This is the black smith shop, and who is the child?' Stopping at the shop, Elek notices the child, but sees no threat,
He must like the thread, Hooting?'... Mil?
hearing the shouts, Elek steps forward unconciously begining 'Cat Crosses the Courtyard.' Seeing the elderly man burst out of the shop, he stops moving, 'No need to be jumpy, probably just need to rest.' intentionally trying to stand at ease, placing both his hands behind his back.

'Guests, they like guests.' Watching as the man embraces the child. Scars? poor child. Good man, ones story should be one own.' Looking from the man and boy toward Tenora, 'candle stand?' Running his right hand through his shoulder length hair, smiling slightly, he shakes his head no, extending his hand. "Greetings Milik, peace favor your sword. I am Elek Kardforgató and this is Tenora Sedai. Sadly we are only looking for information. Master Thronskop told us we might find Marlene here. We were hoping she could help us with some information."

Milik shifts the boy in his arms, and takes Elek's hand, shaking it. he nods at Tenora and listens to Elek. His face grows a bit long as hears about the desire, not for metal work, but for information.
Ah, Marlene. yeah, she's upstairs, sleeping. I keep watch over her son here so that she can have a few hours of uninterrupted sleep during the day so that she can work her night shift. He looks elek in the eye, and milik's body shifts slightly, in a guarded stance, as if he's bracing himself for something that he knows will be uncomfortable. I assume, if an Aes Sedai is here, then you'll want to talk to Marlene right away?

Retired to SUMITHA

'Firm grip...makes sense, she works half the night, hate to wake her up, looks like Milik hates to wake her as well. but Tenora seemed insistent about speaking to her.' Elek looks from Makik to Tenora, raising an eyebrow. 'Need to let her speak for herself.'

Hmmm...I wonder at these Aes Sedai who journey into the Blight, as well as Marik. Are we working at cross-purposes, or do we aim for the same target? Noticing the way the shopkeeper emphasized 'Drink', it appeared to be a cultural thing.

Aloud, Renlo said, "It is quite interesting. I think I will have some tea, after all, if I may."

Sholo smiles warmly at Renlo, lifts up his drink in a benediction to Renlo, and takes a even pull from his cup. Smiling, he lowers the cup and sets it on the table. Thank you, may your travels be easy. Although, you are headed into Malkier, and that is no easy travel. But still, Sholo observes the customs of his forefathers. I truly wish you easy travels. Now, to business. taking a liberty hereNow, from your list you have provided me, it looks like you are planning to be in the Blight for at least 3 weeks. And it appears that you have accounted for the need that you shouldnt really touch or burn anything of the Blight, which is good. Ok. Your list looks satisfactory, and Sholo can provide. It shall take me a day to gather the items. Please come back tomorrow and it shall be ready to go. Now....how will this be paid for?

Milik makes a sour face. He pats mil's back and sets the boy back down. the boy smiles at both of you, picks up his bucket, and starts to carry it back into the shadows of the shop, hooting and grunting. It takes you a moment, but youre able to hear the boy hooting a song... my bonnie comes home.
Milik nods his head towards the interior and leads you past large pallets stacked with iron ore, copper, brass, and boards of wood. The smell of coal smoke, thick and heavy, fills your lungs, yet a slight tang of crisp honey intermingling. the colors found in this area of the shop are muted due to the heavy layer of soot. Past the inventory and out the back, he leads you to a set of stairs that rises to the top of the blacksmith shop. Milik climbs the stairs and, being first upon the landing, knocks loudly upon the stout wood door. Your eyes take in, as you ascend the stairs, iron figurines nailed upon the side of the building. Some crude, others of finer detail, they depict men in battle, attacking and defending each other against the large mishappen creatures that are unrefined upon the iron medium.
You get to the top of the stairs, hearing Milik pound several more times until a voice shouts distantly LIGHT IM UP!

a few moments later the door opens to Marlene wearing a shawl around her shoulders, covering her in a slight form of modesty. Milik! Is Mil Ok? she asks, seeing her landlord and token father figure before her. she looks at him with concern in her eyes, but then looks beyond and sees Tenora and Elek standing upon the stairs. They have questions, Marlene. Questions about them Aes Sedai you told me about a few days ago. Want me to stay with ya? Mil wont get into trouble in the shop... the man says, looking between you and Marlene.

No Milik, it's ok. Ive got this. Go. she says. She looks at you both, and holds the door open. Come in.

