Welcome! This should be a wild ride.
Expectations:
1) Please post within 24 hours of your turn coming up, and sooner if possible. I will try to keep things moving. This one is known for going long IRL, we'll see how long it takes in PbP.
2) If you have to be away, please let me know and include some botting instructions in your profile. Or designate another player to bot you if you wish.
3) I roll most things openly. Feel free to check attack rolls if I miscalculated, or saves (I might roll saves for you all to move things along more quickly if needed - to this point, let me know if you have any reactive abilities that apply to saves). If something is in a "GM Eyes" spoiler then please don't check it.
4) I know the rules fairly well, and can post reliably to keep a game moving, but please do let me know if I make significant errors either in the rules or in game management. However, if you have raised a question and I have made a decision on it, that decision is final. As per PFS rules, I will not make rulings that are clearly and explicitly contradicted by the books, but there is a good deal of grey area where I will use my best judgment. This scenario explicitly bends the rules in multiple ways.
5) One area with a lot of table variation is Take 10. I am a fan of it. Feel free to use it when not threatened or distracted (pretty much when not in combat) unless a skill says otherwise. MW tools are another area subject to some amount of GM discretion in my understanding, where I am not quite so permissive. I'm sure other things will come up - when I make a ruling you disagree with, please understand that I am not being adversarial, but doing what I think is in the best interest of providing a fun game for everybody.
6) This scenario has a lot of contingent bonuses based on prior scenarios and boons. Please fill out the following (considering only the PC in this adventure, of course):
a) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #0-14, "The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch"?
b) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #2–07, "Heresy of Man, Part 2: Where Dark Things Sleep"?
c) Do you have the Reckless Revenge boon from #5–12, "Destiny of the Sands, Part 1: A Bitter Bargain"?
d) Do you have the Honored Acolyte boon from #6–04, "Beacon Below"?
e) Do you have the Debt to the Scarred Sage boon from #9-04, "The Unseen Inclusion"?
f) How many Scarab Sages faction boons do you have?
g) What is the sum of your Mendevian Commendation boons and your bonus combat feats earned from class levels?
i) How many languages do you know beyond your starting racial languages (e.g. most often Common and 1 other)?
j) How many feats, traits, or class features do you have that impose a code of conduct? (This is a bit nebulous, so please spell out what you are counting and I will figure out what the total should be. I think the intention is that "paladin" is 1, "oathbound paladin" is 2, "oathbound paladin with Iomedaean Sword Oath feat" is 3, rather than counting the 17 class features that a Pal11 gets)
k) How many mutually exclusive boons have you earned (that is, you had a choice in boons on a Chronicle sheet and could pick one by crossing off the other)?
l) How many dragon-themed feats, traits, or class features do you have? Every power in the draconic bloodline is counted separately, and the Draconic language also counts as 1 here.
m) How much gold and Prestige have you spent to heal other Pathfinders?

Wow, that is a lot of info lets see...
6) This scenario has a lot of contingent bonuses based on prior scenarios and boons. Please fill out the following (considering only the PC in this adventure, of course):

e) Do you have the Debt to the Scarred Sage boon from #9-04, "The Unseen Inclusion"?

f) How many Scarab Sages faction boons do you have?
5 (assuming this is only ones that are explicitly Scarab Sages vs. Osirion; so the Destiny of Sands trilogy would not count)
g) What is the sum of your Mendevian Commendation boons and your bonus combat feats earned from class levels?
0
i) How many languages do you know beyond your starting racial languages (e.g. most often Common and 1 other)?

6, I think, though maybe a few more. Do boons like Contracted Wish here count? Chronicle 35
l) How many dragon-themed feats, traits, or class features do you have? Every power in the draconic bloodline is counted separately, and the Draconic language also counts as 1 here.

m) How much gold and Prestige have you spent to heal other Pathfinders?

GM, Katswiri has a few once per day magic items (prayer beads and mnemonic vestments). She also tries to extend spells overnight if at all possible since a lot of what she brings to the team is her buff spells and it lets her double up on spell slots.
Daily use items don't have a defined recharge time as far as I know. Some googling seems to indicate it's GM ruled, with the most common ruling being they recharge at a fixed time each day, during daily preparations, or each item recharges 24 hours after use. How do you rule this?
| GM Aldizog |
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
No clarification on the GM thread about the Scarab Sages vs Osirion boons, but I'll count the Osirion faction boons as well.
As to Katswiri's extending spells overnight, I will say each item recharges 24 hours after use. So you cannot (for example) use the Strand of Prayer Beads at 8 pm to get +4 CL to all your overnight spells and then also have it available the next day - at least not until 8 pm.

