GM, re the light-dimming effect in the area, Agata has a ring with Heightened Continual Flame (Level 6, CL 11) if it matters. Does the effect dim even that light?
Agata Will vs Mind Fog, Heroism, runeward tattoo: 1d20 + 17 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 17 + 2 + 1 = 21 Really?!? Welcome back to me!
Agata Will vs Charm Person, Heroism, runeward tattoo, 4 leaf clover, Mind Fog: 1d20 + 17 + 2 + 1 + 3 - 10 ⇒ (3) + 17 + 2 + 1 + 3 - 10 = 16 Oh, it's going to be like that, is it?
GM, Sweet Mawd has SR 21. I'll roll her saves on the assumption that the creature beats that.
Sweet Mawd, Will vs Mind Fog, Heroism: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21 !!!
Sweet Mawd, Will vs Charm Person, Heroism, Mind Fog: 1d20 + 18 - 10 ⇒ (4) + 18 - 10 = 12
Agata begins to loudly scold her comrades. "Dearies, dearies, this ain't no way to act, not when we're droppin' in to visit an' ole friend. I know this here ooze ain't look so great nor smell fine neither, but ye got t' look past them superficial bits. Why, jes' look at me, if'n yer doubtin! Judgin' from the outside, why ye'd never guess how charmin' I am. Well, it's jes' the same with me oozie friend here - why, back in Magnimar we used t' snuggle under the Bridge 'n have a grand ole time! Jes' give it a chance!"
GM Cwethan
Okay, at this point I need to know if Tally and Gaétan failed their save against the Mind Fog, since they'd come ahead of Agata in the charm queue so...
Will: 1d20 + 9 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 5 = 23 Pass!
Will: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 29 Pass!
Spell Resistance for Mawd: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27 Pass
Okay, charm's a good 'un. Fortune sounds like a good row to hoe for now. You're still in control of your character pending some charisma checks to nudge you further down the path... Sweet Mawd however is neither mind fogged nor charmed.
And yes, continual flames, no matter how heightened, also have their range halved. They still illuminate within that radius though.

Alarmed at this latest turn of events, Sweet Mawd quickly draws a wand and taps her mistress with it. "Here, m'lady, it's time for your acupressure treatment."
Protection from Evil - I believe this should give Agata a new save against both Mind Fog and Charm Person. Duration 1 minute.

Agata slaps Sweet Mawd's hand away. "Did I ask for me accupressure treatment!?! Honestly, it's hard t' find good help these days!" She flies closer into the room so she can help her friend who is - honestly - just misunderstood. Fortune Hex on the ooze; duration 3 rounds.

Murmurs of satisfaction burble up from within Agata's mind as she turns her witchcraft to the ooze's benefit, though a note of confusion and concern creeps through as Tally surprises it by climbing onto the pool of divine blood. Gaétan's impact is rather more direct, his ceaseless barrage punching several holes through the Psoglav until it becomes quite clear to the T. Rex holding it that it is very dead. The crit finished it off.
One psoglav circles wide, using one T. Rex's sheer mass to block it from the other's bite as it draws near to Marcus, its outline blurring with illusion as it presses forward. The other freed one then hastens all but the grappled psoglav, giving Marcus's foe an extra bit of speed for his bite!

Thanks for the Dispel Magic! Glad I don't have to go after my comrades!
I assume that activating her Aura of Purity hex won't end the Mind Fog effect since it has already happened?
Agata squints at the ooze as her mind returns to its usual condition. "Oh, so it's like that is it, dearie? Well, I ain't too fond o' gettin' messed with, on account o' I'm the one what's s'posed to do the messin, doncha know?"

The actual mist is almost entirely cosmetic to the Mind Fog in any case - why Life Bubble didn't work - so Aura of Purity wouldn't be effective.
Agata finds that the Ichor's good fortune is harder to take away than it was to give! However, Sweet Mawd's barrage of bolts is enough to chip away at the undying blood.

Is anything giving that ooze cover? We really need to end that thing.
GM Cwethan
Objects aren't subject to increased critical damage, but the psoglavs have Greater Sunder, so if the regular damage busts through the items, then my reading is that the extra damage could still carry through. Wouldn't have happened with the whip, but truthfully, I hadn't pulled up all the numbers on that yet!
The T. Rex is giving it cover from most angles, and from some angles a psoglav or Marcus could give it cover. It doesn't inherently have cover if that's what you're asking.
The T. Rexes smash into the Psoglavs, leaving one broken and dead and the other unconscious in a saurian's mouth.

Arillia flies forward slightly to deny the ooze cover from the large dinosaur before it. Pretty sure that's right. If not, she'll do this same thing but dropping Empowered.
Let's try touch attacks again without cover and with Point-Blank Shot.
Spell Resistance (just in case): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 29
Empowered Scorching Ray Attack 1: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 13 + 1 = 19
Empowered Scorching Ray Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 13 + 1 = 24
Empowered Scorching Ray Attack 3: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 13 + 1 = 34
Empowered Scorching Ray Damage 1: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 2) + 5 = 14 +50%
Empowered Scorching Ray Damage 2: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 6) + 5 = 21 +50%
Empowered Scorching Ray Damage 3: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 6) + 5 = 26 +50%
Ray 3 Confirmation: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 13 + 1 = 26
Ray 3 Critical Bonus Damage: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 1) + 5 = 15 +50%
Once again, if this goes well (2/3 shots hit & not resisted) she will Quicken a Scorching Ray.
Quickened Scorching Ray Attack 1: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 13 + 1 = 26
Quickened Scorching Ray Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 13 + 1 = 29
Quickened Scorching Ray Attack 3: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 13 + 1 = 15
Quickened Scorching Ray Damage 1: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 6) + 5 = 27
Quickened Scorching Ray Damage 2: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 4) + 5 = 21
Quickened Scorching Ray Damage 3: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 4) + 5 = 20