Retired to SUMITHA

'Hopefully the information we get from these folks will be worth disturbing them.' Winking in return to Mil's smile. Elek follows Tenora and Milik through the shop. Shifting as he moves so as not to run into anything, 'The coal furnace is an expected and familiar smell, but what's causing the smell of honey...Is he hooting "my girl came back"? Yes, but they call it something different here in Shienar, what was it? Oh yeah, "My Bonnie Comes Home". As the come to the stairs, unconsciously, he begins to softly whistle the tune the boy was hooting.

Headed up the stairs, Elek stops whistling and slows down admiring the iron reliefs. 'Our blacksmith has a gift.' He looks from the sculptures back to the smith.''I wonder how many battles, how many raids, how many nightmares, he's lived through; to be able to recreate these images.' Hearing the banging on the door, Elek's focus returns to the task at hand. His eyes drawn to the voice and the open door, recognizing the woman, 'As I suspected, it's the barmaid that was hysterical when the Kandori stabbed that local fellow, what was his name "Salt"?' he quickly lowers his eyes, so as not to appear to stare.

Nodding to Milik as he passes the man on the platform, he follows Tenora into the small room. 'I should let Tenora do the talking. the sooner we finish the sooner we can let her get back to her rest.' Taking the room in a glance, he nods politely to Marlena. Stopping near the door, just inside the room, he places his hands behind his back and attempts to appear at ease.

Marik, yeah id say so

supplies:
Sholo makes a sour face. A letter from the Amyrlin... he begins, but listens to what Marik has to say. His face brightens noticeably and then grows a mischevious smirk as Marik ends his statement. Well...i suppose that could be rather favorable for both of us. Although, i have only but your word that youd return to me for such an arrangement. But alas, i cannot enforce such a thing, per se. My guy who i usually send out on such lucrative investments isnt here today. Nor is he home. Strange for Gjurn to be missing like that. Ah well. Let's say this. I will take your down payment of 100 Marks, and i will secure the letter upon my premises. I will draft a formal invoice to the Tower and send the request for monies to Tar Valon. This shall cover the costs neccessary for your equipment. However, we agree, in a non-traditional means, that I am to be your first point of contact to...aquire... these miscatalogued items.

Tenora has told me that she is busy being a lawyer and will be a bit...distracted...with those lawyering things that lawyers lawyer.

Tenora nods at Marlene and steps into the small apartment. She glances around the room, nods at it's well upkept appearance, and then takes a seat without being offered one. The seat sits against the wall, and provides Tenora with an easy view of the entire room. She motions to Elek to join her by waving at the other chairs in the room.
My time is short, Marlene, so for the sake of brevity, let's cut the niceities. What can you tell us about these 4 aes sedai that came through last week? DId you catch any names? What did they look like? did they say where they were headed?

Marlene nods to Milik, who proceeds down the stairs. Marlene closes the door after elek enters and takes a seat at the single table, clutching a small cup in her hands. Turning it over, she answersYes, there were four of them. I think they were, what youd call, ajah's? Ajans? guild members, to be sure. Three wore red. Red dresses, red sash, The Aes Sedai ring. They had a severe, noticeable hatred towards any man, no matter his station. One was called Alice, i never caught a last name for any of them. She was, i think, the leader of those reds. She'd command, and theyd respond. I did overhear them talking about going into Malkier, and there was some mention of a Shame. I dont know what that was about, but that fourth one, she was real keen on it.

Staying near the door, Elek watches the exchange. 'Tenora was always straight to the point.' Looking from Tenora to Marlena, 'Four of them, three in red dresses, the leader called Alice. If three were from one ajah, or guild, I wonder if we can learn where the fourth was from.'

Waiting for Marlene to stop speaking, Elek clears his throat, and then looking down. "Marlene, the one who spoke of shame, do you remember what color her dress was or did you happen to catch her name?"

"I will always strive to write better" , 25 years gaming, 20 yrs DM

Marlene shakes her head from side to side. No. The other 3 seemed to defer to her. I never caught a name, but she was wearing a simple brown dress. And she didnt wear a ring.

'I have no idea if a brown dress means anything or not, but no Ring, that sounds odd.' Looking from Marlene back to Tenora, He pauses for a moment to see if Tenora has any other questions.