I hope this helps. Thanks again for GMing this scenario!!! :-D

Hello GM and everyone, some more information also on the ability interactions of note for Setare:
- As a ‘Whirling Dervish’ Swashbuckler she always tries to parry/ riposte and has dex to damage with one-handed piercing weapons and Scimitars. She uses a cestus.
- As an Unchained Monk she flurries with a cestus as this a monk weapon.
- As an Unchained Monk Scaled Fist her Charisma is used and not her Wisdom for class abilities.
- As an Unchained Monk Softstrike Monk archetype she can deal nonlethal damage without penalties and uses this with the Enforcer feat to intimidate as a free action. She can also deliver a ‘stunning fist’ with a weapon when dealing nonlethal damage.
- She has the Bodyguard feat and uses 3-4 AoO to give +4 AC to allies with the Adopted Halfling Helpful trait. (see background in case you’re interested in the Katsu of Halfling/Ifrit/Kitsune family)
- She usually fights defensively and has the Crane Style, Crane Wing, Osyluth Guile feats for +4 dodge bonus in general, +8 dodge bonus vs. melee attacks and + 13 dodge bonus vs. a single melee opponent.
- When she smites she also receives additional benefits including a her Charisma as a deflection bonus to AC. This stacks with the general charisma to AC from Scaled Fist Monk and her charisma as a dodge bonus to AC from the feat Osyluth Guile.
- As a Bloodrager she chose a Draconic Bloodline familiar with the Protector Archetype and which I enhanced with the Boon Companion Feat to be a Level 5 familiar to gain the damage sharing ability from Shield Master (Su):
At 5th level, whenever a protector or its master takes hit point damage, as long as the protector and its master are touching, its master can split the damage evenly between them as if under the effects of shield other. This replaces deliver touch spells and speak with animals of its kind.
Thanks again for GMing.

