls. The area is crammed full of ancient, mouldering tomes, dust covered equipment and odd specimens in jars, vials and cases. The gloom is particularly oppresive, nd all sound is muffled. The ambience if further enhanced by numerous statues depicting delightful deities such as Orcus, Urgathoa, Kabriri and Charon.
Enering one such hall, with multiple levels and steep staircases you find you are not alone. Ahead of you rises a twenty-five-foot-tall burnished gold statue of a skeletal figure draped in fine robes and wielding a scythe. A horned crown rests atop the figure’s head.
In front of the statue stands a massive figure made of mouldering bones. To either side, standing on the landings, float a pair of corpses with burning eyes dressed in rags.

Sarek recognises the big skeleton as a Gashdoroku. The hunger pangs are its starvation aura, anyone succumbing to that aura will take nonlethal damage which cannot be healed until you eat some food and will become fatigued. Its bite attack can grab you and swallow you whole.
The flying corpses are devourers. Horrid undead whose claw attacks cause energy drain, they can produc slay living with a touch and if it kills you it can devour your soul, they possess moderate SR and many spelllike abilities including at will spells true seeing, confusion, bestow curse, suggestion and vampiric touch.

A few quick notes on the environment. The ceilings are 20' tall. the balcnoies the Devoures are on are 10' tall. The railings will give them cover. The stairs are difficult terrain. The room is dim light, those of you without at least low light vision will be taking a 20% miss chance. Your various darkvision scrolls have expired. You can have recast them on the way if you have more.

On looking back over the actions it occurs to me that Blink bauses issues for beneficial effects as well as harmful ones. I will let the death ward and blessing of fervor stand this time but you may want to bear it in mind for the future.
Brutus jogs up the stairs, trying to get into range of one of the Devourers. It obliges him by trying to kill him! The first claw goes well wide but the second tears into him and drains his life!
Brutus takes 12 damage and 1 negative level, reducing current and max HP by another 5
Sarek meanwhile takes two hefty blows, one particularly viscious, but his life force is protected by death ward, which is just as well.
Sarek takes 32 damage but avoids 3 negative levels

"Roary, can you help Brutus kill that one? I can help Mr. Sarek." he says as he skips up the steps with fervor.
I am going to use Death Ward on myself, then use a swift action to revert our Teamwork Feat back to Outflank (+2 extra from flanking everyone, plus crits trigger AoOs from your flanking buddy), then take a long way around to get into flank with Sarek (using the +30' speed boost from Blessing of Fervor this round). Also a reminder for the players and GM, my song provides +1d6 sonic damage to all weapon hits (so if not already factored in, Sarek at least should have gotten it on his 2 hits last turn).

Picking up his weapon ill be fine. And I agree about the spells GM, but would it be 50% or 20%? It says your own spells are 20, not sure if allies count like that. While I still think it's worth it with his low AC it's deff not as many positives as I originally thought.

Finally, the creature’s entire body fractures, and it topples over, breaking into pieces as it falls. With a cheer, the caravan charges forward to deliver supplies to the front lines.