'I guess this means were done.' Seeing Tenora stand to go, Elek nods to Marlene, "Thank you for your time." He opens the door for Tenora and turns to follow her out. 'I wish there was something more we could do.' At the last moment he reaches into his pouch pulling out some of the coins. 'These will do me no good in Malkier.' Turning to Mil's Mom, he hands her the coins. "For Mil, I hope..." He gives a slight smile and shrugs his shoulders, he nods again and follows Tenora down the steps.

alright, it seems like things have pulled together nicely. we can say that you all meet back up at the Rusty Nail Inn. You have about 24 hours to do whatever you want...so if there's any upkeep you want to do, or what not, now's the time. You can make a general post about what your character does during this time. To keep the game moving, we can say that any discussion about what Tenora and Elek discovered can be conducted on the road out of Fal Dara. We need to get Bataar back into the game.

He haggled over a few fine points of the deal, nothing major enough to really cause any problems, just the dance all mechants did.He was secretly concerned about the other group of Aes Sedai going on what seemed to be the very same mission. Nothing he had heard from his great Aunt had suggested that some of her other sisters were going that way.

Plans in action he made sure to discuss with the others where they were to meet then made his way to see if perhaps Miss Annara wanted to hear more of his tales about traveling, life in Tar Valon, or if she wanted to talk about herself... or where she saw herself in a few years Light she was beautiful... and smart everything a man would want in a woman really.

"Easy boy, let's make sure your good to go, Were headed to the blight and we both need to be at our best." Putting the currycomb back in his saddlebag, Pulling out a small hook, he carefully cleans each hoof, making sure the iron shoes were tight. 'shoes and hide are good, need to check the mouth for sores.' Lastly checking the bays mouth. running his fingers inside, rubbing the gums and where the bit rests. Nodding, he leads the bay back in the stall. Reaching back into the saddlebag he pulls out a cube of sugar, and flattening his palm, feeds it to the horse. "enjoy this while you can boy, after tonight there will be no rest." Pulling his saddle from the rail, he starts checking straps, and buckles. After double checking the saddle and bags, he nods to the stable boy, "Have a good night son."

Returning to the Inn, he sits at a table, 'Probably will be my last chance to try the sirloin steak with egg noodles.' Nodding to the waitress he smiles, "I hear the sirloin and noodles are the best in the city, I'd like to order a serving." Eating the noodle and steak slowly, savoring each bite. 'Master Thoronskop was right, it is the best meal I've had in months.'

Leaving a tip on the table, he returned to his room.

'Check and double check, this task will make guarding rich merchants look like childs play.' Emptying his rucksack he lays everything on the bed, he sorts through each item, checking and rechecking everypiece, then carefully repacs the rucksack. 'Gear is good and packed. Now to check the weapons.' Setting the rucksack aside he lays his weapons on the bed. Drawing each sword he carefully oils each and takes a whetstone, making sure any new scratch gets rubbed out placing them back in their scabbard. Checking the blade on the axe, he takes the whetstone to it also. lastly he checks the bow, then waxes his three bow strings and checks the fletching on the arrows. 'Now we wait, no need to try and make the sun rise, tommorow will come soon enough.' laying on the bed, he tries to rest, waiting for sleep to come.

Negotiations concluded, Renlo returned to the Rusty Nail Inn. The first thing he did was make sure that Quick was ready to go. The gelding was a good horse, but the Blight could try any animal. The second thing he did was have a good meal. Then he turned his attention to his equipment. Both his swords received a polishing and quick swipe along the whetstone. The dagger got the same treatment. That was followed by ensuring everything was in its place in his backpack, and then an inspection of each of the arrows in his quiver. Finally, he gave his bow a full once-over, ensuring the wax wrapping around his spare bowstrings was in place and there were no scratches or signs of weakness on the bowstave. He left it unstrung and propped in the corner - leaving one's bow strung was a good way to have it break when you were using it.

They travel the cobblestone roadways through the city of Fal Dara. The sound of commerce, travel, construction, and children fill the tight confines of the city, reminding you that this city, the entirity of it, is designed to be a fortress first against the forces of the Dark One. Where a kid runs along a side, narrow alley, you see that a Trolloc would be hard pressed to easily traverse it. Stone walls with narrow windows; colored curtains flutter in the slight breeze upon the air, make for ideal murder-holes should a hard of darkspawn breech the gates. The doors at the main level, all made of stout wood, reinforced with iron and steel bands. You look up the street, and back down it, and see that it doesnt follow a straight line. It curves slightly, naturally forming choke points.

You pass through the city and out the wide open gates where the guardsmen intone blessings upon your travels May Peace favor your sword! They salute Elek, and nod a personal goodbye to Korin. Korin cannot help but return the pleasentry, for he knows many of the men who guard the gate having spent many a nights in the inns around the gate area.