Hi everyone, notes for Katswiri's different mechanical abilities. There can tend to be a lot for the higher level characters.
Katswiri is an int-focused Lore Oracle with the Seer Archetype and the Deaf Curse. She is primarily focused on buffing and skills.
Katswiri has the deaf oracle curse, so she cannot hear. Mechanically, deafness:
--Causes her to automatically fail all perception checks based on sound
--Would give her a -4 penalty to initiative checks, but removed by her curse's level 10 ability.
--Gives her a -4 penalty to opposed perception checks
--Makes her immune to language dependent spells and abilities, audible bardic performances, and some specific spells or situations that require hearing (like the stun on sound burst)
--Would give her a 20% spell failure chance for casting spells with verbal components, but her curse gives her the silent spell metamagic on all her spells for free with no level or cast time increase.
To help understand the people around her, she took read lips as a language with linguistics as noted in the PFS faq: http://paizo.com/organizedplay/faq#v5748eaic9vhs
More recently, she has purchased magical Spectacles of Lip Reading, which have made it much easier for her to understand those around her without needing ideal conditions (she just needs to pass a DC 0 perception check, modified by distance and conditions as appropriate to understand someone as long as she speaks the language they are using). Most of the time, lip reading is sufficient to allow her to function pretty well, but occasionally events will require some help with someone repeating information or explaining things, like when she runs into intelligent talking objects or there are loud noises out of sight that need to be responded to.
Katswiri's main focus is on having a few different limited use abilities that can be used to get very high skill check results.
Some highlights:
--She has a +34 Knowledge:History due to boons, faction journal card, and feats.
--She can use her Lore Needle to roll any knowledge skill with a different knowledge skill's bonus 3 times/day. She uses this to roll with her Knowledge:History bonus.
--Her Focused Trance revelation allows her to enter a trance for 1d6 rounds, then get a +20 circumstance bonus to any int based skill check. The time usually precludes combat use, but lets her more or less automatically succeed at 3x out of combat int based skill checks per day.
--Her Natural Divination revelation from the Seer Archetype can be used for either getting a +4 bonus to an init roll, +CHA insight bonus to a save, or a +10 competence bonus to a skill roll. She usually takes the +skill option, so has up to 3 more times she can get +10 on a skill check.
--She can cast Bestow Insight to get a +4, 5 or 6 insight bonus depending on CL to a skill for minutes/level, and can be dismissed to roll twice and take the better result on a check. This one can be shared for group skill challenges but takes up spell slots.
All of these give different types of bonuses as well, so she can stack them if she needs to, going up to +70 roll twice at maximum for a knowledge check. That is usually overkill, but sometimes she does this to identify a boss fight if she can see the creature with enough time to use Focused Trance and has uses of all these abilities still available.
Katswiri's other main area of focus is buffing and status removal. She is focused on extending duration, with a number of day or 1 hour/level spells and Prayer Beads of Karma to get her caster level up enough that she can cast a full set of buffs, go to sleep, then wake up and go adventuring with full buffing and spell slots. She can't always do this, since sometimes the mission starts immediately and is clearly time sensitive, but she'll usually try to argue for a 1 day delay to the mission if its not too dangerous to take advantage of this.
Her overnight buff routine is usually:
Activate Prayer Beads (CL 15)
Get Sharesister via scroll or spellcasting services (Usually makes CL 16)
Cast Blessings of Fervor for 16 rounds of free extend spell on level 1-2 spells.
1: 7 casts of Extended Ant Haul and Extended Endure Elements
2: 7 casts of Delay Poison
3: 7 casts of Extended Share Language
4: 5 casts of Magic Vestment +4
5: 4 casts of Greater Magic Weapon +4
Greater Magic Weapon and Magic Vestment will overwrite the base enhancement bonus of weapons or armor but keep special abilities. Ant Haul will last 64 hours, Share Languages and Endure Elements 48, and the others 32. Because Blessing of Fervor is multi-target, other casters in the group can potentially get free extend for thier level 1-2 spells in a similar way; Darkvision, Mage Armor and False Life are usually the three most common someone might have, but there are others.
Other common buffs that get applied during the adventuring day (Caster Level can be anywhere from 11 to 17 depending on Sharesister scroll use, Anointing Oil and whether Prayer Beads are available):
1: Shield of Faith, Protection from Evil, Tap Inner Beauty
2: Eagle's Splendor
3: Communal Resist Energy, Bestow Insight, Magic Circle Against Evil
4: Blessings of Fervor, Freedom of Movement, Air Walk, Death Ward
5: Life Bubble, Communal Spell Immunity, True Seeing
Katswiri has an extensive scroll collection. She also has Menumonic Vestments, so can cast 1 spell each day out of her scrolls with her caster level using one of her spell slots. She usually uses this for status removal, since she has a lot of spells like Remove Curse/Remove Disease/Suppress Charms and Compulsions in scroll form.
Her Arcane Archivist revelation lets her cast 1 wizard spell per day as if it was on her spell list, but she needs a spell book and it takes up a slot 1 higher than the wizard spell level. It also deletes the spell from the book, causing it to need to be recopied.
Katswiri just got this ability, so currently only has Dimension Door in her spellbook (and the copy she makes to recopy the spell when her abiity deletes it).
Katswiri can also Commune for free twice per day, once with a 1 minute cast time and once with a 1 hour cast time, thanks to two different oracle revelations. She usually tries to use these ahead of the mission to pull out information on the dangers in the place she's going to go; during missions, she can sometimes use the 1 minute cast one to answer some specific questions that might come up.
Other notes: Katswiri uses CHA instead of Dex for AC and Reflex saves due to her Sidestep Secret revelation. She uses CHA in place of Wis for mind affecting will saves due to her Steadfast Personality feat. She tries to use a wand of Heightened Awareness when there is possible trouble for the +4 initiative boost.

6b) No
6c) YES
6d) YES
6e) No
6f) NOT including those referred to on the Chronicle as "Osirion"? 1. OTOH, if those count too, then 4.
6g) 1 Mendevian Commendation; bonus combat feats? Surely you jest.
6h) THERE IS NO RULE H! Sorry, Rocky Horror flashback...!
6i) 15, assuming "lip reading" counts as one and Osirian and Ancient Osirian both count individually, otherwise 14 or 13
6j) "A Wizard is never late, nor is he early..." Aside from that, dick-all!!!
6k) Interesting, OK! I believe the answer is 3.
6l) None.
6m) From the looks of it, it would appear I did spend 200 gp to help raise someone in the distant past!