Agata and Sweet Mawd fly to a better position to take aim at the ooze. I assume no cover from this spot? If no, she will fly further down the room until she doesn't have cover vs the ooze
Quickened Enervation at the ooze
Ranged Touch, into melee: 1d20 + 14 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 14 - 4 = 24
SR, if needed: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35
negative levels: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Agata frowns and decides that at least she can possibly take the last of the wolfmen out of the fray.
Ice Tomb hex on Yellow
Cold dmg: 3d8 ⇒ (7, 5, 6) = 18 Fort DC 29 for half; failure means the creature is paralyzed and unconscious within the ice.
Finally, Sweet Mawd continues to blast away at the ooze with her staff.
4 Magic Missiles: 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 1) + 4 = 12
Fortune on the Ooze will expire just before Agata's next turn.
GM Cwethan
@Arillia & Agata: You're still shooting through the T. Rex's squares, so that would provide cover. I put versions of you outlined in pink in the closest squares that would skip the cover.
Let me know if those positions are good before I resolve. At my 12 hour check in tonight (~ Server 1:00 am) I'll go forward with your stated actions - Agata will move forward, Arillia will not empower.
Arillia Kaenath

I thought we got to choose one of our corners to shoot from. It should have been direct from that standpoint. But if not, I moved her away from the group (no Empower) to hopefully have clear fire in the future. If that doesn't work somehow, then the square you choose was fine, so long as she is still above the fray.
Agata
|
Fine with me.
GM Cwethan
You do get to choose what corner to start from, but the T. Rex was still in between any of your corners and every ooze corner, much the same way that two people around corners at the other end of hallways don't have line of sight. Happily the T. Rex is only cover instead of entirely blocking LOS/LOE, so the other shot would've been allowed, if obscured.
But for this turn, no empower and a clear shot!
One of Arillia's rays scorches a furrow into the ichor, but even while entangled by Tally, the other two and Agata's hit just off target enough to be deflected by its profane aura. Ergo no quickened rays
The Psoglav however, is far less resilient and is instantly iced over by Agata's baleful eye!
Fort: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 So close, and yet so far...
Arillia feels the Ichor turn its will against hers, trying to influence her as it had Agata, the simple enchantment easy enough to quickly perform even while essentially tied into knots.
Defensively Cast: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (8) + 22 = 30 Auto-passes vs. entangled.
It then slides further beneath the T. Rex, and begins summoning forth swarms of wasps! But they're not here yet...
The centipedes that are however, continue to chew their way through the ichor's foes!
Swarm Damage @ Marcus: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 2) = 14
Swarm Damage @ Red: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 1) = 18
Swarm Damage @ Green: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 6) = 20

Green, fort distraction: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27
If the ooze is evil those saves are at +2 due to the magic cirlce.
With the psorgalavs all inactive the dinosaurs turn their attention on the ooze (assuming they make the distraction save otherwise someone is getting the worlds most disgusting projectile vomit).
Both attack twice, only trying to grab on the second attack

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**
Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr frowns at the black veins running through Gallowspire’s walls. “Do you see that? That’s pure negative energy flowing through the walls. It’s strengthening every undead creature in all of Gallowspire. If we don’t do something about it, I shudder to think how tough our battles will be against Gallowspire’s strongest defenders. Let’s put a stop to it here and now!” Players, you can send your Spellcaster Aid Characters on this mission.
GMs, please begin the Aid Mission (Spellcaster) when you reach a good point to do so.

Oozes don't take extra crit damage, but also it didn't confirm.
The ooze is evil, but the centipedes are not, so red is poisoned and nauseated.
Zadeh's blasts pock the surface of the tangled up ichor, but don't disturb its summoning autopasses against each of the second set of 3, but when the T. Rex that isn't deeply concerned with the centipedes CRAWLING INSIDE IT chomps down on the ooze, it's enough to smash through its arcane workings!

In a swirl of bright light a tall thin man in a robe of midnight blue and wearing a mask of platinum appears as if from nowhere. The mask is polished smooth and lacks any decoration, adornment or apparent eye or mouth holes. Behind him stands a massive, muscular angel with sweeping wings of pure white bearing a flaming greatsword.
Venture Captain Antonius Gallonica, Viscount of Lionsguard, Master of the Order of the Gate and High Priest of Razmir the Living God casts his perfectly smooth face around the assembled Pathfinders and the ruined dungeon.
You called me here for this Sorrina? The concerns of the Living God go beyond that of one small part of a relatively minor planet of a single plane of existence. Still, I can afford you a little time from my other duties. Perhaps a connection to the plane of positive energy might assist.
With that he sweeps out his arms and invokes his most powerful of magics. Before him a point of light appears, it swirls and begins to grow and grow until a massive circular disk of light sits hovering in the air. Within can be seen an infinite expanse of pure bright light.
He turns to the angel standing behind him. You shall be our bridge, begin.
The creature bows its head, its face barely betraying the anger and fury it feels at being compelled to this place but conflicted as it is here furthering a worthy cause. It drives its sword into the ground and steps into the threshold of the Gate. Positive energy flows into it and from it down into the blackened bones of the Catacombs. The strain is evident as any energy, taken in too great a measure, can be harmful, even that giving life. As more and more light pours through the Planetar it screams and silently explodes into motes of light.
I trust that is sufficient help Sorrina he says before disappearing.