Female Human (Illianer) Noble 2 / Wilder 3

The last few days, the city of Fal Dara had been abuzz with rumors of strangers in the city. The strangers had conspired to commit a murder in broad daylight... No, the strangers had prevented a murder in the common room of the Rusty Nail. No, it was Aes Sedai who had prevented the murder and taken the assassin away.

It was always a challenge to winnow away the chaff and find the golden kernel of truth in the chatter of a city as large as Fal Dara. Fortunately, Cor'ellis enjoyed a challenge.

'They do be a busy lot.' She thought to herself as she observed the party making travel preparations. 'And not very discreet.' She pulled a slight frown and sighed. 'Still, perhaps that do be for the best. I did learn they aim for Malkier, after all, Fortune Prick me!' Still, she hesitated to make herself known. Had it not been for the kindnesses of the Kandori swordsman, she might not have decided to make contact.

And so, here she found herself. Her own supplies packed, her mount saddled and her room at the Inn settled. Waiting to greet those she hoped would accept her presence as they made north for the Blight.

The woman's darker complexion marked her out as a stranger in these lands, the warm tones in her hair and skin speaking of a sunnier climate. She seemed a competent rider, one moment allowing the restive grey dappled stallion to dance a few sidesteps and the next bringing him under control gently. She was slender of waist and limb, but with a generous figure. She sat her saddle easily until a shaggy black dog placed himself before her, bristling and growling low at those who approached the supply train. Then she quickly dismounted and stood beside the beast, crooning softly to soothe his hackles. The canine quieted quickly, but his eyes still held a glow of menace as his gaze flickered over the party, ever watchful.

The woman smiled in apology, "May fortune favor you. I do offer you Greetings. And my apologies for Val here. He do be a good guard dog, but leery of strangers. I do be the Lady Cor'ellis, of Illian. It do be known that you lot intend to travel north." The warmth in her dark eyes kindles to a fiery heat as she turns her gaze toward the Blight. "Fortune Prick me, but I would accompany you. I do be a Hunter for the Horn, and by my oath I must go north." Her tone was friendly, but firm. The implied request almost seeming a command, still her cinnamon colored eyes searched for the commander of this group, looking for sign of agreement.

'Is that a dog?' hearing a dog growl, Elek turns around, lowering his hand to the large sword, seeing the shaggy black dog. Watching as tan woman dismounts from her dapple, speaking to the dog, soothing it. 'good with the dog.'

Elek smiles, watching the woman. 'A good guard dog should be weary of strangers. Ahhh, a hunter of the horn...and she wants to follow us.. by her oath must go north?' Looking from the Lady to his cousin, then Marik Korin and Renlo, Elek turns the bay towards the lady. "I am Elek Kardforgató." He lowers his eyes, ”An honor Lady Cor'ellis, of Illian , as long as you chose to travel with us, my life above yours."

"LADY Cor'ellis...What business would you have in Malkier? Hunting the Horn? AND if you find it what would you do with it? Surely not claim it for your house in Illian?"

Who next are we going to ADOPT on this journey? Where is her servants?

She turns to Sholo.

"Yes of course. We didn't know of her?" Then back to the noble.

"How DID you know that we were going north? And what will your dog eat? I like animals mind you but we have provisions for ourselves. And we aren't bringing the good silver!"

After that fiasco with Bataar and "Salty" everyone knows we’re going north... ‘Bring the good silver? The food is no big deal, so what has Tenora this uptight? Is it her lack of knowledge about the other Aes Sedai or the fear that the tower may not acquire everything of value.'

Shrugging his shoulders, and clearing his throat. "It's not like our 'misadventure' at the inn hasn't been the topic of every tavern and inn throughout the city of Fal Dara."

He reaches back and pat his saddle bag. "As for supplies, I carry ten days rations of food and feed for emergencies." He looks at the others, "As I assume most do."

He then turns back to the Lady, not quite making eye contact. "And if you need a tent, I have a small one you can use."

"A word in private please cousin...."

Renlo watches the approach of the woman warily - why did this woman seek them. As she introduces herself, some of his initial wariness eases, and he offers a mounted bow as he says, "Peace favor you, my lady. If you are indeed a Hunter for the Horn, then I do not think the Blight is the place you would journey. I heard some time back that the Horn was actually here in Fal Dara. Perhaps a lady of your bearing could request an audience with Lord Agelmar and ask of it?"