@Katswiri - reading through the scenario, I don't believe a 1-day delay is going to be possible for various reasons. In this instance. Katswiri can have her long-term buffs applied to herself, having used the Prayer Beads at let's say 10 am the previous day. So the Prayer Beads would be available again at 10 am on the day the scenario starts (don't worry, you don't get attacked during the briefing), and any 32-hour spells cast on herself the day before would last until 8 pm the day of the scenario. As an Oracle 11, I believe she's still going to have a ton of spell slots and be able to contribute very significantly.
As to those skills checks (or Setare's AC, or probably a few other things I'll discover)... well, I'm also running a PFS Core game in this same subtier (different scenario) and it really is night and day difference what PCs can do. Pretty wild. Yes, those Knowledge skills will come in handy.
Sorry about missing item (h). That one should be, "How many HP has your character recovered through Infernal Healing?"
No, just kidding. That omission was my mistake over the course of revisions to that post.

a) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #0-14, "The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch"?
No
b) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #2–07, "Heresy of Man, Part 2: Where Dark Things Sleep"?
No
c) Do you have the Reckless Revenge boon from #5–12, "Destiny of the Sands, Part 1: A Bitter Bargain"?
No. Got the Subtle one
d) Do you have the Honored Acolyte boon from #6–04, "Beacon Below"?
No
e) Do you have the Debt to the Scarred Sage boon from #9-04, "The Unseen Inclusion"?
No
f) How many Scarab Sages faction boons do you have?
Saddly None
g) What is the sum of your Mendevian Commendation boons and your bonus combat feats earned from class levels?
None
h) How many HP has your character recovered through Infernal Healing?
Never played any paladin before. So, it's funny how it feels that this is the only PC I have that never used it, besides the obvious reasons ofc. Luckily, he didn't had that awkward moment from being healed back into consciousness by another one using Infernal Healing on him
i) How many languages do you know beyond your starting racial languages (e.g. most often Common and 1 other)?
Beyond Draconic and common, 7 in total
j) How many feats, traits, or class features do you have that impose a code of conduct?
2 or 3, I think
The "Paladin" class and the "Oath of Vengeance" against evil are two.
But the "Souls Stone" from Living Monolith implies the pursued of oaths towards the gods and pharaohs of Osirion.
Mechanically, it doesn't affect anything, it's just fluff. But I don't know if this would count as another one for this specific instance. So I'll let you be the judge of this one.
k) How many mutually exclusive boons have you earned?
5 in total, as far as I see
l) How many dragon-themed feats, traits, or class features do you have?
Only 1, thanks to the starting language
m) How much gold and Prestige have you spent to heal other Pathfinders?
A small contribution of 300gps on a Remove Curse for another player

Hi, below my replies . Need to check languages back home
Basi6) This scenario has a lot of contingent bonuses based on prior scenarios and boons. Please fill out the following (considering only the PC in this adventure, of course):
a) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #0-14, "The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch"?
No
b) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #2–07, "Heresy of Man, Part 2: Where Dark Things Sleep"?

No
f) How many Scarab Sages faction boons do you have?
0
g) What is the sum of your Mendevian Commendation boons and your bonus combat feats earned from class levels?
0 . Rage poers don’t think they count as combat feats.
H) How many hitpoints you have been healed with infernal healing ?
At last 40 hp, Back at her first adventures, there was the only way the party had to heal, and this was casted by a friend of hers. She usually heals with wands of Cure.
i) How many languages do you know beyond your starting racial languages (e.g. most often Common and 1 other)?
Need to check this one once i am back home .
j) How many feats, traits, or class features do you have that impose a code of conduct?
0
k) How many mutually exclusive boons have you earned (that is, you had a choice in boons on a Chronicle sheet and could pick one by crossing off the other)?
5 ( Blood under Abslaom, Dawn of the scarlet sun, Year of Shadow Lodge, Siege of serpents, The cosmic captive )
l) How many dragon-themed feats, traits, or class features do you have? Every power in the draconic bloodline is counted separately, and the Draconic language also counts as 1 here.
0 or 1 depending on languages
m) How much gold and Prestige have you spent to heal other Pathfinders?
She would have helped any time she could, fortuntaelly, it was never needed to pay for services. She has spent scrolls to help people, I do come to mind about 4 Airwaks or Freedoms to help people get out of situations, but I am not sure iif this count

Yep, thats a list
a) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #0-14, "The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch"?
Nope
b) Did you earn a Chronicle Sheet for #2–07, "Heresy of Man, Part 2: Where Dark Things Sleep"?
Nope
c) Do you have the Reckless Revenge boon from #5–12, "Destiny of the Sands, Part 1: A Bitter Bargain"?

