Turns out this is a popular scenario. When I was reading it, I realized I'd already played it (which is good because it helps me know what's going on) and Izlin has already played it and Tofang has already played it.
I'm going to send out feelers to some of our past team members throughout the day to see if they want to join back up with us.

If we don't hear back from him by tomorrow, I'll go ahead and have the Pit Fie...I mean...um...peasants get into the house for the fighting to happen.

It's may be a bit harder for a while though, I have to work from home because they've closed my daughter's school (which means I'm working and watching her.)

I'm a schoolteacher and our schools (UK) are still open.
We've just been told to socially-distance ourselves so it will be good to have this outlet for communal creativity and japes.
I'm waiting to see how Grandblade's save turns out.

My school is closing down. I've got to do remote-teaching, probably from home, which will be an interesting new challenge.
My sons' teachers have been uploading a daily video and sending out assignments by E-mail, if data points would be helpful.
We have a secure google suite. I'm using google classroom to share resources, students are sharing folders in their drives and writing essays on shared docs for me to add feedback to. Meanwhile, we are using hangouts to give verbal feedback and have Q&A.
I'm trying to find something to use as a kind of virtual whiteboard that they can look at during hangouts.
Mine are all 16+ so my main worry is that parents will leave them to it and the kids will spend the whole time on phones/xbox/etc.

I think companies will readjust. I work in the pharmaceutical industry, there are a lot of people who are working on diagnostics and therapeutics for the months/years ahead. A vaccine will be approved eventually; a medicine will be approved eventually; as testing becomes more widespread we'll have better information to act on. It's just a question of when.

We opened our "COVID" isolation unit, and currently have a few people on the ventilators that Castinus is so wonderfully providing. The unit has capacity for 14 patients/vents and we anticipate that unit will be full by the end of the week. After that we start shifting hospital units to "closed" and reopening them as COVID isolation units too. At some point we simply run out of space and resources, not just for the virus- but for everyone else who is sick and needs urgent or emergent care.
It is a really long read, but this is the best article that I have seen on what we are facing.
Just going to wait for Castinus and Kal'Ryon to place themselves on the board before I snap the trap...um...I mean...proceed.

Kyle is far closer to the front line than I am. I work for a ventilator company, but in a support role. Close enough to see the work being done to ramp up manufacturing and what it means when we can't supply, but no-where near to being able to directly help.
One of my neighbors is an ICU nurse at a local hospital. His wife E-mailed us to request we not ask him about his work in person, so that he can have some social interactions that don't remind him about work.
I have no idea how such people deal with their day to day experiences. It's humbling.

Sorry Guys! I had a nice relaxing weekend with the family, without thinking about work or computers or social media. It was wonderfully excellent.

Well that ended quickly. The damage this group can put out is astonishing. Well, astonishing for a below APL triple-classed character anyhow.