Renlo looks at her dog again, then does a double-take. That's no dog - it's a wolf! Why does she have a wolf with her?

He hoped the wolf's presence didn't cause Quick to be too uneasy.

Hearing Tenora whisper something, Elek turns back around, 'Huh, mines a borderlander tent too, But better than nothing right? a word, now?' Giving his cousin an odd look he shrugs, "Sure cousin.' Looking briefly at Renlo as the woodsman makes a good observation. 'Maybe she should speak to the Lord first.' Returning his gaze to Tenora, he shifts his bay closer, "Now?"

He will follow Tenora away from the group if she desires.

He was in a fine mood. Best mood in a long long while. Despite his misconceptions of well the other team, He hadnt expected to see Sholo there really though he should have now that he thought about it, all he had in his head was thoughts of his beautiful Annara. The other woman, the illianer however made him blink. She was a pretty one he could see why the others were so quick to offer her a place in his... or was it Tenora Sedai's caravan now.

Things to ponder. He blinked at the Renlo's words.. the horn was here in Fal Dara? what in the light? She was pretty though, had he not met Annara he was sure he would offer her his tent...

"Thank you Sholo, you have provided everything I have requested and more, I will speak highly of you always."

He began making a cursory inspection of the wagons and goods, He did glance torwards the woman with a frown. He had much about so called hunters for the horn. All he saw of the woman was a crossbow and a belt knife. He hoped she was one hell of a shot then traveling into the blight so unarmed. . . He suddenly chuckled and glanced at himself.

" Can you use that crossbow or is it for deterrence?"

He began asking the woman what she was about. If she wanted to join the team she had be able to pull her own weight that was for sure.

Looking from the Lady to his cousin, then Marik Korin and Renlo, Elek turns the bay towards the lady. "I am Elek Kardforgató." He lowers his eyes, ”An honor Lady Cor'ellis, of Illian , as long as you chose to travel with us, my life above yours."

Cor'ellis smiles as Elek introduced himself, but the finality in his last words seem to shock her as an almost struck look crosses her face. It is gone in another split second and she shakes her head ruefully and mutters something under her breath that sound suspiciously like Borderlanders... as she smiles again, although a bit sadly.

Tenora WoT wrote:

"LADY Cor'ellis...What business would you have in Malkier? Hunting the Horn? AND if you find it what would you do with it? Surely not claim it for your house in Illian?"+

"How DID you know that we were going north? And what will your dog eat? I like animals mind you but we have provisions for ourselves. And we aren't bringing the good silver!"

"I would see the Horn where it do belong, as is my duty as a Hunter. I do give oath I have no personal designs upon it... Aes Sedai." She hesitated over the honorific as if deciding whether to err on the side of honoring or slighting the younger woman before landing on the former. Graciously, to her mind given the way Tenora was stressing her own title. "Nor do I ask for charity. I do need to travel north and that do mean finding companions for that journey. Yours do be the most likely sort to be seen in weeks."

She narrowed her eyes slightly at the mention of the Horn in Fal Dara. "You do be hearing this rumor as well? I do admit, I came to Fal Dara chasing that one. But it did be for nought. If Lord Agelmar knows anything of the Horn of Valere, he do no speak of it. I did read a passage once that mentioned Malkier as the last known location of the Horn, before the Breaking. Thus do I turn north now."

"It do be for hunting. And yes, I do be proficient in it's use. Among other things." She said, patting the crossbow. "Val do generally be deterrent enough." She chuckled, patting his shaggy black head. "His eyes do see better than mine, especially in the dark. He do give warning of danger and hunts his own supper, most days."

She turned from the party to the merchant, pulling a sealed letter from her belt. "Master Otto, I believe? I do no wish to delay your patrons any longer than necessary. Surely a merchant of your renown can quickly load up one more allotment of water, feed, meat and rations for myself and my little retinue. Swiftly, please. Funds do be available for you when you present this letter on account." She held the letter up before his eyes where he could see the rose design in both her signet ring and the violet wax seal on the letter.

She pulls Elek away. She looks annoyed.

"We don't know her from a stranger? Why should she come with us? Do we need to bring a fine mattress with us?"

Turning from the Lady, 'A nice smile, sad it doesn't reach her eyes.' Elek turns from the others conversation to speak with his cousin.