None
g) What is the sum of your Mendevian Commendation boons and your bonus combat feats earned from class levels?
None I think
i) How many languages do you know beyond your starting racial languages (e.g. most often Common and 1 other)?
None, just the 2
j) How many feats, traits, or class features do you have that impose a code of conduct? (This is a bit nebulous, so please spell out what you are counting and I will figure out what the total should be. I think the intention is that "paladin" is 1, "oathbound paladin" is 2, "oathbound paladin with Iomedaean Sword Oath feat" is 3, rather than counting the 17 class features that a Pal11 gets)
No class features I have impose a code of conduct
k) How many mutually exclusive boons have you earned (that is, you had a choice in boons on a Chronicle sheet and could pick one by crossing off the other)?
The cosmic captive, Year of shadow lodge, siege of serpents, Ghol Ghan Heresy counts?
l) How many dragon-themed feats, traits, or class features do you have? Every power in the draconic bloodline is counted separately, and the Draconic language also counts as 1 here.
None
m) How much gold and Prestige have you spent to heal other Pathfinders?
She usually act as healer, and her gear is purchased with that idea in mind, so I do not know if purchasing healer gloves or a phylactery of positive channel counts

Hello GM,
Regarding the familiar:
- totally agree about bodyguard feat
- familiar is in a familiar satchel for 25 gp which offers total cover and touches Setare from in there using one of the holes was the idea, but it would make sense if you required that the familiar would come out of the satchel if it wants to use shield master and then your concealment ruling would apply?
- familiar is still subject to gases etc like stinking cloud in the satchel

My vote for the jewel sage stands with : Amenopheus
And its there something we can do as recall knowledge of this hazard? Or that is the information given on the hazard text ? Aslo are we aware if this is a haunt? ( Loolsm like) or a magical trap or something as that?
Eskar Stonefair
|
My vote is thorned between Amenopheus, Tahonikepsu and Sinuhotep.
The first two because I think they bring solid damage to the table (although Amenopheus seems kind of a bit more fragile that the others by looking at his HP). Sinuhotep may be a good pick as well because, as an undead, he might have immunities for any kind of affliction the undead might throw at us, such as the mentioned diseases, but he seems to be inclined to bring more utility rather than damage to this encounter.
That's the way I see it at least.
Katswiri
|
Ah, I missed the discussion here, apologies on that, editing my post out until we agree on the sage. I would vote for Tahonikepsu, for durability reasons.
Katswiri
|
My view is that Amenopheus is the strongest for dealing with this, in part because he's got Dimension Door so could DDoor straight to the monolith and work from there, and he has good knowledge bonuses (do we get those to our rolls if there's knowledge/spellcraft checks involved?). However he's very fagile relatively speaking, and the dangers are obscured. Tahonikepsu or Sinuhotep are much more likely to avoid getting hit hard by something unexpected moving in while obscured by sand.

The Grasping Graves hazard is basically like an undead Black Tentacles.
If individual hands grab you, they can be attacked and destroyed (physical attacks, energy damage, positive energy damage, etc.) but new ones will spawn the next round.
It is neither a trap nor a haunt.
Thank you for the clarification, And i am sure thta dispeling it is not an option here, since its a continual effect itself, not something that has been like cast right?

Thank you for the clarification, And i am sure that dispelling it is not an option here, since its a continual effect itself, not something that has been like cast right?
You could try. I'll say that Katswiri would have recognized it as an active spell effect (via Knowledge-Arcana) and told you such if it were that. It isn't.
But sometimes hazards, creature abilities, or other effects have specific counters that you might not expect.
Eskar Stonefair
|
I could be missing some buffs, but I believe Oasis is walking at floor level and doesn't have anything to exclude him from the hazard, so maybe both of him and Eskar should be subjects of a grapple check as well.
Have to calculate and post their AC and CMD as well for the next post.
Katswiri
|
Oasis has a +4 deflection bonus from Shield of Faith as well that boosts CMD.
Here's what I think the current breakdown in AC/CMD is for everyone except Setare. I included blessing of fervor for the people that took the dodge bonus this round, but Blessing of Fervor and Saya's song are probably going to move stats around.
There'a few things that I couldn't get to line up with the stats in profile, let me know what I might have missed.
Eskar:
AC:
10 Base
9 Full Plate
3 Magic Vestment
1 Sacred vs. Evil (Lastwall Phalanx w/Oasis)
4 deflection (shield of faith)
-1 Dex/+2 Natural/-1 size (Righteous Might)
+4 (shield, presumably cast when Blessing of Fervor is since its almost the same duration off a wand)
+2 Dodge (Blessing of Fervor)
=33 AC, 32 vs. Non-evil
Eskar, there's a +2 Natural armor in your profile description but I can't find the source, is that coming from an amulet or something else?
CMD:
10 Base
11 BAB (Ka Stone BAB Boost)
1 Sacred vs. Evil
4 Deflection
1 Size
-1 Dex
7 Str
2 Dodge

Oasis:
AC:
10 Base
6 Level 11 Companion NA Armor bonus
1 Camel NA Bonus

4 Deflection (Shield of Faith)
2 Dodge (Blessing of Fervor)

10 Base
6 BAB
8 Str
4 Dex
4 Deflection
1 Sacred vs. Evil
2 Dodge (Blessing of Fervor)
2 Size

There's an extra +3 NA in the profile I'm missing from somewhere that isn't included here.
Lunnette:
AC:

2 Dex
4 Mage Armor
2 Dodge (Blessing of Fervor)
=18 AC
CMD:

6 Level 11 Animal Companion NA
4 Wasp/Level 7 Advancement NA

Saya:

I'm missing 1 point of AC vs. the number in the profile Saya, do you know what I might have missed?
CMD:
10 Base
8 BAB
2 STR
4 DEX
=24 CMD
Katswiri:
AC:
10 Base
6 Mithral Breastplate
2 Heavy Shield
3 Magic Vestment Breastplate
3 Magic Vestment Shield
4 Deflection (Shield of Faith)
5 Cha (instead of Dex via Sidestep Secret)
=33 AC
CMD:
10 Base
8 BAB
1 Str
-2 Dex
4 Deflection
=21 CMD, Freedom of Movement
Setare: Complicated and situational, see post/profile.
Sihir:
AC:
10 Base
1 Size
3 Dex

3 Deflection (Ring of Protection)
=21 AC
CMD:
10 Base
5 BAB

3 Deflection
=19 CMD, Freedom of Movement
CMD is higher than indicated on the profile, I think it might be missing the +3 from the ring of protection.

Yeah, I just stopped counting for Oasis once I figured it was above 29.
Might matter next round if the claws roll better, but they are not a major threat.
As an environmental hazard rather than a specific creature, it isn't 100% clear that Lastwall Phalanx applies, but as a judgement call I think I will include it.

Thank you so much for the compilation! Yeah, I was trying to make numbers and I just recently noticed that additional +3 NA on Oasis, I was searching for that and I don't know where it came from. So is fixed now.
The +2 NA of Eskar are from his Racial trait "Armored Scales" taht gives him a +1 NA from his scales, and the other it's from the necklace of natural armor +1 thats missing on his profile. Also corrected.
Those numbers seem to be correct from my end as well. The only difference I think I have it's that for Oasis, camels start at large size, so i believe the dire collar would only increase his size once, applying only a -1 size on AC and +1 on CMD. Ending up with (30 AC, 29 vs. Evil) and (35 CMD, 36 vs. Evil) i think.
Thank you so much for taking the trouble of going through all of the numbers, this helped me a lot to keep a track of it all.

Wait, Rings of Protection increase CMD?? It doesn't mention that. After all these years, that'd be total news to me.
Katswiri will use Anointing Oil to boost the CL by 1...
Also, remind me what precisely this does?

Anointing oil is a consumable that increases the CL of a harmless divine spell with range of touch by 1. Katswiri uses it for some of her buffs to try and get to the next breakpoints or increase duration/target count.

Well, son-of-a-pumpkin! All these years...I guess it makes sense I'd have missed CMB/D details like that, considering how much of my knowledge I'd imported from 3.5. I have a few character-sheets to adjust!
You see the fireball area, right?

Should I mark off a ration? Would it have taken the whole thing?

Hey, I’m not seeing the enemies on the map currently?

I just realized that, while I did infact buy rations....I put them on Katswiri's Camel with her other camping supplies since she filled her haversack. Which is definitely not here.
Oops.

Oh, that was easy then. :-D