Reining the bay near Tenora, 'True … also true...A fine mattress? Why is Tenora so disturbed?' Elek Shrugs, "Your right, she probably shouldn't come with us. But if she does, I'm willing to protect her." He runs his fingers through his shoulder length hair, looking towards Tenora but not making eye contact. "I'm not sure what has you so upset. All of our companions are strangers and she can't be any less useless than Marik. At least she has a dog and a crossbow. Did you see the blade Marik is carrying? I could break it in half with my bare hands."

Renlo considered Layd Cor'ellis a moment before he said, "You should know that journeying into the Blight is no country ride. The Blight is dangerous, even quiet as it is right now. You will need to have a sharp eye, and touch nothing. There are worse than Trollocs in the Blight."

Sense Motive DC 20:

You notice that when Renlo says the word Trollocs, there's something to it - a sense of...hatred is the only thing that comes to mind, but the word doesn't seem strong enough.

"I am not sure that Val will want to hunt his supper when in the blight. I doubt anything he catches would be all that wholesome." Korin remarks, approaching the dog and letting it sniff his hands if it so wished....

...which apparently it did not. Korin shakes his head ruefully and backs away a step or two when the animal lets out a low growl. "You have a cautious protector, Lady. And wiser than I it seems. That is good. " Korin chuckles then glances briefly over at the Aes Sedai and her cousin. ...wonder what that is about, though I can probably guess.

sense motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Korin raises an eyebrow briefly at the fervor in Renlo's turn and nods appreciatively before adding.

"All very true. As to the horn, I also heard on many occassions the rumor that it is in Fal Dara. The story was common enough that either it must be true, or else perhaps someone very much wanted everyone to believe it was so and spread the rumor. I would consider that Lord Agelmar may have any number of reasons for choosing not to speak of it."

Sholo takes the writ from Cor'ellis' hand muttering under his breath Stupid writs...no cash up front... He looks at the seal and a flash of recognition crosses his face. Breaking the wax seal, he skims the note and recognizes the name Lord Cor'wall Tafarr You're? He's? Sholo sputters as he truly understands who her father is. Yes! Yes! this will be most acceptable. I am sorry to say, it will take a little time to gather the things you request from here, but I can have a man meet you closer to the mountains, if you all plan to cross into Malkier at the Malkier pass? I have a trading post near there, wont take much to send a fast rider out there... my Lady Sholo bows

"Of course I know that. But I don't want a wandering eye for a pretty face to lead to something ill befalling us. And my gut says don't trust her. Her appearance comes pretty close to our return from asking about those sisters. But as long as any artifacts are taken to the Tower for study you can keep an eye out for our pretty *lady*"

Cor'ellis cocked an eyebrow at the Shienaran who seemed so intent on dissuading her. "I do seem soft in the head to you, do I? Well, perhaps I do be at that. Still, if I did expect a pleasant ride in the country, I would be jaunting off on my merry way, would I no? No, I do no be such a fool as that."

She almost cautioned the elder Shienaran against approaching Val, but then decided to see how he fared. Hearing Val's warning growl, she placed a steadying hand on his back. "Quite enough of a deterrent, as I did say." She said with an amused smirk. "But do no fret. He do be a good guard dog and trained well. I do mean to heed your advice, once we do come near the Blight."

Hearing Sholo Otto's assurance that her order of necessary goods would be delivered along their way, she nodded. "You do have my thanks, Master Otto. May Fortune favor you always."

She then resumed her saddle as if all was now settled, Val remaining at her stirrup. She adjusted her divided riding skirts to her liking and then turned a patient gaze to the Aes Sedai as she conferred with Elek. Giving the distinct impression that any further delay would not be her own doing.

'A wandering eye for a pretty face?' Disappointed that his cousin thinks so little of him, Elek doesn't really focus on the rest of her discourse. Looking briefly at the others then at Tenaora, He whispers "Your an Aes Sedai, you want to find the artifacts for the tower. I understand, I hope you find the artifacts for them, I really do," He begins to turn the bay towards the others, "I'm a swordsman, I chose to focus on protecting lives with that sword instead of focusing on taking lives with it. That's what I do, I protect people." Gesturing to move back towards the others, "Let's get back to the others so we can both do our jobs."

He rides back near the others, spinning the bay, looking from Cor'ellis to Marik. "So it sounds like were ready to go, right?"

I will say that if no one has any objections, we can move the party to the small village of Thorn, where we last left Bataar. I'll give the rest of today for any small matters to be finalized, and then tomorrow we can set the scene for Thorn, and picking up Bataar.
